Best System Maintenance in Colorado Springs CO
Had issues with hot water storage tank on my boiler system. Called Rick the owner and he made it over the next day even though he was booked. Put my mind at ease by the time he had left.
Ordered the tank and even pushed the tank company to cover some of the replacement cost. This is above and beyond since he did not even have to ask. Good to know there are still company's looking out for their customers. Installed the new unit a week later, went through the whole system checking PH and glycol levels. Beautiful, clean job. Called a couple of days later to make sure everything was good and running well. I will be signing up for his yearly service plan. Nice to have someone to call when there are issues.

I would highly recommend using Alliance Air Solutions!! They do great work at a very competitive price. They installed a Mitsubishi mini split in my condo downtown and not only has it added value to our investment, it works great with our 16ft ceilings!! Working with the owner Zach was a pleasant experience and we will continue to use him for our future HVAC needs.

Tommy and his crew are the best! Quick to respond and fairly priced. I've referred TNH&C to family and friends and I will always use them. Courteous, professional, knowledgeable and affordable...what else can you ask for? Thanks for everything...excited to have a cool house this hot summer!

Had a leaking water heater pipe / issue with an expansion tank in a rental property, Rick went right out on Sunday afternoon, diagnosed the problem and was able to provide a temporary fix until the correct expansion tank could be ordered. I am sure he could have told me the water heater itself needed replacement and made a minor problem a very expensive fix. I thought his pricing was very fair, that he was honest and my tenant noted his kind demeanor and professionalism. Will call again!

Zero stars (I had to give it one star in order to post this review). We scheduled an appointment with Mission Plumbing & Heating for a small repair job under the sink in order to prepare for a new dishwasher. My wife left work early just to be home in time to meet the plumber on schedule. He never showed up! My wife tried calling him five times, leaving several messages, but never received a call back. Is this considered professional behavior? We finally reached another plumber and were able to get the job scheduled. Bottom line: if you want to be stood up even on a scheduled job, then take a risk on Mission Plumbing. Otherwise, avoid this company at all costs. I wouldn't be disappointed to see this guy go out of business. You need to take care of customers if you expect to succeed.

I normally don't write reviews, but I felt it was necessary. In terms of customer service, doing business with Furnace Universe was easy, personable, and friendly - they also have great response times. We hired them to do an air duct/dryer vent cleaning. However, I inspected the work after they visited and our vents were not clean (see pictures attached). In fact, there was still paint over the vent covers which tells me that they were never removed them when they vacuumed. I guess the price was too good to be true. They need a serious upgrade in their equipment. Unfortunately, a shop vac isn't strong enough to get the job done - especially when you don't remove the vent covers :( My spouse and I had to spend about 4-5 hours cleaning our air ducts afterwards. That being said, I would like my money back.
**Note after Furnace Universe's response: It's true they weren't able to have access to one room, but why weren't the rest of the vents cleaned?? There were about 1/2 of dirt behind the ducts and each vent. None of the vent covers we removed, the screws and covers were still sealed with paint. I asked for my money back and still have not received it.

I had two different services on the same day and they came out on the same day I called. I was told I would get a call about 20 minutes prior to arrival but neither of the gentleman called before arriving. I'll start with the more positive experience. The purpose of the visit was a furnace tune up which was completed efficiently and there was a problem found and after a run to get the part fixed immediately. The other service was to check on a leaky recently installed toilet. After a couple of minutes of inspection it was determined that the bolts holding the tank to the base were not properly tightened during installation. The bolts were finger tightened. No tools were used and no parts required. The total charge for fingers? $175. Highway robbery in my opinion and blatant exploitation of a recently widowed single mother. I have been a loyal customer for over 11 years. After this experience, I think no longer.

Edit: had another tech come out to evaluate. This new technician told me that the system was not even closed up properly when they left. Things were hand tightened. Looks like they weren't happy when I told them to stop all work. He also confirmed all my fears that I was being taken for a ride by fountain valley. Watch yourself with fountain valley, or at least educate yourself very well on HVAC, and stand by to monitor the work if you are going to hire them. It honestly seems like these guys were trying milk us for whatever they could.
Had these guys out to repair a condenser drain pipe leak, before the repair the ac was cooling the house just fine, and the condenser drain was having to be caught by a bucket. After the drain repair, the ac stopped working and was freezing over. They came back out after the system thawed and said that it was freezing over because it was low on refrigerant. I authorized the service to fill the refrigerant, and two hours later they call to say that that wasn't the problem, and that they'd have to take the system apart to find the issue, and that would take 5-6 billable hours x2 technicians, I felt like I was being unsold and taken for a ride considering the fact that apart from a little condenser frail leak, the system was running fine before the tech started working on it. I called them off and told them not to do anything else. Luckily the owner, after hearing my concerns agreed to not charge me for the last visit. Won't use fountain valley mechanical again, just don't feel like it was on the up and up.

Our pipes needed to be snaked. I called Roto-Rooter and left a voicemail. I got a call back shortly, and the nice lady was able to get a plumber out same day (on a Saturday - at no additional charge). There was a $88 special on pipe cleaning - bonus! Our plumber was Calvin, and he was fabulous. We would highly recommend them.

Friendly, prompt and did a great job. Thank you to Barrington and Ryan for coming out and servicing my heater and advising me on the addition of a humidifier to my heater.
