Best Plumbing Services in Washington DC
Carlo did a great job with moving a switch and adding an outlet for a wall mounted tv. Explaining what he was doing throughout the processes showed his expertise with electrical work. I highly recommend Reddick & Sons electricians based on the overall experience.

I've used Bob Kur for several plumbing repairs and projects including changing out water heater recently, installing shower plumbing, sink and garbage disposal, and relocating plumbing when we decided to remove a wall in our house. They've always been responsive, knowledgeable and quick to get the job done.

They came out twice in a few years to completely clean boiler and hvac.
Recently we had plumbing repairs and I casually mentioned that our boiler wasn't working well, to the new plumber we hired.
The new plumber is a bit of brainiac and is interested in everything.
He looked at the boiler and asked why the tank had ever been drained and also pointed out several other things that SILA should have done or noticed.
So we're really disgusted that their poor service over the years probably contributed to our boiler's decline.
And now we're horrified that when they cleaned the HVAC they never bothered cleaning the collected grease OFF the motor. It makes a BURNING smell when it kicks on their goofball tech said that was normal.
Do not use this company.

I had Thomas E Clark out twice now and I've been thoroughly impressed both times by their professionalism, knowledge, and honesty.
The first time was for a humidifier. They gave me all my options and the prices and carefully outlined the pros and cons of each. They eventually steered me towards the cheapest option. (It works great and installation was very professional, clean...) while I had the rep here I asked about an unrelated issue--getting my house to heat and cool more evenly. He told me my options again and honestly told me the highest cost one was probably not what I really wanted because it was best suited for when you're going to be opening up all the walls anyway. The rep gave me a free, easy idea to try and it worked! Wow.
This most recent time I had the plumbing guys out to discuss a backwater valve. The rep told me the pros and cons of the valve itself and evaluated my house's suitability for it/need for it. He basically told me it isn't necessary for me and would cause a huge mess and high costs.
Yet again since I had him here I asked about an unrelated issue-sewer gases getting into our house. Others I've talked to told me I'd need to rip out the walls and ceiling in the bathroom to get at the venting--very expensive. Thomas E Clark's guy looked at my problem and came up with a cheaper, less invasive solution to try first.
Common sense, honest HVAC and plumbing? I think I'm in love.

Most recent use was for the periodic A/C check, and with an advertised special rate. Technician Gary was professional and very thorough, as well as personable and polite. As good as it gets.

I am searching for a new plumbing company. This company does decent work and has installed a garbage disposal and hose bib for me but they trap you with their pricing model. This is the only business I've worked with that charges a service charge for someone to come out and give a quote if you decide not to have them do the work.
This pricing strategy leaves you trapped. Do you accept their quote or waste your money paying them to leave?
The quote they gave for this hose bib replacement felt very excessive to me and I have since had the opportunity to talk with other master plumbers that would have done the work for half the cost.
It was a short and easy job but overall I felt taken advantage of by this company.

I've been screwed over by many contractors as a Virginia resident of only 2 years. The experience with Plumb Professionals was so good I felt like I needed to write this review, and I've never done this.
Leo and his partner (I'm sorry I forgot your name) were excellent. Because of the Memorial Day weekend no other company (Home Depot, Lowe's and even the smaller ones) could fit me until after Tuesday, May 31, 2016. My water heater failed on May 27.
Leo was available the day my water heater failed (arrived at 5pm, Friday, May 27, 2016) and quickly diagnosed the issue (12 year old water heater finally died). Before he did anything I was impressed on how clean he was down to the boot covers he wore slipped on prior to entering my home. Leo patiently went over the options with me, and I ultimately decided to replace the water heater tank and a few other parts.
Within 24 hours (3:30pm, Saturday, May 28, 2016) Leo arrived with his partner to replace a water heater, outdoor hose bib, and another plumbing item that wasn't properly pressurizing the home plumbing system. He and his partner covered my wood floors and promptly went to work while answering any questions that I had. Within a few hours they were done, cleaned up and everything worked even better than before. I had friends over 30 minutes later, and they couldn't even tell a contractor had been there.
I have finally found a contractor that can be trusted. Take it from someone who has been screwed over many, many times. If you have a plumbing issue then don't hesitate to call Leo Rowitz at Plumb Professionals.

Drymount was a great company to work with. While my regular guy was too busy to respond to my emergency call, Drymount Air responded and arrived the same day. And when my A.C. essentially exploded again that same week, Sean and company came in with twice the man power to deal with the issue. A.C.'s been going strong for the past ten days with no complaints or issues. 10/10 service, cannot recommend enough. Thanks guys!

