Best Leak Detection in Chesapeake VA

I called this morning about a clogged shower drain, and a toilet that keeps backing up. Precision Plumbing was able to come to my house today, and checked everything out. They gave me some suggestions, but determined that the clogs had cleared and didn't charge me!  Wow, I am impressed.

Friday afternoon my husband and I noticed a leak from our water heater. I asked for online quotes from a few places but King's Plumbing was the fastest and most reasonable response we got. We were able to get them out here to fix the problem about an hour later. Ron was great and fixed our leak and even informed us that we needed a new valve as well. He was a true professional! We were definitely extremely satisfied with the service we received.

Customer service is above and beyond. We noticed we had water pooling in our bathroom and it appeared to be coming through the floor seams. I'd called a few plumbers that couldn't get me in for over a week and then found Buchanan Plumbing. I called and Dena was beyond helpful and said she'd be able to get someone out in the morning. She asked me to send her pictures of the water leak and the leak in the crawl space so she could better inform the plumber what was going on.

Sure enough the next morning Brandon came out and quickly determined that the water was coming from our newly installed toilet. He then addressed a minor sink water pressure issue we had and went into the crawl space to double check we had no further issues. Brandon was very knowledgeable and made us feel confident with his assessments. We were very impressed with the amazing customer service and genuine people we interacted with. Absolutely will be recommending this company and will use it for any future plumbing issues!

Sean did a great job and was quick to come out to our home. He was extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and quick to fix our problem. A++!

They were the ONLY plumber available for several days to repair a broken kitchen pipe due to a poorly installed kitchen sink falling on it. They were able to come out within hours.

The young man was polite and respectful. They charge based on the job not by the hour. It was $274 to glue the pipe back together or over $600 to replace the pvc pipe. Guaranteed for a few weeks.

He glued the pipe and was gone in a grand total of 20 minutes time. $274 for twenty minutes = $822 an hour.

A big thank you for coming out on short notice, but the fact that they were the only available plumbing service for several days says a lot. All plumbers are outrageously high at $180 hr., plus a trip charge, but for the amount I paid, a regular plumber could've replaced the pipe, not just glue it. I'm sure I'll have to replace it before long - just didn't have an extra $600 to spend on replacing on short pvc drain pipe.

On Saturday, I  had a leak in the kitchen from the ceiling.  I tried to find the leak myself but couldn't find it.   I tried 2 other companies who were absolutely no help.  One company stated, well since it's just dripping and not a big job to make it worth my time, we aren't coming out.  I called Drain Wizard and spoke with Alyssa and explained my situation, she said if it's your problem it's our problem.  Because it was after standard operating hours she said she would call the on-call technician.  The on-call tech called within 15 mins.  I explained what I saw and then further explained that all of a sudden it stopped dripping.  He said I'll come out as a courtesy and see what's going on.  He quickly came out and assessed the situation.  They looked everywhere and explained pricing and let me know what fits best for my budget.  Because it stopped leaking I forgot to call back to schedule an appointment but did receive a call from Alyssa the following week.  She wasn't pushy, just wanted to know if I still needed plumbing assistance.  I explained the situation and she said she would call the technician and let me know what their overall assessment was. (I asked for the advice) Adam, the technician, called and explained what he planned to do. He found the leak within mins, quoted me for the part and labour, fixed the leaks, and cleaned up any mess he made.  He was in and out in less than 1 hour.  He was professional, clean, respectful, and kind.  I hope to not have a leak again but if I do, Drain Wizard will be the first place I call!

I asked on my neighborhood Facebook page for references for ac repairman. I was actually given a different guy's name and he ended up sending me Kelvin with Rivera's Home Improvement! After meeting and doing business with Kelvin, I know it was divine intervention, because he was a God send! I ended up needing a new unit outside. Which could have been stressful to even think about due to expenses, but Kelvin is as honest as they come and doing business with him was a true blessing to me and my family. I now have a new unit, 2 days later. He showed up first thing in the morning just like he promised and my home is currently cooling in the low 70's and I now have a new 10 year warranty on my unit! I will never call anyone else about ac/heating ever again! I can't praise him or his company enough! No stress involved! I highly recommend him for your ac/heating work! You'll be glad you did

Needed an inspection on a pipe and saw the amazing reviews. The technician never notified us that they did the report and I had to call and text multiple times to attempt to pay and get a report. As a client, trying to track down a service company to try to pay.....The gentleman who sent emails from the company was unpleasant and downright rude. I will not recommend this company.

Fantastic service. Dante was able to come first thing in the morning to fix the leaking faucet in my tub. It was leaking so badly that I had to turn my water off, but now, not a drop! Great communication & very responsive. Very fair price and good work! I will definitely hire him in the future--in fact, I've already consulted him on another project!

Have used A-1 numerous times before and had good luck. The last conversation I had with whoever answers the phones has assured they will never be used again by me or my family. The secretary was so completely and unnecessarily rude that I didn't even bother to schedule them.

BEST plumber in Hampton Roads ! He's made multiple trips to my house and each time he responded FASTER and charged LESS than the other plumbers, I've used before meeting him. My wife and I are so glad we have an AFFORDABLE & DEPENDABLE Plumber. His phone number has a special place on our refrigerator, next to our family numbers.

I got excellent service from Michael. I called on a Sunday afternoon in a bind because the water wouldn't go down the drain (nothing bad happens on a weekday; it's always a weekend or holiday). They sent Michael out that night and he got right to work. It wasn't a simple job but Michael persisted till the clog was gone. Turns out it was quite a ways down the old cast iron pipe.

Price was a little more than I had hoped, but not unreasonable for short notice and difficulty/quality of job done.

I had a leaky shower, so I scheduled an appointment with Mr. Rooter of Williamsburg and they sent their technician over. He diagnosed the problem as a failed valve inside the handle assembly, and he quoted me $397. I should have declined and shopped around, but this has been a persistent problem and I just wanted it to go away. The job took about 30 minutes, but they still charged the full price. I felt the service provided didn't warrant that high of a bill, so I called their office asking for an itemized bill. The customer rep told me we charge by the task, some services take 6 hours, some are shorter. I tell people we are not the cheapest or the most expensive, but we'll be there. He refused to provide an itemized bill, and that was the end of the call.

TL/DR: Don't recommend them. They charge by the task regardless of long it takes, and I just paid $397 for a 30 minute repair. They wouldn't provide an itemized bill.

Called for an estimate on an generator transfer switch and gas line extension Insisted on $85 fee for each estimate ... $170 just to estimate! No Other company I contacted required this... Buyer beware.

They do not do work up to code, steal tools and personal property and never finish a job that they are paid for. Jason and Melissa are both con artists. They were paid in full for a job and didn't even complete it. On top of stealing over 1k of items from the home. The owner of the trailer is not happy, never was. Took them to court and they never showed but were quick to file bankruptcy to clear the judgement.

Do not hire them. I think he is a scam artist! He was hired to do a small job in tore up my entire floor, which cost me $5000 out of my own pocket because he kept the rest of the insurance money saying he spent it on plumbing. I had somebody go into the house after him and a lot of the things that he said he did we're not done.
