Best Generator Repair in Washington DC

I had a few little electrical projects that were piling up around the house and beyond my basic homeowner skills. Carlo was fantastic. He worked very quickly but also took the time to explain some of the quirks of my house and where I had gone wrong. Exactly what you want in an electrician.

This is a VERY LONG review, so here's the TL;DR (Too Long; Didn't Read) version:
TL;DR Review:
This company is honest, respectful and courteous.  They went above and beyond on multiple occasions for me.  If you have lost faith in the service industry but need your system repaired, replaced or serviced.  Give them a shot.  They are worth every cent (probably more but don't tell them so their rates stay the same).

Full Review:
For starters, this was right when Summer was hitting so I was on a tight deadline to get my system replaced.  This all started because one of my units wasn't working properly.  After the technician repaired it he noticed ice around my other units cables as well as some other things.  He put towels down to ensure my basement didn't flood once the system began defrosting.  I'm sure this technician believed this and was not trying to get one over on me.  I don't think for a second that/that technician was being dishonest.  Now, on to the review:

OHA Heating and Air was not only the least expensive (I'm not going to say cheapest because it's still expensive!) but they were also the most honest group of people I came across.  They didn't try to upsell me or get me to make unnecessary modifications to my existing system.  The thing that really stuck out to me was that when I initially called them over for a quote on replacing my system the owner came over and told me the issues I was experiencing was likely due to dirty filters.  He finished the quote, told me to change my filters and let him know if I still want it replaced.  I changed my filters and my system worked like a champ.  As it turns out, I didn't need to get it replaced (unless I wanted to).  I quickly went from urgently needing to get someone out to my house and replace my A/C system to being able to take some time and think everything through.

I ended up getting the system replaced and couldn't be any happier.  The technician's that came out were Cody and Trevor.  These two were the most professional and polite technicians that I have met in a very long time (the owner Brenden aside of course).  They answered my questions in detail and ensured I understood everything they were saying.  They immediately placed booties over their shoes so they wouldn't mess up my carpet and worked the whole time without a complaint.  I couldn't be any happier with these two.  They took away my old system and left my home without a trace of them ever being there (with the exception of the new system of course).  They changed out my filters (it took about a month for me to make a final decision) and said something that really stuck with me when I told them not worry about it.  I'm paraphrasing what Cody told me because the sentiment is what stuck with me, not the words exactly: Our priority is making sure you are taken care of and if it's something small that's outside of the scope of the original work it doesn't matter.  We'd rather leave you happy.  Both Cody and Trevor behaved and worked as though this company is theirs and they wanted to leave the best impression possible.  

Lastly, the manager made multiple site visits to ensure I was satisfied with what was being done.  He was very attentive to my questions as well and then did something that I was definitely NOT expecting.  They had some extra compound sealant and went around my home finding areas that could use it.  The manager told me they had this extra stuff and could either take it back or use it if my home needed it.  He said he'd rather put it to use in my house.  I was shocked.  They continued to go above and beyond.  I can't recommend them enough!

The 5 stars is solely based on my experience with Royal. He was professional, patient and willing to answer any questions. He installed the light without any damage and worked quickly and quietly. More than anything.. thanks for being on time .

I appreciate the quality however, I recommend a more streamline booking process. Overall I'm pleased .

Was reluctant at first given the monumental task of adding a new zone to an attic and all the accompanying details that had to go right. But once I saw the juan, jorge and bryan trio crew get to work I knew they knew their stuff. They exceeded my expectations on handling the details and that says a lot for a particularly annoying customer like myself. They put down tarps each morning & cleaned up each night. You wouldnt know they were there each day other than the work was getting done on time and -- I even got daily updates (try get that from another hvac place). From sales (Mike J) to the crew to post sales - they took care of it soup to nuts and did it right.

I have a light fixture that I replaced the bulbs in and the bulbs have been randomly turning on and off. I called Marines Service and they responded the fastest. The electrician that came over was very personable and very professional. He laid out the expectation right from the start: that despite the light fixture looking new, this kind of problem may require a replaced light fixture. I wasn't prepared to replace the fixture and he did something that made it slightly better. While he was here, I asked if he could fix a J box that wasn't flush with the ceiling which caused a light fixture to not sit flush against the ceiling. He was able to determine how long it would take, and it took him that long to fix it. I highly recommend Marines Service for any electrician work.

This should sum up the customer care Michael and Son's gives their customers...

They missed 4 scheduled appointments and then during another scheduled appointment the gentleman left a note on my home stating Please be here next time it really cost me 3 hours of work. (the same guy who did not show without a call). Taking off 4 days of work was no concern of Michael and Sons. (that costs me over $1000)

I had about $10,000 worth of work done in my home and MANY plumbers from Michael and Son's said some of the work that was done was very poor and needs to be redone.

Save your money, time, and sanity call another company.

After many calls and negotiations about price adjustments. I decided to give them a second chance.

I even called the gentleman I was working with to schedule the second appointment in hopes the 2nd time would be better.

The same customer service continued, do not waste your time. Going to the library and reading a book...would make you more apt than them.
