Best System Maintenance in Philadelphia PA
Artisan Home Services was referred to us by a competitor with a 5 star Yelp rating. He didn't have the capacity to assist us but said that the owner of Artisan, Mike, had a great reputation in our area. I called the number he gave us and Mike answered immediately. Our water heater had broken and was leaking. Using Facetime, Mike helped us to safely turn off the water and gas. He made arrangements for someone to be at our home first thing in the AM to swap it out. Our plumber, Brett, arrived ontime and already had the new water heater with him. While Brett and other staff were here, we asked about a long list of other plumbing issues that needed some attention and they said that they could extend this service call and just handle all of them. We had faucets, hose bibs, and the water heater all replaced or repaired. Additionally, they extended a water line and moved a valve to a place that was far more accessible for seniors. Everyone with whom we worked was polite and accomodating, respecting our request for social distancing. We need only ask a question and it was handled. We could not be more pleased with the service and the pricing. Great company, great staff, and great owner !

We were referred to Main Line Electrical from another contractor that was working on a complete renovation of our bar/restaurant, we had several complicated electrical issues and Travis handled them with great efficiency and professionalism. We would highly recommend Travis and Main Line Electrical.

I am so annoyed with this company! Twice on his advertisement it says free estimate with no specificity on the type of order. I am in the maintenance business and that is very common. I contacted him to give me an advertised free estimate on my faulty outlet in my garage. We were in the process of making arrangements when he informed me there would be a $95.00 service fee to come out that would be waived if I accepted his bid. My electrical contractors in this area charge $75.00 an hour in my business. I asked why his estimate was not free and I would like to share his verbatim arrogant response with you:
I do free estimates. But you're (misspelled) job is not Estimate it's a troubleshooting. No one is going to come out to do that for your for free for sure. The estimate is when you want to add something like if you had no outlet in the garage and you wanted to add one yes that's called an estimate when we come out and tell you how much it's going to cost to add one. But you have a non working outlet where we need to come out and troubleshoot it and fix it. If you can find a Company that come out to you and do troubleshoot that for you for free reach out to me I will give you $50 gift card promise.
WHAT???!!! How disrespectful and arrogant can you get? Free estimate applies to new work and trouble shooting as well. In my world you check the issue and advise how much it will cost to fix the issue. Then the homeowner decides what to do from there. Be VERY careful with these people. One contact an hour long and I can see the dishonesty a million miles away...

Way over Priced. $5,000 to $8,000 just to to run electric to an above ground pool. No thanks, I'll keep looking.
