My wife and I have called Eleney Electric and Fearghal the owner has come to the rescue everything. Whether for a total redo of interior lighting with complicated track systems or major electrical box issues, he had been excellent, prompt, and provides high value. Sometimes he can diagnose simple problems over the phone and doesn't even have to come in person, all with a great demeanor! Love him!

I cannot say enough good things about Natalie at Valencia Electric.  We exchanged emails about my project and she gave me a tentative email quote.  This was great as it gave me a ball park of what to expect price-wise.  I did shop around a bit and decided to go with her.  She wasn't the cheapest and she wasn't the most expensive bid I received.  I'm so glad I chose Valencia Electric to install a 20 amp circuit, switches, and wiring to my new bathroom exhaust/heater fan.  She was prompt, super polite, was COVID safe (she even wore booties over her shoes), meticulous in her work, and very, very clean.  All things I love in a contractor.  If you're looking for a great electrician, call Valencia Electric.  I will definitely be using her again.

It always feels good to support local businesses, but it's especially rewarding to support ones that are just getting started. When I went on Yelp looking for an electrician, Estiben and Brains Automation Homes didn't even have any reviews yet! It's always a little risky to go with a business with no reviews, but something told me Estiben knew what he was doing, and I can definitely say I made a good choice in selecting him for my home project.

I had been wanting to replace the old and ugly outlets and switches in my home, and decided to get a few quotes just to see what I would be getting myself into. Brains Automation Homes offered a competitive estimate and got the job done exactly as I had requested and quickly (I was able to schedule an appointment the same week I started looking for an electrician). It turns out Estiben is a one-man show breaking out on his own and trying to build up his business (hence, not many reviews). He's licensed, competent, and friendly. He knew exactly what I was talking about when I mentioned I might want to replace an outlet with one that had USB ports. As the business name indicates, Brains Automation Homes has experience with hooking up smart homes, so you know Estiben is knowledgeable about some of the latest tech.

For my project, Estiben arrived on time, was very polite, got the job done well, and cleaned up after himself. In all, he replaced two regular outlets, two outlet-switch combinations with GFCI, two double light switches, two single light switches, and a three-switch contraption in the bathroom that connects to the light, the fan, and a heater. The bathroom switch was a late add-on (I thought it might be too complicated), but Estiben had all the necessary parts, so he was able to take care of it then and there.

I have a few more electrical projects in mind, and I won't hesitate to contact Brains Automation Homes when the time comes.

Incredibly responsive with accurate and fair priced quote. The electrician came on time. Did great install and was very flexible even with our indecisiveness.  

Hard to ask for more out of a local business

I thought I had three outlets that did not work; it turned out to be four. I suspect that they had been out for quite a while. I thought the problem was with my blow dryers, so I just let my hair dry on its own. I never expected it could be my wiring. I went to several outlets and decided to call an electrician when none worked. The referral my neighbor gave me for a company he uses could only come out for a few days. I checked Yelp for electricians near me and Jamie's Power was top on the list. He had great reviews, although none from anyone I know. I read the other reviews these people wrote and they seemed like honest reviews.

Jamie came out the next day and replaced a GFCI, outlet and then the others worked. I was excited and I tried all the other formally dead outlets, they worked. but the prongs on the plugs came out hot. I called Jamie back and he came out and replaced them

This company is knowledgeable, reasonably priced, prompt, and friendly. He does not take credit cards, English is not easy for him. Neither of these will keep me from calling him again.

Reyff came out and provided a bid for a generator installation project. First of all, their bid was at least 25% higher than two other bids and that did not include any gas line plumbing needed. If you want a 'one stop shop' AND a best price, look elsewhere.

Quick response: I requested a service call one afternoon and BV sent two smart clean-cut guys my way at 10 am the next day.

Quality work: No fussing around. They replaced a single circuit to my laundry closet with separate circuits and outlets for the washer and dryer, replacing the old wire with brand new. The conduit was attached to the outside of my house.

