We called when we had a leak that was pooling under our carpet.  They scheduled the appointment within 2 days.  Robert contacted us in a timely fashion, came to our house, assessed the issue quickly.  Since it was late, he came back the next day with a new water heater, installed it, and took the old one away.  

He communicated with us every step of the way, especially if a prior job was taking longer than expected, and he was quick, efficient, and got the job done.  Highly recommend.

Roto-Rooter are not plumbers. They are dispatchers. I live in Valparaiso IN.  I had a blocked kitchen drain and called them to come out on Friday 10/27/17.. The dispatcher said someone would be out between noon and 4:00  and sent me an email mail confirmation. I printed out a $40 Coupon. They cannot and will not quote you a price. That's up to the negotiating skills of the pond scum who gets the lead. At 4:30 PM I get a voice mail message from some Eastern Europe speaking guy you could barely understand that he is on his way.  The delay caused some angst because I had to leave at 2:00 pm to do a sales promo job in Illinois. I left my 22 yr old grandson in charge with a signed bank check to complete and instructions that he call me with the price before doing any service. I get a call from my grandson at my work site saying he can't understand the guy but it sounds like the price is way over the top but that we will get bargain discount of $89 leaving a balance of $490. What!? I asked to put thie guy on the phone. He explained that I used Roto Rooter ten yrs ago for the same thing and paid $240 and this is just common inflation. When I told him to get the F out of my house he said well what would you be willing to pay? I said leave NOW. I will never do business with Roto Rooter ever again.
