It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.

I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.

For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.

I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

Called them to request service to install outdoor GFCI outlet for my water fountain. The owner Lucas picked up the phone and asked me to send the pictures of the location where I want to install the outdoor outlet. Sent him the required pictures and information of the job that I want them to do and then follow up with few text messages. No response at all I guess they don't have courtesy to reply to a prospect client. Will not recommend this business.

I bought a Telsa and it arrived in 1 week instead of a month so I had to rush to get home charging setup. Went to Yelp and looked for the Top 10 Electricians that service Mill Valley.

Divine wouldn't even come to my house without charging me hundreds of dollar for a consultation... forget that

Got a quote from another top rated place that wanted to charge me $2,800. Well above the range for $500-1,500 that was the norm for this kind of work.

Reyff quoted just under $1,000, and worked me into the schedule quickly. Marcos and Steve worked incredibly fast and efficient. They were in and out by 11am and a pleasure to deal with.

The plug works better than advertised and I couldn't be happier. Will be hiring them again for my next project.

Boris had fixed a short in one of my fixtures, and consulted on the best lighting solution for my space.  Miro came back and did the installation, once I bought my fancy-schmancy fixtures. Miro did a wonderful job on the installation, and was an absolute pleasure during the process.

Five star service from start to finish.  They were honest, engaged, professional, and really great to work with.  FINALLY, I have a go-to electrician.

Recommend without reservation for service, price, and quality of workmanship.

We've hired Wong's Electric for a number of projects around the house, including: Installing 220 for Central Air, adding outdoor outlets, putting in motion lights, outlets, fixtures and updating wiring for a slide-ins stove. Since we live in an old house and have added an addition, Wong's Electric has helped us with updates to the old, including fishing line through finished walls, and the new, including all the wiring for our addition. All the work they've done is seamless and very reasonably priced. I honestly can't imagine how anyone--at any price--could do a better job than they have.

I've never interacted with anyone like Mario. He's responsive, honest, and a true craftsman. I had Mario do a couple of things, he removed and rewired some old wires in my garage, he did that in an hour.  Later in the week he did some pretty involved work of rewiring my living room which involved multiple trips under the house.

His pricing is very reasonable and he will be my go to electrican from now. If you're looking for a long term electrician, don't hesitate to give Mario a call.

Edward was so helpful! I'm very happy I found him on Yelp! He is very responsive and has good quality work! He was able to meet me after I was off work, and gave me a quote on the spot to get our electrical projects taken care of. We needed a total of 13 recessed lights installed and about 8 switches - changed to motion sensor, humidity sensors and fan timers. We also got our dining room light switched out! Looks awesome! Exactly as we had hoped! Edward was able to start work right away and completed the work in just 2 days! Edward helped us with our project while I was at work, so he kept me in the loop via texting and sending pictures about the status of the project. Really appreciate that! Communication is really important to me and Edward is great at being responsive and giving me updates! We will be reaching out to Edward for any of our future electrical projects! :)  Thanks for the help!

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!

My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.

We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.

Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Michael came to my home to give me an estimate on changing out all of the electrical outlets in my home, recess lights, and outside security lights.  He was very friendly but more importantly he is professional and knowledgable in his field.  These days it is hard to find these three qualities in a person.  I am very happy with his work.  He also stands by his word.  I thought something was wrong with one of the outlets, turns out it was my fault, he had no problem returning and checking out that problem to make sure my home was safe.  I will be using Michael as my electrician.  Helen Robinson
