Emergency Sprinkler Repair Pros Plumbing Service
Derrick was terrific! I just bought my house a couple of months ago, and I had no clue how any part of my sprinkler setup worked. I didn't know where the timer was, where the shutoff valve was, or how any of the system worked at all. But then Derrick came to the rescue and figured everything out, made a repair to fix a leak that he found, did the blowout/winterization and taught me everything I need to know to keep the system in good working order. Now I know exactly where everything is and how it works and I feel way more confident about this part of my house. We know we're in good hands with Emergency Sprinkler Repair Pros, definitely looking forward to calling them back for spring service in April!

B-Line Plumbing & Drains Plumbing Service
Brent did a good job for us and he did it quickly. He's a nice guy and easy to work with. We had an overflowing drain, the clothes washer drain, and he initially thought the repair was going to be $1500 but he looked at it closer and was able to get it repaired for $200. So we definitely appreciated that! No negatives to report at all, 100% positive.

Jay's Backflow Plumbing Service
I hired Jay's Backflow for installation and testing of a commercial backflow prevention device. Having worked in construction and real estate management for 15 years, I have k Jen and worked with many plumbers and I recommend Jay's Backflow with enthusiasm!  From start to finish, everything they said would be done was done, exactly as they explained it. Jason was more than willing to explain every step of the process. I could not have been more satisfied with the experience!

Big Apple Plumbing Plumbing Service
Dishonest, high priced, won't stick to bid, don't waste your time. Jason, the owner is very sketchy character that bid one price to get you committed and then changes it on you once they show up to work. On top of that their prices are way too high anyway. I was able to get the same work done for half the price without any of the drama.  When I questioned/complained about raising the price Jason realized that I was going to cause problems and came up with another lie about me trying to do unapproved work on my own, I guess to save face. Didn't even make since - why would I?

Alliance Air Solutions Plumbing Service
I would highly recommend using Alliance Air Solutions!! They do great work at a very competitive price. They installed a Mitsubishi mini split in my condo downtown and not only has it added value to our investment, it works great with our 16ft ceilings!! Working with the owner Zach was a pleasant experience and we will continue to use him for our future HVAC needs.

Go Direct Plumbing Sewer & Water Plumbing Service
I recently had Go Direct replace my entire sewer connection.  Excellent service from start to finish.  And they were cheaper than the other estimates I received by far.

The project manager Luis was very polite, professional and knew his craft.  He accurately located the key points of my line with the camera locator:  transition from cast to clay pipe, location of blockage.  (The other company I called for locate did not do this, they only located the blockage and assumed they could find the exit from the house.)

And Go Direct did the camera locate for free because it was part of the estimate.  They were confident enough that I would contract with them that they did the locate for free.  (Its hard to find anyone to do a camera inspection for free unless you get other services.)

The construction crew arrived about 8:30a for the work.  Maybe 5 guys showed up.  All were native Spanish speakers, a few spoke English too.  No language barriers to worry about.   (Hey, we live in Denver, its 2016, if you don't know a little Spanish by now, its time learn.)  I did learn that Jimmy Johns universally translates...

They went right at it, carefully dug my yard, pulled the curb, and dug the street with a backhoe, (again, hand digging around utilities) they did their best to not mess up the tree in my front yard, too.  The project manager, Luis showed up for a while to make sure things were going well.  There were a couple of other guys who were experienced and took charge, so I didn't worry that he wasn't there the whole time.  I think that they were out by 5:30p including clean up.  Wish I remembered all their names, great guys, hardworking, polite, professional and competent.

They were considerate of my neighbors.

And like all construction-repair jobs, they found some funky stuff, I had to make some phone calls to get things worked out, they worked around me making phone calls.  There was no down time due to unexpected events.  Luis went in the trench and took some pictures for me so I would have documentation of the project.  Again, nice guy.

My connection goes into the street, so they had to do asphalt removal, and also had to remove the curb and gutter due to some utility issues.  They hand-dug around utilities.

They do asphalt and curb and gutter, they come back a few days later to do it.  Curb and gutter was not a part of the estimate, they added $600 to replace my section.  Seemed reasonable to me.  Another thing to note is that sprinkler repair and sod is not part of the estimate.  They did offer to do that work for a little more.  Sod and sprinkler pipe is cheap and easy; I can do that myself.

