Best HVAC System Maintenance in Washington DC

We had a great overall experience with Reddick and Sons.  They came out quickly to assess a leaky hot water faucet in the bathroom that was progressively getting worse and draining our tank.  After ordering specialty tools online and multiple DIY attempts we could not get the valve off and surrendered.  Not only was the job done professionally and efficiently but Danny went above and beyond.  He could not remove the valve initially either and thought they might have to break through the shower tile to do the repair.  However Danny came up with a brilliant, out-of-the-box solution and returned with an automotive wrench.  Our leaky faucet was fixed and our shower tile remains intact.  :)  These guys are knowledgeable, friendly, and honest and do a fantastic job!

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done.  They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.

I have used Brendan for nearly 15 years for ALL of my HVAC installs, upgrades and service calls and consider myself to be very fortunate to have such a reliable, honest and trustworthy contractor working for me. It's a relief to not have to worry about being charged for unnecessary repairs when I place a service call to Brendan. He has always properly and efficiently diagnosed all HVAC issues that I have presented him with and provided several options/routes to take based on what is the most financially feasible for the situation and NEVER has tried to sell me a part or service that wasn't absolutely necessary. In fact, Brendan has, on many occasions, put in extra time and work in order to save me expenses when he could. Brendan has been a valuable asset and has become a good friend over the years! One encounter with him and you'll become a customer for life, never needing to call anyone else for your HVAC needs, as well as becoming an advocate for his work, not hesitating to recommend him to ANYONE!

Snell proves that there are no sure things in this life, including a thrice-confirmed appointment. They offer a ready supply of canned excuses for failing to show up (due to a shortage of technicians. . ., we're unable to service your unit because we didn't install it), all deployed with commendable cold-heartedness once they've locked you in. You'd admire their talent for double-speak if you weren't tearing your hair out. Makes sense that they're in the air conditioning dodge; they've got a heart of ice.

My experiences with Clover have been great. They have a very responsive customer service team and great HVAC and plumbing techs. They really do care about the customer experience!

Best repair experience ever! Came home at night to find our furnace dead. They came out first thing in the morning (because there was no option for sourcing parts at night). We made the decision to replace the old furnace, and they had it done within a couple of hours on New Year's Eve!

Communication was the best- every step was explained with honest assessments of the situation.  And they left the place as clean as it was before they arrived!

Our toilet got flooded due to the refrigerator. He agreed to fix our bathroom ceiling with paint and living room ceiling for $600 total. Once he started working he started complaining and started saying its too much work i and I am just helping you we paid him $300 to get the supplies. He messed up our walls and said he never said he will be painting the whole ceiling. This guy was trying to find ways to get more money out. He simply refused him and asked him to leave. We were not going to pay more for the job which is still unfinished and very poor job. Now he started to post my pictures my kid's pictures my house pictures on social media and he has started to harass me and my wife. I would not recommend this person at all. If anything happens to me or my family this guy Edward would be responsible

Troy was fantastic.  Responded and came out the same day I reached out to him.  Very polite and respectable of my home when he came inside.  He assessed the problem and had a solution quickly and I haven't had any issues since.  Will definitely use him again if I need any services

As I was planning to do a load of laundry which is located in the basement, I noticed water was dripping from the pipes.  

Aw, dammit!

I looked online for a plumber and saw Spartan.  I liked that you could submit a service request with options for dates and time along with contact information for them to reach you.  I thought I'd try asking for today.

Within 10 minutes, I got a call from Spartan.  After explaining my situation, they were able to come out the same day within a couple of hours.

True to their words, two guys arrived and inspected the watery mess.  The leak turned out to be from the icemaker of the refrigerator on the floor above.  They even went out to find a replacement.  They returned and replaced the supply line.

And the bill was decent.  At least, it didn't cost an arm and a leg.

I'll definitely contact them should I ever have such problems.
