Our bathtub on the second floor was a leaking from overflow. Called BHP to schedule an appointment, promised to send a tech the next morning (Tuesday). So far so good. In the morning the guy shows up, cuts a hole in the ceiling in the room below the tub, says that he needs to replace the gasket, but doesn't have the right parts with him. OK.
Now it gets interesting. He quotes $1,250 (for a new rubber gasket, $10 part!!) and says that he needs two days to locate the parts. Unfortunately, he is not available for the remainder of the week - the earliest he can come back is next Monday. Wife reluctantly agrees (what a mistake...). We wait, living with a hole in the celing and no functioning bath for a week. Next Monday, two hours before the scheduled repair, get a call from the office saying that the tech will not be available, need to re-schedule! Offers a new appointment timeslot on Wednesday (two more days of waiting!). Wife says no, send someone else ASAP. They promise to send another tech within two hours. Two hours pass, no tech. Call the office to inquire status, says that the tech is delayed and will be coming in two hours. At this point, insulted and frustrated, we cancel the appointment and call another plumber. Over a week after the initial contact NOTHING gets done. To cap it off, BHP have the audacity to email wife a bill for $195 for the initial visit (all that was done was the gaping hole in the ceiling!).
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH BILL HOWE! THEY MAY HAVE CAPABLE PLUMBERS (WE WILL NEVER KNOW), BUT THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE IS HORRIBLE!