Again great service, great employees, I've been recommending them to my neighbors without hesitation.

If you need a sewer repair, by all means get multiple estimates, just make sure one of those estimates is from Go Direct.

And if you do use Go Direct (and you should) buy the guys some drinks and snacks, they work hard and they appreciate the thought.

Courtesy Plumbing & Heating Plumbing Service
My husband and I recently purchased a condo, and as part of our home inspection, the inspector noted the water heater was 17 years old and that we should prioritize getting it replaced. Okay, no problem--I called 3 plumbers as well as Home Depot for quotes.

On the low end (Home Depot) I was quoted just over 2k for a new 40gal heater. On the high end, I was quoted $3200. I decided to go with the middle option, Courtesy Plumbing, which came in around $2600 and included the tank, labor, disposal of the old tank, and modifications to put the tank in per updated codes. Ryan took the call, came out for free to check out the space, and came back a couple days later for the install.

I appreciated that Ryan was transparent, courteous, and diligent. He and his partner got it done correctly and they left no mess or evidence of their work besides my brand new tank. He even did a water pressure test for me after he had some concerns that our pressure was too high. Rather than immediately try to upsell me on a regulator, he got creative and found a way to test the pressure, only to discover that it was actually fine. As a layman myself, I felt reassured that Courtesy was not trying to trick me out of more $.

I also upgraded to the silver client package after they finished the job because I liked them so much. We'll eventually need HVAC work done in here, and I will be calling Courtesy.

Thanks to Ryan, and extra thanks to Courtesy for acknowledging my husband's service as a USMC veteran and offering us a discount.

I have a rental property in Aurora and live in California. I used Chester to snake out my kitchen drain. Chester showed up on time, was reasonably priced, and provided me with information on the issue. I am a happy customer and would use this company again.

Independent Plumbing Solutions Plumbing Service
We heard a leak in our crawlspace. I called Independent Plumbing Solutions and booked their earliest appointment which was a couple days out. My husband was antsy to get it looked at that day, but after an appalling quote and pushy tech from a bigger plumbing company, we decided to wait for our appointment with Independent Plumbing Solutions. Totally worth the wait! The plumber was punctual and polite, and got us all fixed up in no time. When the invoice arrived, the charge was very reasonable, and we are totally satisfied with the service.

Needed a new sink and an overflow put in my kitchen so I went ahead and looked up faucet installation in my area. Went forth and picked this company and everything turned out perfect and I was very pleased with the professionalism and how smooth the process went. I've had pretty bad experiences and I will be recommending my girlfriends to this company for any kind of handyman interior & exterior projects! Thank you again so much J&D Home Services and Repair.

Roto-Rooter Plumbing & Water Cleanup Plumbing Service
Had a major clog near the main sewer line and realized it near the evening. Gave them a call and they were pretty busy, but promised they would get out to help me out .  They did get out to me a bit later than the quoted time since the previous job was more complex, but I was OK with it and Angel did a great job on fixing the issue.  Highly recommend both this business and kudos especially to Angel. It was late, I was definitely the last customer of the day and he still had great customer service, a great attitude and did a great job!  Well Done!

Fix-it 24/7 Plumbing Service
Yesterday I received a call from their CEO, (he had been out of the Country when our issues occurred).  He advised me of the following:

- the second technician that came out to the house, taped up the exhaust pipe, told us we needed an IDM motor and that our furnace was pretty much toast - has be let go.

- the company is putting in place additional training/tools for technicians.

- he apologized for the lack of communication following the incident and shared that what happened was not what he expects of this company.

Sounds like many positive changes are being made.  I'm glad the company responded and vowed to make things right.  We were given our money back and a dinner voucher along with a personalized letter from the CEO.  All of this was hand delivered to our home.

I was very impressed with his expression of service and his ability to execute on his words.  I'd love to give the local companies my money and perhaps they deserve a second chance.  Thanks for making this right.

I'm giving a 5 star rating for how the CEO fixed this problem.

