I have had back luck with service companies in the past but Reddick was great to me. I spoke to two people to schedule the appointment and they were both polite and helpful. And they were able to send someone out the very next day. David, the service tech, didn't try to overcharge me for bogus repairs. He was very honest and called me right away to explain the situation. I will definitely call Reddick the next time I have any issues! Thank you Reddick!

I received services from Sila a few months ago, so this review is late.  Sila is a good reason why I only deal with small, independently-owned HVAC repair/installation companies for maintenance.  I inherited a Sila HVAC maintenance contract from the previous owner so I gave them a chance.  The tech's service  was rather unsatisfactory.  He turned on the boiler to the radiator system, and when he heard a loud noise coming from it, he automatically declared that the system was broken and left.  I told him that the system needed water which included bleeding all the radiators in my house.  He refused, so I asked him to at least clean the grates in the boiler.  He told me that it was not worth cleaning a boiler that was broken and said that someone from Sila will call me with a quote for a new system.  When he left, I simply turned on the water, filled the system, bled the radiators, and it was working great.  The next day, I received a call from someone from the sales dept and he gave me a quote for 10k!  The follow-ups were relentless.  I must've received an email every other day until I politely told the salesman that I won't be working with Sila.  Sila is a well-oiled machine.  I heard that they are great when installing brand new systems, (you'll pay though), but they are not the company to call to maintain or fix your system.  Their techs are on a tight schedule and if they can't service a system in the allotted time, they just move on to the next customer who is in the queue.  If they could provide more attention to customers and do problem-solving before pushing them to buy a new system, they would be great.

This company did wonderful work for us with plumbing repairs and the installation of a new wall mounted combi-boiler.  Finally happened across TEC after trying a few other plumbing companies that could not solve our problems.  By far the most professional administrative and plumbing staff that I have found.  Couldn't recommend their plumbing division more highly!

On August 1, 2019, Mr. Wen Nguyen from Snell HVAC replaced a leaking valve in my HVAC system.  My system was still under warranty, so the only thing I paid for was the $90 service fee.  This was the second year that the HVAC system had failed to cool off my apartment.  Last year (2018) a technician came out and basically just put in some refrigerant and charged me over $400.00.  This year when I called Snell, I was fortunate that they sent out Mr. Wen Nguyen to fix the problem.  Mr. Nguyen spent several hours patiently looking for the leak in my system.  Mr. Nguyen located the problem, discussed the situation with me, and ordered a new valve.  Mr. Nguyen then returned and finished the job.  I am so thankful for Mr. Nguyen's expertise -- he is a very kind and thoughtful person and I believe that he takes pride in his work.  A rare experience in a busy metropolitan area.  Mr. Nguyen cares that he provides good service to his clients.  As I said, I couldn't be more thankful that Snell sent out Mr. Wen Nguyen to fix my HVAC system -- he is truly an asset to Snell.

WL Staton was very responsive and fixed our pinhole leaks quickly and effectively. I would hire them again if need be.

I knew this was going to work out great, the second Leo responded to my Yelp request for plumbing. It was a Saturday, and I didn't expect anyone to reply, let alone within 10 minutes. I called Sunday morning, and arranged for a visit on Tuesday.

The real star here was Billy. He not only arrived on time, but was here 2 hours early and even placed a complimentary call to ask if he could come early. When he arrived, he explained everything to me in full detail, and even gave me tips like how to flush my water heater to prevent black water build up. I was not upsold on anything, and there was nothing fishy going on here, just a professional doing a superb job. Billy did a lot of work in both of my bathrooms, in a very short timespan, and his experience definitely showed in the quality of work done. I will be going back to Plumb Professionals for ALL my plumbing needs moving forward, as I am a new owner of a condo, and I was very nervous about finding a good plumber -- it's nice to know that need is put to bed. Thank you so much Billy for being a great person, and knowing your craft so well, you made my day.

Unlike almost every service I contacted, provided a quote over Yelp ($200 to unclog toilet), came over within a few hours, fixed the issue and charged just that. Very easy and professional.

