Service scheduling was not only quick (they even had same day available) but flexible. The scheduling window was narrow -- they did not make me block out a 12 hour window during which they might arrive, but booked and arrived within a 30-minute window.
Technician was clean, friendly, personable, and efficient. Work was quick and well done. Happy with the service, they will be my first choice for future electrical work.

I sat on this review for a bit to ensure I had my final thoughts.
I used Coolray for plumbing and electrical issues. They wouldn't give me a quote by phone or online for basic services (even a ballpark), instead insisting on looking first. To look (for plumbing) they had to get things taken apart ensuring you're pretty much going to go ahead and pay whatever to resolve the issue. We initially called for one plumbing issue, they fixed it (for a steep price) and the plumber was friendly. Said plumber also took a look at another issue I had as I mentioned it off-hand, and said it was fixed but it resumed to its completely broken ways as soon as he left. Can't complain too much there as he didn't charge and thought he had resolved it (plus noone else has been able to fix this issue either). To get a price that wasn't as bonkers high he encouraged us to join their Customer Care loyalty group (for a price). I did. It was still really high, but I was never billed for that customer care thing so I'm assuming it was lost somewhere along the way.
Called Coolray again for electrical issues. Had been working with another local electrician who were at the moment not responsive. Coolray was super responsive and out quickly. They fixed part of what we paid them to fix, but there was some misunderstanding. We pointed out a light that was arcing and causing issues. Both lights behind a panel needed replacing as wiring for both switches was frayed. They only replaced one of these two switches, which means they took the panel off, saw the fraying, and only replaced one of them. I realized this was so when I got home and turned on the assumed fix light only to see flickering and hear a pop. Called Coolray to see if they could fix this issue which we thought we'd already paid for, and they said they had only charged us for one of the two switches and quoted us a remarkably high price to come out (including a service fee for making the drive at all) and fix the additional switch. We went with another electrician for half the price.
So--solid work for the most part if some miscommunication, high even for the market area.

Same day appointment to fix my A/C after the power surges. Efficient, friendly, and professional. I recommend getting a home maintenance plan with them.

Not pleased with unresolved plumbing issue. Paid for service but problem still exists. Did nothing more than run an auger down pipe and then swipe credit card. Gotta say I'm unimpressed., can't recommend Lee Company to anyone and will need to find a real plumber.

I can't really say how their work was because the technician never called me to schedule an appointment, even after two attempts on my part.

The reason that I gave Lee Company one star is because I had to give them at least one star. The people that I dealt with at Lee were at best unethical and at worst most likely guilty of fraudulent business practices (I am not a lawyer, but that is my opinion). When I helped my sons and his wife purchase a home, they were provided two free checkups for the first year by the Lee Company. I thought 'what a wonderful bonus.' Lee came out to checkout our upstairs and downstairs units.
The technician seemed to represent his company and himself well. After 30 minutes or so, he told me that the upstairs unit needed to be replaced and that he had turned it off since it could be releasing carbon monoxide fumes which could be deadly to my son, his wife and two month old daughter. The solution was to replace an $864 part and a $280 part. He said that if he were me, that the unit should be replaced. He asked if he could send out an a man to give me a price on a new unit. The man promptly arrived (He must have been in the neighborhood.) and stated that he could me an estimate on the upstairs unit (approximately $6500 to $9300) by email later that evening. He told my that my downstairs unit might last a little longer. I, of course, could turn the unit on but they could not be responsible for anything that might happen (before the unit was replaced or the necessary repairs were made (approximately $1350). (Did I say that the overnight temperature was going to be in the teens?)
I called the man who has been servicing my (and both of my sons, my mother and my mother-in-law) HVAC needs for the past nine years. My son's family spent the night at our house that night (for safety reasons). Our HVAC man came out the next day and gave me a second opinion. The two ignition switches (I think they were called) were $18.24 each (not $280 each and took 5 or 6 minutes each to replace). The $864 piece did not not to be replaced, but I asked him to do so for my peace of mind. The total price was less than $435.
This event took place in January of this year. I have experienced no additional problems with either HVAC unit this year and it is almost September.
Let me urge you to get a second opinion if you are going to call Lee Company. When someone offers to overcharge you, that is a little problem. When they say they turned the heating unit off because they were concerned about carbon monoxide poisoning for your family, they are just lying. Now, Lee has called to give us another free checkup. That is not going to happen.
Buyer Beware!!! I surely will not be using or recommending Lee Company at any time in the future. You have to make up your mind for yourself, but again I say, Buyer Beware!

