I wrote a bad review a few days ago regarding my overcharge quote for a Kohler kitchen faucet.  Well, today I received a call from the General Manager, Marcus, and what a very pleasant surprise. He read the review and checked into the price and agreed it was high. With further checking with the tech, he realized that he quoted us the wrong brand of faucet.  And for our trouble, he is refunding the monies we paid for the service call.  He explained the problem and apologized for the error.  This means a lot to me and has renewed my faith in Hoover Electric.  To take the trouble to make a phone call to me and then offer me a refund, shows they care about their customers and reputation. Booked an appointment 3 weeks ago and scheduled a date for him to come to my house. I set aside my entire day and prepared the work area for him and he completely ghosted me after sending a confirmation email that he was arriving the day before. He seemed like a reasonable person so I assumed the worst that something may have happened. It's now been 4 days later and I'm still being ghosted. My wife called from her phone and got a message that he has another project and can't get to his phone. If you can send messages at least be courteous and respond back to me. Wouldn't recommend wasting weeks of your time waiting for John to come and complete work, you're better off calling another handyman.
