With the drive and the work he only spent a total of 1 hour and twenty minutes for a total of $285. I should have had more work set aside to use the remaining 1 hour and 40 minutes that I had to pay for.

My suggestion is that you have enough work to utilize the time at $95 per hour since you will be paying for a total of 3 hours.
