Best Electric Water Heater Installation in Durham NC
Excellent same day service. My well pressure tank switch went out and pipes froze leaving me with no water on Christmas. Ethan from Joseph Rose Plumbing returned my email right away and was at my house a few hours later (The only response I received after calling 10 plumbers).
He inspected all of the plumbing, water pressure tank, and the well and then diagnosed the problem and replaced a burnt out pressure switch. Excellent communication, pricing, and customer service. I highly recommend this young man and Joseph Rose Plumbing.

Our heat randomly stopped working at one of our rental properties so we reached out to Piedmont Metro for help! They had someone out the same day to not only diagnose but also fix the issue super quick! Very affordable & reliable! We'll definitely be using them again in the future!

I had a pipe burst and they were out pretty quickly to repair. While here, I had them look at our water pressure too. They were very accommodating. When there were complications the next day, they were back out quickly (as part of their warranty). I'll continue to use them for plumbing services!
Very responsive. Very helpful. No services are cheap, but the value was reasonable.

Paid a very high price for hot water heater replacement: $2800 cash, no checks allowed, added fee if you use credit card. The new tank is a BW 50 gallon lowboy, no special plumbing or electrical needed to replace it.
Would suggest shopping around, if you have the time.

I used their service several times. Professional service, they changed water heater, installed special toilet and very complicated light fixture. They did a great job. Very happy with their service and will use their service in the future.

Anyone hear of the song, Jim Dandy to the rescue? This is the guy!! For the second time Vincent has made me a VERY happy home owner. Only this time I actually got to meet the man behind the prompt and accurate service. Again, no muss and no fuss AND I got the bad parts in my hand with an explanation and recommendation. Reasonable prices and JOB WELL DONE, VINCENT!!

We developed a kitchen sink clog on Saturday and used Yelp to find a plumber. Raleigh Heating and air responded almost immediately and had the most reasonable prices. Travis and Luis came out on Monday morning to unclog the sink. The townhouse we live in is very old and this isn't the first time we've had a clog the conventional methods couldn't handle. It is however, the first time we've had someone, not only unclog the sink, but also discover the cause and give a fair and accurate estimate for repair. Travis and Luis came out this morning to complete the job, replacing several feet of pipe in the crawl space, and even showed us a large section of pipe that was removed. That pipe was so clogged that that it's almost assured it would need to be professionally unclogged again soon or replaced. Travis and Luis were so professional, knowledgeable and courteous, performing the job well within the time and price estimate. So very pleased the the entire experience!! Would definitely recommend them fir any plumbing needs!! They will definitely be my first call for any problems I have in the future.

Our 20yr old water heater needed to be replaced. Logan from Xprt Plumbing quick response and honest assessment was able to replace our water heater. Very professional, good communication and reasonable pricing got the job done.

Jason Hogg, the technician came out to my house on a Saturday to put in a shower/tub faucet. He had to cap off the pipes so he could come back to do the install on Monday. He scheduled the appointment and told me he would be back on Monday at 10am. I called Monday at 8am to ask for a detailed bill, which by the way they do NOT provide. They told me I didn't have an appointment. Turns out someone didn't do their job I was not on the list. Long story short, no plumber ever came to fix my shower. Cody and Brandon the dispatchers did not follow-up with me to let me know they were late and may not be able to come. Finally at 5:15 I called them back again and was told no one would be coming. And they do NOT schedule a time for arrival for a service call.
The one star is for the amazing ladies who answer the phones!

The technicians that came to fix my kitchen sink faucet were friendly and on time (I called to schedule and they had someone at my house in under two hours!) It was great to read their bios and learn about them - turns out we had some things in common! Both of the guys were very professional but easy to talk to. They recommended an option for a long term fix, which I chose to do after listening to the pros and cons. And the price was great too! I don't normally post reviews but I think these two guys deserve one. Thanks again Quality Service - you've got a customer for life!

7 years ago I purchased two Trane air conditioning packs (external) for my house from BlantonsAir.com for $20,000, this is the third series of visits over the seven years all requiring me to purchase new parts. Today I was told that my condenser coil is leaking and needs to be replaced. The other guy who came by told us it was just low, it just doesn't get low on a closed system unless there's a leak, he refills it. Last night the temperature upstairs was 74 degrees so we called once again. No service fee because we paid for it when Mr. Fillerupper came by the first time. The techs that came out today check and once again it's low (troubleshooting 101), they check and tell me the coil has a hole in it. $2000 more dollars I have to spend, but wait, due to the last guy's incompetence they'll knock off the $500 we spent on Monday. So now the new tally is with my warranty discount and the $500 off (incompetence compensation) is $1600. Just curious is this the normal? Do you think I should pay once again? Is this fair?
UPDATE: They will be installing a new condenser coil free of charge. I spoke with Shawn and he offered to send a tech to fill the freon and install a window unit, both I agreed to now that my upstairs is 78 degrees until the new part comes in. David and Shawn came out and refilled the Freon and are scheduled to come out every three days to refill until the part arrives. If your in any capacity related to maintenance or logistics you understand it's always the part they don't have in stock. Also due to COVID shipments are slowed and that's understandable. Our air unit started making a loud noise so we called our home warranty company. They referred us to Bell Cow. They tell us to turn the unit off until a tech could get here. We did. Guy comes out and says the fan broke off and that's what the noise was. All good right?? Home warranty company tells us the note states there was a slow leak indicating the damage happened prior to the warranty. Crazy....because the tech that came out didn't turn the unit on or hook any gauges or hoses up. Literally took a look and left. So....how do you go from a fan breaking off to a slow leak when you don't even inspect the unit?? Then we called to inquire about the notes and the fact that we were with the tech the whole time and he didn't turn it in or hook anything up....and the person states well I wasn't there. Thanks for that fun fact but that doesn't fix the lie that came with your techs report. By don't worry we got a second opinion and will happily give our business to another company.

Contacted Mr. Rooter to replace the gas line that goes to the grill. They inspected the gas line to the grill and under the house and would not just replace the gas line to the grill and stated they needed to repipe the whole house for a total of $9,000 and change.
Contacted PNG and they inspected the grill pipe and under the house. They said there were no issues with the gas pipe under the house and only the pipe that connects to the grill needs to be replaced. There estimate was $900.
We have used Mr. Rooter in the past and they have done quality work and seemed trustworthy, but after this last experience we will not use them again. Their estimate was grossly overpriced.
