I had two household projects:  replacing our AC, coil, and thermostat, and installing a plug-in hybrid electric vehicle (PHEV) charger in our garage.  After talking to three companies, Reddick had the most competitive AC quote, and after talking to two electricians, Reddick's quote was slightly more expensive but they came out to the house to assess the situation, which gave me more confidence.

With respect to both projects, they were extremely responsive, professional, and respectful of my home and my family.  The two technicians who spent all day upgrading my AC system went above and beyond by responding appropriately to my very curious young son who wanted to know what they were doing when he came home.  When an issue arose with wiring the smart thermostat I wanted, they installed a temporary digital thermostat and came back two days later to diagnose the issue and install the one I wanted.  And as to the PHEV charger, they managed to run the appropriate wiring from the utility room on one side of the house to the garage on the other with functionally zero damage to my drywall, and the PHEV charger looks outstanding on my garage wall.

Overall, I have been extremely impressed with Reddick and would recommend them to those on this site.

We had just moved into our new house and noticed that the expansion tank on the water heater was solely being supported by the PVC pipe connected to it and flimsy plastic strap attached to the exposed trusses of the house. I had These guys take a look and as I suspected, it wasn't sustainable or a good idea to leave it this way. We also wanted a new toilet and shower head installed in the master bath so we scheduled to have them come and address each of these items. We tried to schedule it with a furniture delivery to kill two birds with one stone as far as being home on a weekday since we both work. Staton plumbing was very accommodating and moved some things around to make that happen. Two days after scheduling, the furniture delivery was changed and I was worried that we wouldn't be able to reschedule with Staton giving that they had already moved things around. To my surprise they did reschedule within the window convenient to us, which was a breath of fresh air as far as contractors go to say the least. Above and beyond in my opinion.

Josh and Matt showed up promptly on time and with a very professional appearance and demeanor. They got directly to work, starting with the toilet. We have a 3 story town house and they were especially careful carrying the toilet up and bringing the old one down. It was literally removed and installed faster than I ever imagined possible. They then rapidly installed the shower head and in the process secured it. I should mention that the old shower head kind of floated around against the wall, not secured very well. No more, they installed the new shower head and fixed this problem as well. On to the water heater, and once again completed in a much shorter time span than I could have ever expected. When finished the expansion tank was now beyond secure and all PVC was replaced with copper, which also made me feel better.

This was all completed in an hour and a half. We never even noticed the water to the house had been valved off. They left literally no trace that they had been there besides the new fixtures and a setup at my water heater that I feel much more confident in the quality of. Not a crumb on our carpets, drop of water or trash in the room with the water heater, nothing. All of this for a price that was beyond reasonable in my opinion. Compared to other companies that quoted me, it was slightly less, but given their professionalism, accommodations to our needs, efficiency, and the quality of the workmanship, I would have happily paid more. I'm not just saying that, so hard to find a good reliable plumber or any trade for that matter. Highly recommend them and will be using them for any of our plumbing needs in the future.

I communicated through Yelp, asked for a ballpark price on a job I needed a plumber to do.  They got back to me very quickly and the price ended up being the exact amount I paid.  The job was professionally done, the work looks great the plumber was a heck of a nice guy and I would not hesitate to recommend them to others or use them again myself.  Truly a 5 star interaction.

I had them come out for a leaking spigot. They were able to come the next day, and got the job done quickly. Very professional, courteous, and friendly. Everything seems to have been done right, and they took excellent care of the property. The tech did a great job. The estimate they gave me was basically right, time and materials ended up being within 10% of what they quoted. They'll be my first call next time I need plumbing help!

We called DB's out to look at some very poorly done plumbing work in a house that we had just purchased. Michael came out and was very thorough in his initial evaluation. He explained everything that was wrong and how he would go about fixing it. He was very respectful. On the day he came to do the repairs he arrived early in the morning and stayed clear through until midnight making sure that all repairs were done correctly, documented correctly, and working correctly. Hands down one of the best services I have ever had the pleasure of doing business with. Would highly recommend this company to anyone who is looking for a plumber.

Donzelle was awesome.  We had an emergency plumbing situation (backup flowing up through my tenant's shower drain...pretty gross), and Donzelle was the first person to respond to my requests.  His communication was excellent throughout, his prices were fair, and he responded immediately.  He was also able to work with the tenant to find a time that worked best for everybody for follow-up work.  He didn't try to upsell or pressure us based on the situation and his quality of work was fantastic.  Sent pictures and updates throughout, cleaned up, and my tenant also reported that he was very satisfied.  Super professional, 5 stars.