We are a long term customer of Lee Company.
We have spent thousands of dollars with them. New AC unit, water pump, service fees, etc.
We recently called them because we are interested in connecting our emergency generator to the house.
To come and give us an estimate they charge us a $75 dispatch fee
When I tell them I don't think I should pay that for them giving me an estimate, they say that for small jobs this is the policy. That if a project manager had come we would not have to pay that fee. The thing is that they are the ones who decide who to send.
On top of all that, it turned out this is a 4K job and a project manager has to come and give the exact estimate. When I say, so now that this is a big job with a project manager, can you please wave the dispatch fee. They say they can't do that
This is a racket.

first the good:
provided a very clear quote with the work and service involved. we were given details on the equipment and parts to be installed
when some issues with the electrical came up, they found solutions and got it to work without added charges
the installers and then the electricians who came were super nice and professional, staying a lot later than expected
the neutral:
they are rather expensive, even compared to prices/quotes I got for my properties in Boston (generally speaking Boston is about 30% more expensive than nashville on average, and even more when you factor in boonies). but, they felt solid enough
I am not a fan of Gov Lee at all and if not for florida and texas would say he's the worst governor in the entire country. I know he's no longer afiliated with the lee company, but it is his family's business and i'm sure he still has a lot of $$ interests, etc.
the negatives:
the electrician folks had to come a day or two later to do the wiring correctly, but they had no information at all related to what the installers did, and then they ended up ripping it all out and redoing it, which is just an awful lot of extra time and hassle, and as a result we lost the very last open slot in our electric panel. a small thing but the electricians kept repeatedly asking me technical questions that I would have assumed should be handled between them and the installers as they are all employees of Lee.
they wouldnt really even look at or help with any of the ductwork and randomly threw out a quote of $7k to completely redo it all--it just had some unattached ducts and mediocre settings for the airflow (too much to some spaces, too little elsewhere). An hvac professional could have gone in and adjusted it all in less than an hour with less than $100 in material. I did it myself with some trial and error and help from a family friend over the phone (hvac pro, but over 1000 miles away) so we got it done, just took me the better part of a day plus a couple return trips to the crawlspace. I would have paid $400-500ish for them to do the work, but I can also respect if it's not part of their general wheelhouse. I'm including that in the negative solely because their website implies they would do this sort of work as well. In boston, I had a few indepentent hvac guys I could have called and woud have shown up and taken care of it quickly and easily for under $200. But, we're new to TN and dont have a super trustworthy network of people yet.
Overall, happy with the job done and the system works well. In the future, I'll likely purchase equipment myself and just hiring an electrician. But, if its for something complicated and/or involving a lot of moving parts and I'm pressed for time as well, I won't hesitate to use them again. I'll add some photos soon! 2 months or so later and the system works really well.

I am a property manager in the Davidson County area. Over Christmas, due to the extreme temperatures, I had 4 emergency situations on water breaks. I made 4 different calls to Lee Company for emergency service (as my regular plumber was away for the holidays). As of January 5th, I have yet to receive a call back for even one service call that I requested. Obviously, I have resolved each of my problems with absolutely no help from Lee Company. If they were too busy, they should have a least responded to my call and let me know. I'm not sure why they even have an emergency 24 hour service line if they never follow up with customers. Will not be calling them again.