Bell Plumbing, Heating, Cooling & Electrical Plumbing Service
SCAM!!! These guys are absolute crooks. Here's my experience: I moved into a new house a few weeks ago. Prior to move-in, the old owners had the furnaces serviced for me by Bell Services on S. Abeline to the tune of $1737.00. The first cold day (about a week after taking possession) I turned on the furnace but it wouldn't start. They had just serviced it, nobody had touched it since, and it wouldn't turn on.

I called Bell, expecting that they would stand by their work. The technician  first spent 10-15 minutes showing me obvious (to him) problems with the unit, suggesting that I have it serviced and those problems addressed. I told him that it had just been serviced by them and that they should have fixed those things as a part of that service. He made excuses as to why the previous technician had missed those five items. I got the feeling that he was looking for a massive upsell, but since I believed it was on them to make it right, the tech stopped barking up that tree. He checked the codes, found the problem and tested to be sure that the problem really was the air pressure switch. He bypassed it and the unit ran, but unhooked the bypass for safety reasons.

I argued that they should fix it for free, since it obviously wasn't working when they last left after the $1700 job. He said that the warranty that the previous owners got doesn't transfer to me since I'm the new owner. He also told me that the unit MUST have been working properly otherwise the other technician wouldn't have left and implied that we were lying about having not run the unit (despite the fact that the weather had been in the 70s-90s since they had ostensibly serviced the unit - no heating required). When I asked about the condensation he was concerned with vis a vis the AC unit, he said that it takes up to two hours for that condition to emerge. He said that they never have time to fully test their work. Nice.

Desperate to get the heater working on a cold night I asked him how much it would cost to fix it. He told me $800 to replace the bad part. I asked him how much the part itself would cost and he said $655 (for a part that looks like it should cost between $10 and $50). He offered that it was after hours and that everything was more expensive after hours. I asked him what the $655 part would cost if I bought it from him tomorrow, and he began to backpedal. He didn't want to answer the question and suggested that he should probably just leave. After 30 minutes of arguing with this fool, I decided to deal with the cold and kick him out of my house. By that point I was upset about being scammed, and I was less than civil. On his way out of the door he turned back, yelling to me and my wife and kids: at least my house is warm.

Once he drove away I went online and found the EXACT manufacturer's part for $42. There were cheaper ones in the $20 range, but I figured that I'd stick with the OEM. I installed it with two screws (provided) and I plugged the two wires and single rubber hose back in. It works like a champ and cost me 5.25% of what Bell felt was fair (saving $768 on an $800 job). Since I've never worked on a furnace before, I took my time double-checking all of the connections. Even so, the whole thing took less than five minutes.

This company is clearly scamming patrons whose systems are broken and who need help. Many people would have just paid the $800, letting themselves be ripped off by these guys. I'm fairly certain that this kind of deceit plays a big role in their business model.

STAY AWAY FROM BELL!!!!

Had a service appointment schduled with them. They didn't show up, call to cancel, call to reschedule, or anything. Just didn't show up. I find this very rude and unappreciative to someone's time.

Anywhere Rooter Plumbing Service
The conclusion of our experience with Anywhere Rooter is that they are a bunch of scammers that will try to rip you off, and will refuse to give you service when they can't.
We had a problem with our main drainage about 3 weeks ago, the water was backflowing into our basement. Unfortunately, we called Anywhere Rooter randomly, we didn't read any reviews or know any other plumbing companies. We were expecting a quick cleanup, however, one of their plumbers came over to our house and decided after he inspected our pipes that we have a big problem and that some tree roots were blocking our main pipe. He said the only solution to our problem was to dig out the pipes and replace them with new ones! His offer was $5500, we told him to just do a normal clean up because we can't afford to pay that much. He was very pushy and was trying to convince us to get a loan or call our bank! He refused to do a clean up saying that the floor might collapse and he doesn't want to get blamed for damages. We told him that we are done and we'll call another company, however, he charged us $133, saying that $69 were for driving to our place and $64 for replacing a pipe cap that he had to break to get his camera in. So basically we paid the guy $133 for refusing to fix our problem. The next day we asked the company to send us the video that the plumber supposedly recorded so we can send it to another company so they don't have to do another diagnosis. Anywhere rooter said that there was no video because we didn't ask their plumber to record it! We decided to just call another company to do a normal clean up which cost us only $100, plus they gave us warranty. It's been three weeks now and our drainage seems to be fine, there is no backflow anymore.
