Used these guys several times for my house and some investment properties. They show up on time work relatively fast and the bills I receive are always reasonable.

Wanted to thank you for the gorgeous fence... not to mention the new bathroom shower.. thought was going to be a bit more difficult but wouldnt have known it.  Also the other odds n ends.. we are working on another little list. Most definitely have found our go to for around the house repairs and/or remodeling.. very good price, professional and polite.

Scam artists called to have a leek where the main line comes into the house. Told me the whole line from the city shut off needed to be replaced at a cost of $8,800 which is a lot of money for anyone on a fixed income . So the next day I had another plumber over and he fixed it in about 20 minutes at a cost of $100.00. They tried to scam me but I am not stupid,just stay away from them.

Excellent and professional service at a fair price!   I would highly recommend them to anyone needing plumbing service and they are a locally owned and operated family business.

Really wanted to support a local business, but didn't get called back twice about a whole house filter. Once in 2020 and again this year. Even after giving them all our info including photos. Seems like we just fell through the cracks.

Zero stars!  Don't waste your time or money.

After three service calls, and repeated lies from the Customer Service department, my furnace is still not working.  Their scheduling system obviously doesn't work, since I was called twice to inform me that the tech was on his way, when it wasn't my scheduled time.  (In one case, on the wrong day.)  The first two service calls could not do the repair because they did not have the right parts.  The 'part' they needed was the PVC for the intake duct.  Really?  They don't stock that basic material on their trucks?

When the second tech decided that the intake was clear, he announced that it must be the pressure switch.  Which he didn't have on his truck.  Trane isn't a brand we service very often.  A new appointment was made for Monday.  I got to spend the weekend in a house that was 54F indoors.

On Monday I got a call at 9:30am to tell me that the tech would be at my house after 2:00pm.  I pointed out that my appointment was for after 6:00pm because I could not take off work.  At 5:30pm I got a call telling me that they couldn't get the part.  So a new appointment was made for Tuesday.  Another cold night.  At this point I am getting a sore throat and a stuffy head.

The final service call was supposed to be between 2:00pm and 4:00pm.  I asked a neighbor to let him in.  After more lies from Customer Service, the tech arrived at my house at 5:25pm. The other lie was that this visit would be from a Senior Technician.  But it was the same guy who came the first time.  He replaced the pressure switch and the furnace ran for a couple of hours.  But it apparently wasn't the problem.  But these guys are out of chances to fix it.

Mike was incredibly professional, courteous, and timely. He was able to come before our scheduled appointment, and Bryan called ahead of time with a no pressure offer for Mike to come early with plenty of notice. If we weren't moving, this would be our go to plumbing service. Thank you Mike and Bryan for an outstanding customer experience.

Two workers today to clear sewer did great job. Need to go out and get paper that desolves faster and not so thick.

I have used them in the past but when I reached out for a new appointment they no showed. I called the office and was treated extremely rudely. They lost my business!!! No reason to treat customers poorly!

When you call them for a smaller job they come out and give you a price 3x higher than any other plumber will charge. Then they charge you 55$ for coming out and grossly over quoting you.

Water was backing up called them and got a same day appointment on a late holiday weekend. They were great and here immediately to fix the issue.

You know it's not going to be a good day when you go into your finished basement to grab a shower and hear water dripping.  Not from the shower but from an unknown source in the unfinished back basement area.  What a mess!  I called my usual plumber but got no answer and no return call.  So I reached out to Joe Lay & Sons simply because they're so local to my house.  Alison answered and was awesome.  She got a hold of DJ who left a job he was on and came right on over.  We investigated for more than an hour without any luck in identifying the leaking pipe.  The water was dripping from the return duct work on my AC unit and accessing above that was nearly impossible.  We tried a few things and finally thought we isolated it to my laundry room on the first floor but to be sure, DJ called his supervisor, Jessie, who came right out.  Within about 30 minutes, they'd confirmed it was most likely coming from the laundry room area but still needed to identify where.  A few test holes later, they found the culprit.  17 years ago, when we built our house, the drywall crew had screwed through a protective plate and pierced the copper line going to my laundry tub.  The screw rusted and finally couldn't hold back the pressure.  So within about 10 minutes, DJ had the bad section cut out and repaired.  Literally, they made my day!!!  Thanks to the entire team at Joe Lay & Sons.  It's so nice to be dry again!

A no show twice! First time Dave from CME called 15 minutes before scheduled arrival time to say his pipe camera was in the shop being repaired and asked if we could reschedule. I was disappointed but realize problems arise. I rescheduled with him for the following Thursday at 10 am and he assured me he would have his camera back by then. When he didn't show again I called him. He said he didn't know about the appointment! He also said his camera was still in the shop and he couldn't help that. My husband took off work to meet with him twice which was very frustrating. We heard about CME from 55KRC radio. Would not recommend.

Randy from G&R plumbing charges outrageous prices. He feel he took advantage of my 80 year old mother. He charged her over $141.00 to fix a handle on her toilet. I was out of the state or I would have fixed it in 5 minutes after buying the $5.00 part.

She could have bought a new toilet for that price. I told her to never call him again and to also warn her friends.

This is not the first time I have heard that he overcharges people.
