Nick was able to come the next day! He was honest about what we did need (new seal) and didn't (new flange or new toilet); furthermore, he could have charged us for extras as well and didn't, such as fixing our handle. He also gave us new caps and cleaned up the remaining blue stain. I had scrubbed and it was not budging much. Yet he got the remaining stain cleaned up with magical ease!! To me, honesty and customer service are truly important. We will use again if needed, and we highly recommend!!

Not a happy customer because I don't like when plumbers waste my time or TRY to charge 2x more than other local plumbers in the area.

First, they are not on time, I first used them last week and scheduled them again for today. Both times two separate plumbers were both late. No one will call you to let you know they are running behind, they just assume you have nothing else to do but wait for them. Their time is more valuable than your time :)

I called them 2-3 times each appointment to find out the arrival time.

Today the second plumber shows up and he gets out of his van in a hurry, he tells me he doesn't have much time because he has other jobs. Off to a great start.

I told the receptionist two days ago that the faucet in my tub has a constant drip, every 2 seconds. I need this to stop.  I also told him I have a new kitchen sink and faucet that I want installed. The stuff under the sink is old and needs to be changed too. He seems to understand, we schedule the repair and install for today

This plumber shows up and has no idea what he's doing here. He says he can't fix the drip today he just came to see it. I got upset because I scheduled this appointment to fix it! Then his boss tells him just give her a high price, if she wants it changed same day if not then fine.
He was on speaker, using my phone! He plumber says $350.

I'm shocked and offended!!

I called 5 others plumbers and they quoted me $125-140 to fix the cartridge that's causing the faucet to leak.

Then there's the kitchen sink. The plumber wouldn't even look at my new sink and faucet. He said to hire a handyman for this job. Well, if you would have told me over the phone I would have!

If you hire them you're probably overpaying.
First plumber Harry was nice, hire him directly and save yourself from dealing with plumbers who careless and charge 2x more.

So due to a conversation I had with Denise at My Local Plumber this morning, I am so incredibly disappointed and flabbergasted. Prior to today, my review would have been 5 stars. The only reason it is not 1 star as I review this company for the first time is because we have used them for past work, it was done without any issue, and customer service was great. The low rating is due to the customer service experience and decision today from the company to cease offering any future services to our family. We can easily find a reputable local plumbing company, yes, but it is just more disappointing that a company we have used multiple times in the past, that we have remained up-to-date on paying all invoices/bills, has chosen to stop providing services to us because we are difficult customers.

I called Denise this morning to try to understand their position and to get on the same page with their perspective, but could not make sense of where they were coming from. There were SEVERAL points made as to why they were refusing future service to us. Out of these multiple reasons, I could definitely understand and relate to one of them, which is a big inconvenience for businesses. It was due to a miscommunication between my wife and I --- and I was hoping they would understand that, would have billed us for it (which they did not), and know that it was a mistake/miscommunication issue that does happy occasionally. I had scheduled for them to come out to look at a leak issue but when they arrived on-site to assess the issue (less than 30 mins total), my wife had indicated to me that she had scheduled for an irrigation company to do the repair, understanding that the leak was due to a sprinkler issue and not a plumbing issue. I kindly apologized to Reuben and explained the situation, and he went on his way. He did not do any manual labor or have time to pull out any tools. It was simply a visual assessment of the issue. Having said that this was not well handled by my wife and I, and I understand that. We took time out of the day of a worker for the company, a trip charge at minimum, and caused Reuben to re-arrange his schedule to come out to our property. However, we were not told before-hand, during (when Reuben was on-site), or anytime after that we would need to pay or would owe anything for at least a trip charge. Now we are being penalized, in essence, for something we never had any control over. We have paid every bill/invoice that has come across our desk and are now having things that are beyond our control (outside what was mentioned above - which was clearly our fault) being held against us. Things that maybe could have and should have been billed to us were not (that is definitely not our fault and beyond our control) and now that blame is being put on us. I just don't understand the reasoning. If service is being refused because of the isolated incident mentioned above, I wish Denise would have simply said so. This is the sole reason we are choosing not to work with you again - because you forced us to mess up our schedule for that particular day and it was a disrespectful way you handled scheduling with us. But that was far from the only reason she brought up. Also, we would have willingly, without question, paid for a trip charge to cover the inconvenience, but again, that was never discussed before, during, or after the fact.

Without going deeper into the weeds on the conversation and issue, and based on my overall experience with this company, heavily weighting my review based on my customer service issue and call with the company this morning, I would like to encourage others not to use this company. They way they handled our relationship with us (a past/loyal customer that has up-to-date with any outstanding invoices) is unacceptable, disappointing, and very poor.

Denise - if you happen to follow your customer reviews and read this, I will hope that you will fully understand our situation, specifically the miscommunication I had with my wife at the time of Reuben's scheduling, accept our apology for the way that was situation was handled, and reach out to me directly if there is anything else other than that that we are at fault for that we could have controlled. I just did not appreciate how the overall issue was handled with myself and my wife this morning. I was attempting to understand your decision (which I still don't) and to explain any disconnects and issues (which I don't believe were communicated appropriately).

Jamie is awesome!  We had used another plumbing company previously that Jamie worked for.  We needed some extensive work and Jamie was there on the weekend supervising the job.  When we found out that Jamie started his own company, we ended up putting him on speed dial as our home, which was an older home, ended up having multiple plumbing issues.  Jamie has come out at night, on the weekends, early mornings, you name it, he's there!  He is extremely thorough, cleans up after he has completed the job, shows what the problem was and what caused it, and lets you know what to look for should there be any other problems.  He is reasonably priced, no matter when he arrives, takes credit cards, and gives detailed receipts.  We can't think of anyone else we would use.  Please don't ever go out of business, Jamie!!

So far the worst customer service I have experienced in my life. These guys are a total rip off. Big scam.
I had asked for an estimate for sprinkler repair and might have misunderstood/ misheard over phone of their policy of charging $80 just to visit. The technicians came to look at the issue and quoted $575 just to replace two sprinkler heads and fix a broken pipe at a T-section. When I asked them for a coat breakdown for their estimate, they refused to answer and the guy said he is the supervisor and that's the only price they would do it for.  The sprinkler head  that I was looking to replace does not cost more than $20. So, obviously they are either quoting whatever comes to mind or just jacking up costs at their will.
To add to this, the owner lady was very rude over phone and spoke in an extremely threatening manner. Instead of  trying to understand what the issue was and attempt to hear from the customer
, this lady was yelling at me on the phone and said she was going to call the police for theft of service.
Really?? Is this the way how you earn business? They probably have not heard a thing about how to talk to customers. The owner lady said she had my address and phone number and was calling to let me know that she was calling the police on me. I have never seen such pathetic behavior from a business ever!!! I decided that I would pay the inspection fee of $80 but not go ahead and give them my business. At this, the lady yelled again at me saying if I was going to pay by card, they would charge me 4.5% extra as that was the service fee for making card payments. She added that she wouldn't get off the phone until she got her payment. Again, like really??? Where on earth do these guys come with such ridiculous rates? I've worked for banks and I know how these things work!!!
Thankfully, I did find someone to fix my sprinklers at half the cost these guys were charging me. My advice to anyone looking around for sprinkler service/ landscaping is to please do yourself a service by not approaching these guys!!! Atrocious prices and totally appalling  behavior.
Posted below is a pic of a quote I received from another company for the same job ($250) for which these guys were asking $575. Enough said, their whole business ( if that's what they call it) is a scam. Stay miles away from such cheats!!!
