Best Water Conditioner Repair in Washington DC

The valve stem for the hot water tap to the bath tub broke, which allowed the hot water to flow out of the faucet uncontrolled. The valve stem was made of plastic and pretty old so I wasn't surprised when it broke. I put the word out on Yelp and I chose Elite Plumbing. Even though they didn't come out when promised it didn't bother me because they sent a tech out the very next morning. My issue isn't with the work that was done, it's with charging me over $400 for less than 45 minutes of work and one part. If I could have found this part, I could have replaced it myself. That's how easy the fix was. However, when I contacted Elite about the charge, I was told it was a flat rate whether they were there one hour or 4 hours. Fine, but this should have been communicated  to me BEFORE they came out. If I would have known, I would have looked for other options. So far, I have not been contacted about trying to make this right. I'll update if they do.

Lynn's Plumbing gets an 11 out of 10 review. Yep, they are that good.  They extremely reasonable, extremely professional, and beyond competent. My plumbing professional for life. Dan the owner is unlike any other company owner. He is an owner and a worker. Very, very knowledgeable and polite to the customer and his staff.  Give these guys your business.

Great work and professional customer service.  My floor drain was backing up water from my washing machine. Shawn came out and immediately knew what the problem was. The price was very reasonable and even offered me military discount, as I am an active duty service member (prior Marine Infantry Corpsman). He tackled the problem and stuck to it until it was resolved.  He comes from a long line of service members, and it showed through his work.  Would highly recommend this company to others!! Thank you. Ooh-rah!!

Bob came to my house back in 2014(the day of my wedding reception) when my Freon was low, and literally in 20 minutes he said I will be back in a few years because you have a small leak but nothing to worry about right now.
Well now its 2016 (the day of my birthday party), and the whole unit keeps freezing and he says You need to replace it He gives me a quote.. comes back the next day and puts the new unit in and I am great! Both times Bob came, I had a house full of people and no air! How crazy is that!

Excellent experience. George was great to work with for swapping out 3 old toilets with 3 newer models. He is responsive, professional, and courteous. Bonus--no plumber's crack! Just kidding.

I appreciate his customer service in doing a job well done and cleaning up after himself. I did have a minor issue with one of the toilets (not his fault) after the toilet swap, and George fit me into his schedule ASAP to address it with no if's and's or but's!

I'll hire him for future projects!

This company states on their Yelp profile that they will give you a quote for the job, so I described the issue in great detail and emailed them.  They replied immediately ... but not with a quote.  Instead they said they would assess a service charge for coming to my house, and they would only provide a quote once they looked things over.  Very deceitful.  I emailed them about the false advertising and they just deleted my conversation.

Excellent Service! I called this afternoon and explained the clogging situation in one of my bathrooms. Toilet kept clogging and now the sink and tub were always backing up with water. We had no idea what could be the problem.

I called Doug up and came right out to help with our problem. He had everything cleared up just under an hour. He came in and went straight to work. Now our bathroom is functional again.

I would definitely give them a call next time we have plumbing issues!!!!

Had an emergency clog. Were quoted $400 for the first hour of emergency service. Charged an additional $60 for the use of hose equipment to clear clog, but weren't told until after. So for a 45 minute service, charged $460. Seems a bit outrageous.

They got the job done. It was clean a percise and they got it done in a reasonable time frame would try again.

They have the worst customer service! I just spoke to a woman about exchanging my hot water heater and her question to me was the whole hot water heater? When I told her yes, she stated they didn't  do that type of work, although according to the manufacturer's website, they do. When I asked to speak to the manager, she hung up on me. I would never give them my business!
