I needed an old garbage disposal removed and a new one (I planned to install it myself, as I had done this before. This time, my senior citizen back decided it didn't want me crawling under the sink.)
The owner, Nick Nicola (847-828-1141), was highly recommended by several members of a local Elk Grove Vlge., IL, Facebook group. I'm now member of Nick's fan club and understand why Nick is so popular.
He promptly responded to my text message. Offered to come out the same day (which didn't work for me, so we scheduled an appointment for the following day). He showed up on time, got the job done (knew what he was doing), was a pleasant, friendly guy and reasonably priced. I learned that he also does electrical, plumbing and general jobs around the house.
I used to be married to a very handy guy; unfortunately, he passed away. So, I never had a go to list of handymen. I am so happy I found Nick. I will definitely rely on him in the future and HIGHLY RECOMMEND NIX FIX IT, INC., to anyone needing work done by someone who offers reasonably priced, good, old fashioned service and, HE PROMPTLY RETURNS PHONE CALLS AND TEXT MESSAGES!!!