Extraordinary!!  We had a tricky project -- prep'ing the plumbing on a yacht for a new washing machine.   Even though he saw some non-standard plumbing, Matt used his experience and creativity to save the day.  It was more involved than he expected, but he just identified the problems and solved them.  What a great attitude ... he never doubted that he could work things out.  We recommend highly Opata Plumbing.

Drain Works is definitely a company I would recommend and use again. I called Jorge to get my gas fireplace working again after not using it for 3 years. He arrived on time which is a big plus in my book. He was able to diagnose the problem and even discovered a function of the fire place I had no idea about. He didn't have a particular part and went out to a local hardware store to pick it up.  He and his assistant were able to repair it fast and efficient. Couldn't be happier.

I called for a plumber to diagnose some ceiling damage in a closet below a bathroom. The plumber came out and said the damage was old and there was no active leak. One week later, my plasterer arrived and said he could not fix the damage because the area was soaking wet. He said it was likely a wax ring needed in the toilet upstairs and cut an opening in the ceiling for the plumber to view and diagnose. I called to request a plumber and found the receptionist to be a bit short, aggressive, and rude. She did send a plumber out the same day, which I greatly appreciate. The plumber replaced the wax ring and also the toilet flapper. The charge was $400, which I found to be quite high (service fee was waived). I didn't have the luxury of comparison shopping, but have since found other plumbers who would do the same hour's worth of work at half the cost.

Very prompt and quick repair. Quote received before repair performed. Explained why it happened and what needed to be done to fix it. Also recommended a few things in the basement, like insulating the ductwork prior to sheetrock. Very nice crew. :)

We had an emergency problem where water was appearing in our basement, and it looked like a main sewer backup.  We had this problem before just had a few months prior. So on a Saturday morning (my birthday no less) I sent out a frantic yelp cry to a couple businesses. Gus responses within minutes before  10am on a Saturday. He responded that because this had happened before, it was time to put a camera down to see what was going on. This was great! I like people who are trying to solve the problem instead of dealing with the symptom. I told him it was my birthday and asked if there was any way we could get a window of time so we wouldn't have to be home all day waiting (which I would have dealt with because it was all so last minute). Minutes later he tells me he has  people on the way already! He also pointed me to his website where there were coupons. What kind of company points you to their own coupons? Great ones? Less than two hours after the initial message, we had folks in our house.

To top it off, they identified the problem for us. It wasn't a clog in the drain, but we had more serious issues and took the time to explain it. He showed me the issue on the camera and he even offered to put 50% of our payment from that day's service towards the much more costly repairs which we have to do to fix the pipe.

In sum, incredibly professional, very friendly and kind guys to work with that we will use exclusively now for all our plumbing needs.

I have no complaints with this company. The plumber showed up on time, gave me a fair price and fixed the problem. I believe it's a small company so you may have to leave a message and he will call you back. I will use him again and recommend him to family and friends

I had a broken valve and a longstanding issue with the level breaking on my toilet. Elliott replied to my estimate request quickly with a fair price and offered to come out the next morning (a Saturday). He showed up on time, explained why my problem was reoccurring, and fixed it promptly. I wouldn't hesitate to call him again!

I had a leaking shut off valve on the waterline to a remote garage a couple hundred feet away. This was during that recent cold snap we had where every plumber was busy thawing out pipes and repairing frozen pipes but I called Mahon plumbing and Chris immediately said give me a minute and I'll call you back he did and had a guy stop in my house between jobs within a couple hours And he brought everything he needed because I had sent a picture of the situation and from that they analyzed it then the guy showed up with all the tools he needed and a truck full of spare parts. He had the latest pipe connecting technology I knew the days of gas flames and soldering were probably gone And there's the technology that's available to us amateurs where we can push. The pipes together is also surpassed now they had the latest connection technology and the equipment they needed to implement it and I got a beautiful job done in no time at all and I stood and watched a technician, and he explained every step he was doing and it was really educational experience and then for a very reasonable price it was fixed, and he was out of there. so I gave them a five star rating For the way they operated so professionally.

Great company to do business with! Every time I've call for service I'm greeted professionally & pleasantly which is a nice change from a lot of companies out there. They are quick to respond and their techs are knowledgeable and keep good communication of what the problem is as well as what caused the problem, and then the options to resolve the issue. Highly recommend...my go to plumbing and HVAC company.
