Alex came to help us install some new lights, and replace some of the old electrical sockets.  He was really excellent and we highly recommend iPowerSF.

I have been using Fearghal for my electrical work for the past few years.  He is very fast, reasonably priced, and also a super friendly, helpful guy.  On one visit, I swear he knocked about 7 items off of my to-do list in about an hour, from hanging a heavy chandelier single-handedly to figuring out why a light, doorbell, etc didn't work and fixing them.  And the last time I saw him, I spotted a leak, and he diagnosed it and was able to get a tile guy to my house ASAP and fix it over a holiday weekend -- not usually in an electrician's job description, but that's the kind of guy he is.  Total lifesaver.

Recommended by Cole Hardware, John found the source of my problem very quickly.  He explains the problem and I did not have to wait too long before he showed at my front door.  It is difficult to determine the cost for services, especially in San Francisco;  He is a competent electrician.

Natalie mounted a TV and sound bar in my living room today.  She did a fantastic job!  I am super happy with her work.  Not only is her work superb but she is extremely friendly and professional.  I will definitely be calling her for a TV I want mounted in my bedroom as well as a light fixture I want changed.

We needed a 240 V EV plug installed.  I think the tech's name was Martin (Jan 21 at 8 am).  He explained everything and my engineer boyfriend said Martin knew his stuff.  The work was done quickly and neatly and the plug is working great.  Would definitely use them again.

Jamie is confident and knowledgeable about how to deal with electrical problems. He's somewhat challenged with his English skills, but he is smart and willing to work with his clients. I needed to make one more change on the electrical work he did, and we agreed to a fair rate, and he's coming back to do that electrical work for me... I would recommend Jamie for your electrical needs.

Writing on behalf of my mom - she had a full floor total loss of power, including her heat, in the middle of the afternoon in the winter and called BV. The owner himself came over in between jobs given the emergency situation and examined the situation quickly, explained everything he was doing, and fixed it that same afternoon. Very friendly, fast, knowledgeable service. Highly recommend!!

We had a couple of circuits that would lose power but the circuit breakers had not popped. We called David and he managed to get by the same day to look at the situation. He could not find any problem with the circuit breakers or the panel, so he checked the PGE panel with the meter. He found that the panel was badly corroded due to the fog we have here constantly. He gave me an estimate for replacing the panel, which seemed reasonable. He scheduled the permit, inspector, and PG&E to be involved in the replacement. On the day scheduled, he showed up on time, completed his part in time for the inspector and PG&E to approve and reconnect the service ahead of his originally estimated time. He also built a wooden box around the panel to protect it from the fog to delay corrosion in the future. He cleaned up thoroughly after the work was done. David is very easy to work with and knowledgeable of what needs to be done.

Very professional. Called for an emergency issue. They were booked up for two weeks but were friendly and helpfully made a referral to someone else who might be able to help.

I had to have an EV Charging station installed quickly and within my budget.  I did my research and found Split Electric thru Yelp.  They were quick to provide me a solid quote and I found it convenient that I only had to do a facetime call to show the area.  The install took around 3 hours to run about 50ft of wires from the panel and after the work he made sure to clean the area of any sharp items or dust.  Will definitely have them on my quick call list for any electrical work needed.  Thanks.

Brought in Boyes for a whole-house rewiring project.  Really enjoyed working with everyone on their team- from the initial estimate to conclusion of city inspection, everyone was friendly, approachable, hard working, and communicative. My story of Anthony is amazing. I had purchased a fixture from Lamps Plus that got overly hot and burned up, despite using a lower than rated light bulb for it. The smell of burning plastic was really upsetting to me and my pregnant dog. When the fire alarm went off, neighbors called 911, and the fire department said the fixture was a hazard and some of the wiring in my house wan't up to code.

About a week later then comes Anthony and crew. He was so incredibly friendly, funny and thorough. He worked with the city inspectors very courteously to get my place up to code and to ensure no fires would ever break out again.

What's more, as he was leaving- I kid you not, I couldn't make this stuff up if I tried- my dog went into labor and he helped deliver 6 puppies.

If there was a sixth, or even seventh star that yelp would allow for, Anthony deserves it. He's very reasonably priced for the services he provides- and way cheaper than a vet!

RB Electric is a wonderful family electrical business - hire them!

My husband and I are remodeling our kitchen and we needed all new electrical. Our house is very old, from 1926 so it's cloth and tube.

We spoke with several companies and decided to go with RB Electic. The owner, Rigo, came out and walked us through what we needed. He is a pleasure to work with - clearly an expert at his craft and eager to provide a really good experience for us. We found his prices to be reasonable given the complexity of the work.

Rigo and his crew showed up on time and were ready to get started. Our job took an entire day and he had all of the materials (boxes, switches, etc) ready to go with him. They removed all of the old electrical and replaced it with new wiring and the correct boxes for the oven and fan hood. They worked very hard all day long and ask me a few questions along the way to make sure it was exactly what I wanted.

I've dealt with a lot of contractors over the years. Rigo and his crew are by far the best electricians I've ever worked with and we'll be hiring them again in the future. I highly recommend getting a quote from RB Electric and considering them for your electrical needs.

Michael fixed a faulty outlet for me the same day I contacted him.  Recently a socket in my house sparked when I put a plug in it.  My regular maintenance person (Richard Peltzman of RMS Maintenance Services) who has helped me enormously over the years, recommended the electrician, Michael Fairholm, with whom he's had excellent experiences in the past.  Michael was easy to reach!!  He uses both phone and email and I sent him an email.  He responded promptly (within less than one hour of sending the email) and even took the time to tell me in a phone message that he'd responded by email.  As it turned out, his response had gone into my spam, so it was good that he let me know about his email.  He came by and fixed the outlet later that the same day, so I didn't have to worry about a faulty outlet in my home.  He explained everything as he was fixing it, and gave a very fair price for the work. He provided a clear estimate before doing the work, and emailed a receipt for the work before he left.  He was very efficient, knowledgeable and capable.  I would certainly hire him again for any electrical work and highly recommend him.

I love working with contractors like Yevgeny.  I was initially impressed with how he went out of his way to coordinate with my busy schedule.  Once he was here, he quickly and carefully took care of my tasks in the time estimated, and, helped me sort out a few other things to boot.  All the while, he was happy to educate me along the way and share his knowledge on all the work he was performing, along with a number of other questions I had as well.  I would not hesitate to hire Yevgeny again should the need arise.  Thank you!
