Best Appliance Installation in Detroit MI
I highly recommend Sanch Homes Services. I contracted with the company to do deck repairs. They were responsive to my request for a quote and did excellent work at an extremely fair price. I plan to use the company again in the coming year for additional home improvement projects.

Darin was responsive, honest, and fixed my AC unit quickly at a very reasonable price. I appreciated his candid and friendly demeanor. He invited me to stay to watch he and his apprentice repair the unit which allowed me to understand the issues that was causing the malfunction.
I was so impressed with his work that I will be getting my furnace and AC units maintenanced from Burton HVAC every spring and fall.
Highly recommend you giving Darin a call.

Fast. Excellent communication. Extremely professional. Seriously, this company, and specifically Tani, the owner, is the most underrated service I've ever hired on Yelp. I was contacted within 20 minutes of requesting a quote; I was given numerous timeframes to pick from (all were as good as now); and Tani lived up to all expectations and then some. Dryer installed: check. Have time to fix my leaking sink? Check. This service has quickly become my go-to for all home repairs and installations.

The good: They are good at getting to the house in a timely fashion and they are very punctual.
The bad: They are EXTREMELY expensive. They charge $120/hour PLUS a $70 trip fee, which is outrageous. They also don't expect to get the job done in one trip because they may need parts. That is understandable.
I had 3 things that needed to be done: a kitchen drawer was stuck needed to be put back on its tracks, a dripping handle in the tub needed to fixed and the stopper needed to be fixed as well, and a plunger needed to be put back in the sink.
The sink turned into a debacle because one sink was installed on top of the other -- a fact unknown to me until Stephan tried to fix it. When he was spending too long on this job, I told him it was not that big a deal, but he'd gotten to a point of no return (the sink was leaking) and he actually had to call in his boss to help. They spent several hours on this just to get it back to where they started. Fortunately, they said they did not charge me for the time spent on this part of the project.
Stephan took care of the kitchen drawer in about 15 minutes. He was able to get it out, straighten the rail and put it back in. But, the drawer still makes a scraping noise.
The bathroom handles did, indeed need cartridges. When I sent the video and picture before booking the appointment, the office manager, Cindy, told me that it would probably need a cartridge.
I'm not sure how long Stephan spent with the faucet and stopper, as I'd long lost track by then. But when he left, hot water was pouring from the faucet, even after I turned off the handle in the adjoining closet. The water filled up numerous buckets. After 3 days, I was finally able to get it to stop pouring by using a needle-nosed pliers and leaving it attached to the screw.
When Stephan came back with the parts, he was there for maybe a half hour. I was charged $347.95 for this job: 2 hours of labor + one trip fee. The parts were $37.95. I found this OUTRAGEOUS, as it is nearly 10 times the price of the part. I do appreciate that they didn't charge for 2 trip charges or the time that he spent on the sink, but, given that they knew from the outset what the likely problem was, I find it unconscionable to charge so much. Further, it was $100 more than what they estimated. And adding insult to injury, so to speak, there was dirt in the tub and dirty footprints on my rug!
While I found Stephan pleasant and the company convenient, the next time I need odd jobs done, I will go with someone who is independent and doesn't charge and arm and a leg.

If they'd just serviced our furnace like we called them out to do, I'd give them five stars. However, we had a 2.5-year-old furnace installed by another company, which had no appointments for a month, so my husband called Hoover to come out, because they were available the following week (something like that).
Hoover showed up, did the inspection/service and told my husband our 2.5-year-old furnace was the wrong size for the house. If we were lucky it might hang on a few years.
As I was leaving work my husband called with the bad news. I put the phone on speaker and let him talk. He gave an explanation, then said our current furnace might last a year or two.
By the time I got home I was a bit fried, said give us a quote in case we do decide to replace the thing. In the meantime I would contact the original company and have them take a look. Before we left the Hoover guy told us his estimate for new furnaces (he gave several options) were good for 30 days, and we might be lucky and the existing furnace could last the winter. He also said prices might go up in the new year, so that was something to keep in mind.
With covid and labor and supply shortages it sounded plausible. But we were tired and a bit shellshocked.
I did some research, asking around. Everyone seemed to indicate the furnace we had was the right size for our home.
I called the original installer and had them came out. They ran some diagnostics and did a small patch job which should fix the error reading that came up. They also reminded us the furnace itself is still under warranty (even though the labor warranty had expired).
I don't know if the guy from Hoover was working under commission or if he was new and made some mistake in calculations. That he kept shortening the potential lifespan of our furnace was a red flag, however.

I do a lot of business in Michigan and California through Yelp. I have never seen reviews like this... either 5-stars or 1-star... AND THEY ARE BOTH ACCURATE!
Obviously a very nice guy and talented... until he decides he is through with you... whether the job is completed or not!
I had the same story. Great communication, knows his biz, nice guy, good work... but a TERRIBLE BUSINESSMAN. Why he would quote these jobs, do work, build relationships and then just disappear is crazy. I actually thought something happened to him until I read these reviews.
Unfortunately for us, he left one part of the job (the sanding and painting) unfinished. Now, I have to find someone to come in and clean up his mess. cI've been told I have a nice case for small claims court... and I may just try that route.
WHAT A WASTE OF TIME! STAY AWAY FROM THIS GUY!
