Jesse was able to fix our heat pump when another company couldn't even figure out what was wrong. He also found and fixed a problem with our main control board, and now the system is running better than it ever has. They also did NOT try to sell me any subscriptions or maintenance plans! Will definitely call these folks again next time.

Mr. Mehran comes highly recommended. Of the companies I reached out to, he was both the most responsive and the best overall quote. I needed a garbage disposal replaced due to the previous one experiencing a significant leak. Mr. Mehran was very communicative with his availability, and was diligent in informing me of when he would be able to come by on the short notice that I provided (hard to live w/o a working sink!). He arrived on-time, was well organized, and professional. He didn't even ask me for a review, so this is coming because it is well-earned. We have used Thomas E Clark before, and so I called them to service a toilet. They came the next day, when they said they would. Davon was totally suited out in protective gear: face mask, gloves and booties for his shoes. Turns out we needed a new toilet, and he had one on the truck! He replaced ours immediately, left a totally clean space and was out the door in an hour. I call that excellent service, at a reasonable price. Thank you, Clark!

We've used Snell for a few years and previously had good experiences with them. I recently contacted them for an estimate to replace my AC system and was subjected to high-pressure sales tactics by the salesman they sent to do the estimate. He quoted an extremely high price and then offered to reduce the price by more than $2000 if I agreed to have the job done the next day, citing idle crews as the reason for this generosity on their part. Plus, I never received the email proposal he promised me. Needless to say I am using another contractor. They are rated 5 stars and will do the job for $500 LESS than the Snell must act today $2000 discount offer -- and are installing a better AC unit to boot. Very disappointing Snell!

We recently had a well line leaking, and would like to give a shout out to Tim, Wayne, BJ, and the crew for the great service and attention to details. The work required a bobcat in the yard and they did a great job keeping disruption to a minimum. We had something to be addressed after the initial work was complete, and Bj and Wayne came out in the excessive heat to address the issue. Thank you again for GREAT customer service! I had Drymount Air come in to provide a second estimate after another HVAC company in the DC area told me my entire furnace needed to be replaced. It turns out that my furnace was fine, and that I didn't need a total replacement, which saved me several thousands of dollars. I'm very glad that I had Drymount come out and provide a second opinion. Communication was prompt and smooth throughout.

My family and just returned from vacation last night to discover we had no hot water. I went through the yelp find a business and Kahlid responded within 15 mins and was able to come out to the house within 2 hours! He was able to fix the issue and we are good to go. I had them come out for a leaking spigot. They were able to come the next day, and got the job done quickly. Very professional, courteous, and friendly. Everything seems to have been done right, and they took excellent care of the property. The tech did a great job. The estimate they gave me was basically right, time and materials ended up being within 10% of what they quoted. They'll be my first call next time I need plumbing help!

Today we discovered our sewer line was backed up into our basement! OH, THE HORROR.
However, after recalling a friendly plumber experience at our business, we reached for the phone & called up ol' DB's Plumbing & Drain.

Within an hour a professional & knowledgeable member of DB's team greeted us at our door. WHEW. What a relief! Especially when there is sewage involved.

When you're dealing with this type of (literal) sh*t, it's hard to care how much something costs, because in the name of all that is holy you just want it to be fixed! But, even with that inflated-sense of bank account, we found the pricing to be TOTALLY REASONABLE.

So, if you want a company who is upfront, does it right, reasonably & with a smile on their face, this is the one.

Muhammad came out and accessed the issue of my sink faucet very quickly. A few days later he came back and installed the new faucet in record time. It looks great and works perfect. He also took the time to check on an issue I was having with shower. I will definitely continue to use them for my plumbing needs and appreciate the quick responses. I had an issue with my garbage disposal. After speaking with District Capital. He diagnosed my problem and gave me instructions to fix it myself over the phone, which worked. He offered to come out and take a look if I was not able to get it working. He certainly could have came over and made $300 but he did not. Unbelievable integrity. Mathugh was a very knowledgeable plumber and I am glad he was able to make it out on the same day which I requested. Out of the five quotes I received, he responded quickly and provided a great price. My dishwasher issue was promptly resolved and fixed to the standard and codes as it should have been previously. My condo does not so good workmanship. I'll definitely be using Mathugh again!

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done.  They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.
