Best Sink Installation in Washington DC

These guys are great.  I've used them on a few jobs doing home renovations.  Most recently, I had them change out all of the sink fixtures and a few other little repairs.  Their staff is knowledgeable, friendly, and they do a great job.  Keep up the good work.

There's a reason it's 5 stars on Yelp across the board. Highly recommend. Needed 2 ceiling fans installed. They were super efficient and very reasonable. Did excellent work. Will absolutely call upon them again.

The technician that came to my house was incredibly honest and instead of steering me to an expensive repair, chose the inexpensive solution. I can't say how much I appreciate this.  I'll use Plumb exclusively for my future pluming needs.

Sean and his team have been incredibly responsive and helpful during my AC outage. They were able to fix my AC within a few days of me reaching out and provided a very reasonable quote and did great work. We had a backyard bib pipe that was leaking somewhere in the wall. The plumber, Khalid, was absolutely remarkable! First when requesting a direct quote, his communication was quick, and pricing was very reasonable. Moreover, he communicated with me throughout the whole experience. I was able to show him a picture of what the situation was in advance so he could come in knowing what the issue was regarding. He arrived at our hour exactly when he estimated he was going to arrive, which was perfect. He was extremely knowledgeable about my leaking pipe and was able to correct the issue better than it was before as well as educate me on what most likely had caused the issue! In order to get to the pipe some of the drywall had to be removed, which he was able to do skillfully and cleanly. Furthermore, he was able to patch my drywall back three hundred times better than what it was before.

I don't understand how this service does not have more reviews because the work that was done was absolutely phenomenal and if there was a six star I could give, I would! Service, Communication, and knowledge was A+ and I will definitely use this service again if I run into trouble with my plumbing issues.

Called for emergency help and told to call for an apt Monday. When you have no water, it is an emergency and can't wait for Monday.

Today we discovered our sewer line was backed up into our basement! OH, THE HORROR.
However, after recalling a friendly plumber experience at our business, we reached for the phone & called up ol' DB's Plumbing & Drain.

Within an hour a professional & knowledgeable member of DB's team greeted us at our door. WHEW. What a relief! Especially when there is sewage involved.

When you're dealing with this type of (literal) sh*t, it's hard to care how much something costs, because in the name of all that is holy you just want it to be fixed! But, even with that inflated-sense of bank account, we found the pricing to be TOTALLY REASONABLE.

So, if you want a company who is upfront, does it right, reasonably & with a smile on their face, this is the one.

Mr. Carlton was superb! We reached out to Exceptional Plumber when we felt we were being ripped off by a national brand company known world -wide and for the sake of not being sued in this sue happy country of ours, I will not mention their name, yet I wish I could. The company name being with a L and end with the Plumber. Exceptional Plumber came and did the job for far less than the plumber we called, wanted for to do the job. The other company wanted almost one thousand dollars and then wanted to sell us a new toilet. Way to do business. Not Exceptional Plumber. Mr. Carlton told us what the price would be up front and did an exceptional job to the point that when he was finish, we were surprised it did not take long and the toilet is running like new. We are about to bring them back to do another job in our other bathroom. Thank You Exceptional Plumber for placing consumer confidence back in the plumbing business.

Donzelle was awesome.  We had an emergency plumbing situation (backup flowing up through my tenant's shower drain...pretty gross), and Donzelle was the first person to respond to my requests.  His communication was excellent throughout, his prices were fair, and he responded immediately.  He was also able to work with the tenant to find a time that worked best for everybody for follow-up work.  He didn't try to upsell or pressure us based on the situation and his quality of work was fantastic.  Sent pictures and updates throughout, cleaned up, and my tenant also reported that he was very satisfied.  Super professional, 5 stars.

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done.  They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.

I was going to try and fix a shower faucet and found that my main water shut off valve wouldn't move. I called Drain Works and a real human answered the phone! She was nice and helpful and scheduled somebody to come out the next morning. Jorge came the next morning and listened to the situation. He was able to shut off the water and showed me how to do it.  The valve was plastic and required most of my strength to turn it. I was worried that my other family members wouldn't be able to do that in an emergency, so Jorge was able to quote me the cost of replacing that old plastic valve with a new high quality valve that is easier to operate. Not only that, but he was able to replace the valve right away, it didn't take long at all, I was surprised how quickly it was done, and when he heard that I am a new first time homeowner, he gave me some great tips about things like shutting off the outdoor faucets in the winter and showed me how to do it. The whole time Jorge was friendly and helpful, and never pushy. I'm definitely going to call Drain Works again next time I need any plumbing work done.

After: picture was of bathroom being remodeled. Friendly workers, he responded to messages and contacts quickly. Would definitely recommend to family and friends.

Five appointments later and the job is still not done. We have been very understanding when we have had to be rescheduled due to emergencies or emergency plumbing issues with an appointment before ours. Even when our fourth appointment was a no call no show we rescheduled with this company. However, today was the last straw. Another no call no show. What a great way to waste a Saturday afternoon. Now we are searching for a company who actually respects their customers and shows up when they are scheduled to.

We had been experiencing numerous sewage backups over the last month, and this was the first plumber to properly diagnose that we had a broken sewer line rather than just throwing a snake in the line and calling it done like the others had done.  We spoke with Gus, who is a great communicator by the way, and he was able to set up the work in 48 hours, which was super appreciated since I had been using an airsnake almost daily at that point so that both us and our tenants weren't experiencing backups.  Jason came both times, and his hard work on this to get everything squared away is something you don't always see these days, and is extremely appreciated.  He kept me up to date, showed me what he was doing, and was able to repair our sewer in a day.  These guys will be my go-to plumber now--their prices are fair, they show up when they say they will, they work hard, and they aren't afraid to get a little dirty.  I have nothing but good things to say about my experience with them.  Thank you Gus and Jason!

Thanks to yelp I came across this company for a clogged toilet! They came out at the time they said they would, got the job done fast and even charged me less then what was originally quoted! Thank you Ehrhardt Brothers you have a customer for life

Carlos Reed was my Sila technician. He came on time. He was ver efficient. Did everything that was needed. Very nice and professional.

I would definitely not recommend Snell Home Services. I called and requested a tune up of my HVAC system for the $49 special advertised on their website and when the technician arrived, he immediately stated I would need a new system and the trip charge would increase to $100 because I didn't get a tune up. The technicians are not trained to provide an estimate, so the following day a sales person came to the property and wasted an hour of my evening. This company is not honest and uses a timeshare like sales pitch where they inflate the price by 50% and hope you don't know anything about the price of a new system so the sales person can walk away with a few thousand dollar commission. I understand that everyone needs to make money, but every other company I know adds their standard mark up and provides an estimate and it's up to you whether you want to move forward or not. I definitely did not appreciate their shady sales tactics and the fact they reduced their original price by 50% by the end of the hour conversation solidified the fact I don't want to to business with a shady company like this one. They would not refund the $100 even though their website states estimates are free. I unknowingly referred this company to someone else before I had this experience and they shared the same experience, so I am warning everyone out there if you want a new HVAC system, do not use this company or they will make a substantial profit at your expense.

I guess the DC and MD locations are tied together.  I went by the ratings for the DC location when I setup an appointment.  

I was floored by the estimate for replacing two undersink water valves and removing old dishwasher/installing the new.

$900+

I know enough to know that was absurd.  Still had to pay a $99.00 charge for them just to show up.  BEWARE!  BE SMART
