OMG, I thought he was amazing. He has a great talent for troubleshooting and explaining to someone who doesn't know anything about electrical work what is going on and what my various options are. He figured things out so fast (some which were so simple I could kick myself). Example, our motion sensor outside is not working because water leaked in it. Someone else had told me it's the wiring that was bad. I am very glad to have found him on yelp!

Jothi just installed several very heavy and pretty complicated Restoration Hardware chandeliers for us. He's very professional, nice, and easy to work with. His prices were very reasonable. We would never use anyone else

Natalie was 5-star! I had a pretty straightforward install of a EV charging unit, but placing it could have been a bit of a challenge. Not for Natalie. She was on time, and helped me find a safe and secure location for the unit. High quality work from an intelligent and motivated electrician. I highly recommend her.

Fuata Electric came as a recommendation from a friend and we're glad to have worked with them! Dave, Mario, and Justin took care of all our electrical needs (making sure everything is to code) at the cafe, and then some. They got things done when they said they would even in freezing and rainy days. Incredibly professional and reliable!

Unlike many commercial contractors we've bumped into, Dave and team work fast, gives you advice on how to save on costs, and easy to talk to! I think they have fair pricing and great service. Hope to work with them again when we open our next shop :)

I hired Brains Automation to install over 20 patio path lights, 3 spotlights and several outlets. They also installed some backlit address numbers. Overall, working with Edgar and his team was a pleasure. They worked hard and were always prompt, communicative and very flexible especially as our needs changed. I highly recommend them and will definitely use them in the future!

I recently moved to Orinda and I used Fitch Electric for some minor electrical work (outlets, switches, sconces) in December 2021. It was about a 3 hour job.

Martin was the electrician and he did a great job. He showed up early, wore a mask, answered all of my questions, and completed the work efficiently. He also figured out a switch that had stumped another licensed electrician.

The prices were reasonable (and transparent) relative to other vendors in the area. It was also really easy to schedule an appointment by calling the number listed. I honestly thought this whole process would be a pain but it was super seamless.

I highly recommend Fitch and plan to use then for any future needs.

Their team was very responsive in giving an estimate, scheduling the work, and following up with any questions. Arrived on time, did great work, and was a reasonable value for cost. Highly recommend.

Needed a Tesla Gen 2 wall charger replaced with a Gen 3 wall charger. The Jade Electric team was very responsive, professional, and efficient with there work. Customer Service was top notch! I highly recommend!

I want to UPDATE this review and give credit where credit is due.

Firstly, Miro BV's Owner is a real human being, exceptionally nice man, a caring father, and just an all around considerate professional person.

How many times have you had someone say: all I want to do is make you happy. And he did. He was disappointed (as was I) with my experience (see prior review) and all he wanted to do was make it right.

Secondly, Miro then came over. Inspected my job. Made apologies. Sent two incredibly competent electricians to install my two light fixtures (in a week from said previous bad experience) and in 3 hours at a VERY reasonable rate...poof! Pendant light and ceiling fan installed!!

No hassle. No pathos. No price gouge. Just a can-do, polite as pumpkin, clean, tidy, professional install.  

As for the first guy, we'll let's say Miro learned him something. You don't get to treat customers poorly and expect no consequences. I will leave it at that.

I just called Veterans Electric and a man answered with a gruff voice and literally answered the phone with yeah and no other greeting. I followed with I'm calling for an electrician? And he said uh, yeah, I can't get to you today, man (with a gruff, raspy voice) and then he added but, maybe tomorrow morning or something.  Wanting to find someone with a much more professional demeanor I said okay, thanks but all of sudden he didn't want me to get off the phone so he said why, you got a problem or something?  And, I said Yeah but that's okay, and he said what kinda problem you got? to which I stated it's okay, don't worry about it and ended the conversation.  

That is the extent of my interaction with Veteran's Electric.  I obviously have no idea about the quality of this guy's talent or skill with his trade but this was not a reassuring beginning to problem-solving an electrical issue.

Highly recommend. Two friends of mine recommended Quaweay and I was pleased with the technician's work. I was able to get an appointment just a few days after I contacted the company. The technician was courteous and explained things to me and completed the work quickly - replacing two wall outlets that stopped working.

We had an electrical problem in our garage and needed to installed a new receptacle. Reached out to multiple companies on Yelp. Alex responded to my inquiry promptly. I contacted him on Friday and he got me a morning appointment on Monday with Mikhail. I requested Mikhail based on yelp reviews but I don't think it would matter since Alex was going to send Mikhail to my house.
Mikhail arrived within the appointment window. I don't think I was explaining well to him what I wanted but he was patient. After we agreed on the price, he went to work right away and got the job done in 45 minutes. I would definitely contact them again in the future. Highly recommended.

They are very good guys. Eduardo and Josue are very professional and quick to respond. Always available for big and small projects. I have to say also that their work is neat and clean. Knowledgeable, when they don't they say it, go home, study the issue, and come back with the result. The price is fair for the Bay area. Plus, they are always in a good mood.

Oliver from Handyman Heroes was great! We received their quote for our office through Managed by Q, when I requested for an electrician to come in due to continuing issues with our circuits and half of the things in our office kitchen not functioning. He quickly diagnosed the problem (a breaker that needed replacing) and got it fixed up. He was a total life saver for our office! Definitely would recommend him and Handyman Heroes.

Oswaldo is awesome!! My power went out in part of my house because my kid turned on 2 of our portable heaters in the house during our game of hide and seek before bed. I checked all the switches in the fuse box, but no luck. I submitted a quote to electricians and a several responded back asking for more information. Once I provided them information, they said they are willing to come tonight or first thing tomorrow and wanted to charge me $200 just for diagnosis. I felt like that was too much. So, I submitted a quote to OG Electric since the response time is estimated within 30 minutes. With my luck, he responded less than 30 minutes to call him to get more information about then issue. He asked what steps I tried doing and asked me to try another thing and the power came back on. He definitely not only saved me money and saved himself a trip, but made my kid a happy camper. Thanks Oswaldo!!!

I was able to get Mario through Yelp, he answered almost immediately, was able to fix the light switch issue and his fee was reasonable.  
I will call Carranza Electric for any future needs!!

After all that Byington did show up. They did finish the work. They did a great job. They are great guys but they are over worked and take on too much work. They can't give the great customer service they used to give.