Quick and accommodating. Recognized issues and new how to resolve them. Great value.

We had a backyard bib pipe that was leaking somewhere in the wall. The plumber, Khalid, was absolutely remarkable! First when requesting a direct quote, his communication was quick, and pricing was very reasonable. Moreover, he communicated with me throughout the whole experience. I was able to show him a picture of what the situation was in advance so he could come in knowing what the issue was regarding. He arrived at our hour exactly when he estimated he was going to arrive, which was perfect. He was extremely knowledgeable about my leaking pipe and was able to correct the issue better than it was before as well as educate me on what most likely had caused the issue! In order to get to the pipe some of the drywall had to be removed, which he was able to do skillfully and cleanly. Furthermore, he was able to patch my drywall back three hundred times better than what it was before.
I don't understand how this service does not have more reviews because the work that was done was absolutely phenomenal and if there was a six star I could give, I would! Service, Communication, and knowledge was A+ and I will definitely use this service again if I run into trouble with my plumbing issues.

Called for emergency help and told to call for an apt Monday. When you have no water, it is an emergency and can't wait for Monday.

We had a mixed experience with DB's Plumbing and Drain. Our gas water heater broke, and our home warranty company enlisted DB's to come take a look at it.
PROS: The two plumbers who came out were very friendly and really seemed to know their stuff. They explained everything that needed to be done in layman's terms and were in no way pushy about non-essential repairs. They were patient with our questions about the repair process.
CONS: When DB's gave us their estimate, we saw that they hadn't planned on pulling the required county permit to replace a gas water heater. We asked them to do that, and the charge was going to be $375 for a $108 permit. That seemed high to us, so my wife offered to pull the permit for them. We couldn't get in touch with them quickly after that, and our home warranty company called later that day to say DB's couldn't help us because they don't do upgrades (we had requested a 50-gl heater to replace the broken 40-gl heater). That was frustrating because we'd been working with DB's for several days, they knew we wanted a larger water heater, and they never said that would be an issue.
We ended up going with a different plumbing service (who pulled the permit for $200). DB's didn't work out for us, but their plumbers did seem knowledgeable and were pleasant to work with.

Can't say enough good things about the work Carlton did. He was honest and meticulous and very careful to make sure the job got done right. It could have turned into a much bigger job but he took a very patient and conservative approach and got it done with the least amount of impact on the house. I'll use him again for sure.

Two plumbers came out quickly and were very courteous. They pulled off their shoes when I didn't even ask. This is the second time I used them with the same quality and quick service. When they say they will come out first thing they did both times. We will need a water heater soon and I would definitely use them.

This a business that I would highly recommend. I have used this business for several of my plumbing needs. The response time was remarkable. When they showed up, they were prompt, knowledge and gave real time estimates for the completion of the work. Having contractors show up with a positive attitude and a willingness to complete a job with leaving no question unanswered is very important to me. I have always been satisfied with the work completed. Finding a reliable company to complete jobs can be difficult but when you find one, you treat it as gold, and DJ's pluming is that company that a value :o) You won't be disappointed.

This was my first time using C&C Handyman Services and they were outstanding. On time, professional, clean, highly-knowledgeable, and handled all of the work we needed. Tremendous company!

OUTSTANDING service....10 stars! Fast response times with quotes that were lower than most. I requested a quote via Yelp while waiting for another service to arrive, which I had contacted 2 days prior. Not only did he respond within 15 minutes with a lower quote, he arrived to do the work within 3 hours of the request (which I selected ASAP). Great job communicating with updates on appointment time and his estimated arrival time. Work was done in record time, and there was no mess to clean up.

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done. They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.
And, Geoff, Mark, & Brian, our new master bathroom looks and functions beyond our expectations. Thank you!

Absolute professional! I called at 8am and spoke with Tony. We arranged a 11am service visit, same day. He showed up on time with his assistant, Mickey. Tony is a master plumber and it shows. He quickly diagnosed the cause of my problem and went to work immediately. Tony and Mickey were extremely pleasant to work with. He is honest and a down-to-earth good guy. I highly recommend Tony and will continue to call on Bagdasian plumbing for any future plumbing needs.

Drain works sent a very friendly technician who checked the installation of a new gas line to my oven and charged a minimum amount to come out. Recommend.