Office staff: The office manager offered me an excellent price for the job.

I was so grateful for this great service.

I used yelp to get quotes from several electricians to install a west elm chandelier light and David's response was the quickest and had the most reasonable rate. David was also super understanding when I had to reschedule last minute. Most important though, he did SUCH an amazing job! I absolutely love the new light and David even helped me decide the right lengths for the different bulbs. Highly recommend!!!

I contacted split electric after an previously scheduled electrician failed to show.  I needed an electrician to check out my electrical box to my pool equipment.  The  electrical box seemed to be going through electronic timers rapidly, so I realized it must be a bigger problem at hand besides maybe faulty equipment.  I gave Ed a call late morning and he had it all sorted out by early afternoon. He was very responsive and friendly and even offered to install my new timer yet again without having to contact my pool company to do it. Awesome guy, definitely will recommend him to others and use him in the future.

I received two separate referrals to Boyes from  friends of mine, so I contacted them to upgrade my service and install a new electrical panel.

The whole process has been flawless and executed very professionally - the person I was in contact with, Sal, answered all my questions, provided me with information to make decisions, handed me an easy to follow quote, and was super friendly as well as knowledgable. They did not try to upsell me on anything (I was initially inquiring about a much larger panel than I need and they told me straight up it's not a good use of my money and unnecessary for my house). Everything happened on the timeline they provided me with, at they dates they said it would. The work is high quality - they know what they're doing. They also made sure to keep everything nice and clean, like they weren't even here.

Would absolutely be using them again for future electrical projects. Thank you Sal and the rest of the Boyes team!

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!

My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.

We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.

Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Michael came to my home to give me an estimate on changing out all of the electrical outlets in my home, recess lights, and outside security lights.  He was very friendly but more importantly he is professional and knowledgable in his field.  These days it is hard to find these three qualities in a person.  I am very happy with his work.  He also stands by his word.  I thought something was wrong with one of the outlets, turns out it was my fault, he had no problem returning and checking out that problem to make sure my home was safe.  I will be using Michael as my electrician.  Helen Robinson

I had an electrical outlet that burned and was worried about having it fixed. Luckily, I came across JMO electric and decided to call as it was suggested by one of the home advisor apps. I am very happy that I chose to go with JMO electric. Javier, the owner, was prompt, very responsive, and professional. He explained the work he was doing, had a very fair price, and even provided some information as to why this may have occurred. It put my family at ease to understand the work that was being done. During these times of COVID-19, he made sure to practice proper use of PPE, etc. Overall, the work he provided was excellent, clean, and was completed in a timely manner. I have used Bay Area Construction & Remodeling multiple times now. They have done fantastic work and I would highly recommend them, their work is done to a very high standard and their employees are super friendly and accomodating.

We have a partial power outage in our house.  Alex came within 30 minutes, and correctly diagnosed the problem.  He also came in and installed a part on our roof needed to hold the wires securely.  The service was prompt, the prive was reasonable, and communications were clear.  Great service and I would recommend Alex to others.

Ross did excellent work for us.  He arrived on time as scheduled. He diagnosed a flickering light problem for us as defective dimmer switches and changed them out. He installed a ceiling fan and a pendant light quickly and efficiently. We would definitely use his services again; perhaps when we change out our older style recessed lights.

Made an appointment for an estimate.  Never showed up.  I get that it's a busy time, but it doesn't show professionalism or reliability when a business doesn't show up or call to apologize and reschedule.  I guess they didn't want my business!

My neighbor recommended Four Square since they got their NEMA hooked up for their Tesla. My home was already EV ready so the work should be easy to add the outlet and circuit breaker. Prior I called many electricians on craigslist and yelp in which I got so many various quotes. My wife contacted Noah and he requested for a picture of the breaker box. Immediately he emailed a quote and the price was the best with less work. The only hiccup was finding a certain circuit breaker but I was able to find it myself.

The install and work was super fast. We spent more time talking about the work and tips on charging a Tesla. I highly recommend Four Square.