My family and just returned from vacation last night to discover we had no hot water. I went through the yelp find a business and Kahlid responded within 15 mins and was able to come out to the house within 2 hours! He was able to fix the issue and we are good to go. Bought a new natural gas grill. After delivery, I smelled a little gas coming from the fitting outside of my home. Called DB's the next day and they sent Shane over. That dude is a straight up pro. Replaced the entire fitting with some next level hardware. It looks great and knowing I have a new  leak free setup allows me to grill with confidence knowing I'm not going to blow me or my house into next week. I've read some of the reviews about pricing. I'm a firm believer in you get what you pay for.....Professional, quality work is something I'd gladly pay a premium for.

Muhammad came out and accessed the issue of my sink faucet very quickly. A few days later he came back and installed the new faucet in record time. It looks great and works perfect. He also took the time to check on an issue I was having with shower. I will definitely continue to use them for my plumbing needs and appreciate the quick responses. Wore mask and removed shoes at door.

I had a great experience with Heil Plumbing. The person I spoke to on the phone to arrange our appointment was efficient, and let me know ahead of time approximately how much replacing our broken water heater might be, if replacement turned out to be the best option (which I really appreciated so we weren't shocked the next day). Gary called the next morning to let me know he was on his way before our appointment time, and was friendly when he arrived. He explained my options and pricing to me thoroughly, and worked quickly despite some unforeseen obstacles with our old water heater. I'm delighted to have a go-to company so close to us for any future plumbing needs.

I had an issue with my garbage disposal. After speaking with District Capital. He diagnosed my problem and gave me instructions to fix it myself over the phone, which worked. He offered to come out and take a look if I was not able to get it working. He certainly could have came over and made $300 but he did not. Unbelievable integrity. This a business that I would highly recommend.  I have used this business for several of my plumbing needs.  The response time was remarkable.  When they showed up, they were prompt, knowledge and gave real time estimates for the completion of the work.  Having contractors show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to complete a job with leaving no question unanswered is very important to me.  I have always been satisfied with the work completed.  Finding a reliable company to complete jobs can be difficult but when you find one, you treat it as gold, and DJ's pluming is that company that a value :o)  You won't be disappointed.

Called C&C as a representative for a roof leak I was having.  After looking at the issue, they suggested I call the insurance (which, TBH, I had not even considered) to try and save some money... low and behold, insurance came through with half an entire roof fix!!! C&C completed the work in a timely manner at an unbeatable price with quality work.  Since then, I've also used C&C for several other handyman issues around the house, including:

We are very happy with Opata Plumbing.  While visiting friends in Savage, Maryland, we were replacing an old vanity in our bathroom. We had already purchased the replacement and new new faucet but realized we needed help when one valves didn't turn off the water easily. We researched on Yelp and connected with a few plumbers with good ratings. Mathugh was responsive to my questions, reasonable in price (peace of mind with a flat rate for a tight budget project), and communicated well through the entire process.

Mathugh was professional, knowledgeable and friendly, even wore a mask during this crazy Covid time. He pointed out a leaky valve, which we were already concerned about a potential issue. Fortunately he was able to correct the issue before installing the vanity. Mathugh cleaned up his work site and removed our old vanity without us having to worry about it. He even took a moment to check out an unrelated possible gas leak at our old range top, and to educate us on the dangers of such leaks. He gave us great peace of mind after checking. We now have a plan to replace the old old gas stove top, but we also added a plan to pressure test the lines as soon as possible.

We enjoyed working with Opata Plumbing and will be calling again for additional home improvement and repair projects.  We recommend Mathugh Opata and his plumbing services. Even though the bathroom still needs an update, the new vanity makes it all more beautiful. We love our new vanity.

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done.  They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.

Drain Works was very responsive, prompt, and accomplished a ton in the short time Jorge was here. He fixed a toilet and our tankless water heater and serviced our gas fireplace all in one visit. He was courteous and professional- I would highly recommend.
