I hired David Electric to review my wiring for a fan control switch that I could not get to work.  They responded quickly and for a fair price inspected my work and found no fault and then trouble shooted to verify a defective fan board inside the fan that would not allow the fan to work.  For an avid DIYer I was grateful for a piece of mind and confirmation of my work.  I would definitely call them again!

I had a Groupon for electrical services; so going in the price point was a bargain. In terms of pricing, they use a fixed rate sheet for everything thing they do. I think this decreases the chance for pricing tom foolery.

I have a home that was originally built in 1920. This can make getting repairs or remodeling dicey at best because you don't know what hidden shenanigans you can find hidden behind the plaster. I had a kitchen ceiling fan that was hanging from its wires replaced. When I ordered the service call, the owner made me aware of the potential issues that could elevate the cost. (I loved that.)

A two man team arrived promptly as promised. They were clean, professional and courteous. After explaining both the necessary procedures and giving a quote, they made the necessary repairs and installed the new unit in under 45 minutes. The price came in at the cost of the quote and they worked neatly. There were no surprises.

This company is AMAZING. We always have Jeremy and his apprentice come out to work on our home. We've recommended him many times and all our friends have had great experiences as well. Jeremy knows all things electrical. He has done all the recessed lighting in our home, added fans, changed fixtures and fixed one of our circuits. He and his apprentice are professional, kind, smart, clean, quick, all the things a contractor should be. No need to look elsewhere! Also, their customer service is wonderful.

These gentlemen were wonderful! They came out on a Thursday evening to give us a quote, and we're back Saturday afternoon to do the job of installing an additional outlet in the garage. They were very thorough on the planning, and the checked a couple times to make sure they were doing what we wanted. They were very well priced, courteous, quick with their work, and cleaned up after themselves. We will definitely use them again for future electrical projects.

I called Branch Electric after waiting weeks for another electrician to call us back.  I am so happy that I did.  Noah got back with us right away and his quote came in under that of the other company.  They were able to get us scheduled for the work within a reasonable time and even worked late that night to get it all done in less time than we originally thought.  
He also changed out a dimmer switch that was not part of our quote for no additional fee.  I would and will recommend him to friends and family that need any electrical work in the future.

The technician from Artisan arrived on time and did the repair on a timely fashion. Will definitely use again. Highly recommend.

We had a great experience with D Davis Electric. Douglas got ahold of us promptly and was available to do our work right away. He was prompt and gave us great information about our problem. His rates were reasonable. We would definitely use him again.

I needed to have my solar system serviced because four of my panels were not producing any power. After speaking with my regular electrician, they suggested Jefferson Electric for the job. It took about 4 weeks to get a call back from Jefferson Electric to set up an appointment for them to come out and look at my system, but in late October I finally got one of their workmen, Matt, to come out and look at it. Matt was informed by my solar monitoring company that two of my micro inverters were defective and needed to be replaced. I asked how much this was going to cost right then and there and was told, IDK, but when I asked later, he said it was completely covered under warranty and would be free. Matt replaced the inverters 10 days later, and we parted ways without him informing me that I would be expecting any type of invoice, while still informing me that I was covered under warranty. However, three days after service, I received an invoice from Jefferson Electric for $768.00. Perplexed, I contacted them, and a one Philip Field informed me that I had been misled and that they were sorry for the misunderstanding and asked if I would be willing to pay half. I informed Mr. Field that I would not pay because I was under no contractual obligation to do so, and he said okay, I will cancel the invoice. I considered the matter closed until I received a call from the company's owner, Joel Walsman, who basically tried to tell me over the phone that Philip didn't have the authority to dissolve the invoice and that he wanted me to pay something, to which I replied that I might feel comfortable paying for the two service calls totaling $120. Nonetheless, Mr. Walsman seemed bothered by the amount and attempted to counter with $250, which I declined, and he threw a hissy fit on the phone, claiming that I didn't know the business and that he would refuse service in the future, at which point I told him the conversation was over. They do good work, but get a quote from them before doing business with them.

I have used Captain FIx-It for 3 projects in my house. Kit is the best. On time, and not many company's out there like his.

We were in a bit of a pinch once the weather started turning colder. Went to fire up the old furnace and nothing. Of course this was discovered after hours and we struggled to get anyone who could come out in a timely matter.After working our way down the list we were able to get appointment with Godby for first thing the next morning. The technician called to confirm he was on the way and was very professional we he arrived.

Our technician was also very knowledgeable and good about explaining things in a way that was understandable and had us back up and running in no time.

We had Ed out today to install a very large light fixture in our two-story great room. He arrived on time, did a good job getting the fixture up and charged the amount of the estimate. Overall we were very satisfied with the work that Ed did and will look to use him again in the future if we have any other electrical needs.

The only electricians I use in Indianapolis. PHENOMENAL guys, with an excellent business practice. My husband and I bought a fixer house as our "starter home" and got ourselves in over our heads.  Gerald came out with one of his guys and they patiently explained my options for getting things fixed, and were even gracious enough to start a project that they will eventually have to come back for (we've since decided to scrap the whole bathroom - so after that remodel I'll likely post again!)

A+++++++ rating and will use this company until they all retire!

"Turn out the lights" Burtner Electric. Unprofessional, unresponsive--an organization in steep decline.

Burtner used to be a 1st Class and highly responsive organization. Not anymore.

A Burtner employee (licensed electrician??) ) is the only service provider of any type who has ever used the "F-bomb" with me and on my own property. Thankfully, we had several security cameras operating at the time. You might not be as fortunate.

Neither David Burtner nor anyone on his team has followed-up to learn more about this crazy incident or to apologize.

Buyer beware.

Mr Quick took care of our Spring A/C tune up. Ben T was courteous and professional. He waited outside while I ran to pick up my 14 year old from summer P.E. This was mostly their fault as the work was supposed to be completed between 8am - Noon and He was not able to get to my house until 11:55am. Still, he was pleasant enough about it. Next time you might check before using OUR extra furnace filter to change the filter mid month. We just changed it on the 1st like we do each month and no, it was not that dirty.
