Danny at Dylco Electric is the BEST! Not only is he a great electrician, but he's also just a nice guy. Their customer service is incredible too. If you're looking for an electrician, I would highly recommend giving him a call.

SIDE NOTE: We recently had him update our internet/wifi which we were constantly having issues with. We have Comcast and I just assumed there was no hope for improvement, but after speaking with Danny, we decided to update some of our equipment. Our Internet has never been more consistent or faster. It's definitely worth a call if you are frustrated with your current wifi connections.

We had an estimate appointment Friday, and when we agree to the price he would come the next day. Since the outlet installation was simple,  they did it the same day. The price is reasonable, the other company quoted me 8x more. They did it in less than 30 min. Thank you Shannon and company. I'll use you again for future work and I will recommend you to my friends.

Handled the issue quickly, I was able to come out in less than 24 hours.  Will definitely use again.

Highly recommend!  James may specialize in lighting but he did several non lighting projects for us with a very tight time frame.  Pricing was very reasonable as well.  We will be using Ace for any future electrical needs.

If you want it done right the first time, go somewhere else.

Beeson installed my central air conditioning unit in 2020. I've had issues with it leaking refrigerant every year since. This spring I was told they would no longer warranty their work, so I'm going to have to spend thousands to have another HVAC contractor chase the leak in the system.

I called Tony and he was able to come out next-day to fit some new outlets into my garage. The quote he gave me over the phone was several hundred dollars less than what he ended up charging me, but I was pleased with the work he did and that he was willing to stay pretty late on a Friday night to get it done. Overall good experience.

A little over a year ago in November of 2017 I was negotiating to purchase my house on 17th Avenue in Beech Grove. The property was built in 1918 and was in 2017 owned by William Croasmun Jr.

During the requisite home inspection my home inspector expressed concerns about the remaining live knob and tube wiring in the home. Croasmun advised me to contact the electrician who had done work on the house and who also, I was naively pleased to learn, was electrical inspector for the city of Beech Grove. I spoke to Mr. Mike Hughes on the phone. In addition to being unpleasant and condescending, he scoffed at the concerns of the home inspector and told me in sarcastic tones that anyone who purchases an older home should expect knob and tube wiring and it is not necessary to do anything about this.  A year later and a little wiser and having spoken to other area electricians and experts, of course I realize that this is not the case. I also realize, in hindsight, that Mr. Hughes was colluding with seller Croasmun so that Croasmun would not be obligated to make any electrical improvements.  

I am not naive enough to believe that every electrician I encounter will be honest and ethical, however I do not believe that a dishonest and manipulative electrician like Mike Hughes should be an inspector for the city of Beech Grove (or any government organization). I will be pursuing this with the Better Business Bureau and any other agencies that I think might be in a position to protect the interests of future Indianapolis home buyers"

Robert Poteet , (has NO HVAC LICENSE or PLUMBING license.  Robert is a  liar who will take your money and then never return your calls once he has it.
After calling him out to our home and giving him money to repair our system,  I found out he intentionally damaged our HVAC system in the hopes of selling and installing a new unit we did not even need , and charging us thousands of dollars . I verified this thru a licensed reputable contract who showed me exactly what he did to damage our system .  While Robert Poteet lied and said our system was "shot"- the company that exposed him had us back up and running IN A MATTER OF 20 MINUTES that same day .   Check out Robert Poteet's legal problems for lying and attempting to steal money on the mycase.indiana website.  He's ripped off plenty of people . Avoid being one of them.
Avoid this sorry sack of garbage.

Let me start by saying that I have never actually used this company, and here is why: I called to get information about their services and whoever answered the phone simply said, "Hello" (no mention of a company name). I ask is this Cloyd Construction, to which the answer is a rude "Yes, who is this, what do you want?" At this point I decided that I would not be referring this company to my clients in Indianapolis. Extremely rude and completely turned me off to the company within the first 30 seconds.
