Best Faucet Repair in Washington DC

I first contacted Reddick & Sons for a second opinion when our home warranty service company told us we needed to replace our entire HVAC system. Rather than blindly trusting this other company and dropping thousands of dollars, I figured I would ask if Reddick & Sons--a company with a stellar reputation--if they concurred with the assessment. I'm glad I did this, because after a free inspection, we were told that we did not need to replace our system after all. I knew I would be using Reddick & Sons for all of our home services that I could from this point on!

Fast forward a couple months when we needed to get a chandelier installed for some much-needed light in our living room. I worked with Sherelle to find a date for their electrician to give us a free estimate. The electrician came out, checked the ceiling area, asked some questions, and explained his plan. He noted that the would have to cut into the drywall to install a switch. (They do not do drywall repair, which I appreciated he told me up front.) We also wanted to get a dimmer switch installed, which he said wouldn't be a problem.

Once we approved the estimate, I got in touch with Sherelle again to make the appointment for the installation. (The only frustration is that the day of the original appointment they called to say they had a morning installation that was going to take too long, so they couldn't keep our afternoon appointment. However, they were very polite about this and made sure to leave a note to not change the second appointment.) Overall, their communication is stellar, whether through email or via phone.

The electrician did a great job of hanging the chandelier and ensuring that it worked properly with the dimmer switch. He took care of our home, making sure to drape a cloth on the floor and over a display shelf to prevent drywall dust from getting everywhere. He was professional and efficient. We've had the chandelier up for a few weeks now and it's worked perfectly. We wouldn't hesitate to use Reddick & Sons for any of our future home project needs!

I cannot even begin to express my frustration, dissatisfaction, and utter confusion with my recent experience with Sila.

We called Sila over the weekend as we had an emergency water situation and we needed our main water line turned off. The technician came out and turned our water off and we informed them that we still needed help. We waited until Tuesday morning to call Sila back as it was a holiday weekend to get someone scheduled as soon as possible to come out to our house to take a look at and fix the issue because our water now has been turned off for several days and we have a baby.

We spoke with both Rachel and Deanna and there was confusion between them and they Conti next to ask us lwhy we still needed service, did someone in fact come out, and what the issue was. We finally were able to explain to Deanna that we still needed someone to come out as obviously we had already had someone turn our water off and to come as soon as possible given that we are now several days without water. She told us she would give my husband a call back that day (Tuesday) and for him in the meantime to send pictures of our faucet in the bathroom. He did that and she told us she was contacting a warehouse.  

We did not hear back from them that day and went ahead and called a different plumber who was able to come out the very next morning because we were suffering at this point and  stressed out given the fact we have a baby.  (By the way, they got the part from Lowe's and fixed the problem easily in a few hours)

We did not hear back from anybody from Sila until Friday when Deanna asked us if we still wanted to schedule someone as the warehouse might have our part.

We told her no and then she said she needed to collect payment from the person who turned off our water last weekend.   I explained to her the frustration we had and she was very hesitant to offer any explanation and even told us she did not know our water had been turned off - I had to remind her that was why she was calling for payment. Needless to say, we will NOT ever be doing business with Sila.

Called for routine maintenance on two AC units.  No quote on the phone, other than the $69 service call.  Both units less than 5 years old, so nothing broken.  Quote at the house- $369, plus the service fee.  $400+ for this work is outrageous.  I should have sent him away, but I already took time off work to meet him.  Will use All-Pro Services or Polar Bear AC next time.  They've charged about $90 per unit in the past.

Just had a remarkably pleasant service performed by Moe. Honestly, the best service I've ever had. Many technicians will push you out, do the work, and as the customer, you're left wondering what the state of your system is in, beyond whether it's simply working or not working. Moe walked me through each step of the process, not only explaining the what, but also the why. I now know more about our air filtering unit and heat pump than I've ever known, and I feel more confident as a result.

To Snell: You know how to pick 'em! Moe is a great asset to your team, and as someone who's a relatively new homeowner, it's incredibly valuable for me to learn about these things more in depth so that I really feel like I own my house and its various appliances and systems. Thanks, Moe!

Jack is great. Super considerate and listened to me about the leak problem. He didn't dismiss me or try one fix to show an attempt. He checked everything to make sure the leak was fixed. He cleaned up the site. He wore his  the entire time. Jack was knowledgeable about fixing leaks and other plumbing tasks. I'll request him if we have any other plumbing requests.

Very professional indeed. Had an issue with a clogged bathroom sink and it was taken care of along with replacing something under kitchen sink. Text received on job and communication was superb. Pricing was very fair as well. Louis did a great job clear cleaning up and fixing our problem. The owner Leo is a good guy.

After the first visit I noticed a leak and they came back and fixed it no charge by Michael.

Definitely will call again for any plumbing issues.

Got an estimate and scheduled very quickly on a Sunday, and came out the next day.

Sean and Adam replaced my old water heater and did a great job. They had a few curve balls with the setup in my home, but were able to solve the problems and get everything running properly in just a couple of hours.  They also did my AC coil while they were here, after noticing it needed a cleaning and did good work.

Great service, friendly, and professional. I'll definitely hire them again in the future.

We had a backyard bib pipe that was leaking somewhere in the wall. The plumber, Khalid, was absolutely remarkable! First when requesting a direct quote, his communication was quick, and pricing was very reasonable. Moreover, he communicated with me throughout the whole experience. I was able to show him a picture of what the situation was in advance so he could come in knowing what the issue was regarding. He arrived at our hour exactly when he estimated he was going to arrive, which was perfect. He was extremely knowledgeable about my leaking pipe and was able to correct the issue better than it was before as well as educate me on what most likely had caused the issue! In order to get to the pipe some of the drywall had to be removed, which he was able to do skillfully and cleanly. Furthermore, he was able to patch my drywall back three hundred times better than what it was before.

I don't understand how this service does not have more reviews because the work that was done was absolutely phenomenal and if there was a six star I could give, I would! Service, Communication, and knowledge was A+ and I will definitely use this service again if I run into trouble with my plumbing issues.

These guys are amazing! The plumber came on time, wearing a mask as they mentioned he would. Replaced my sump pump, cleaned the bottom of the sump pump well and tested the second dump pump. Then he installed a new kitchen faucet. He was very quick and the cost was quite affordable. JF Plumbing is now on our list for awesome plumbers!!!!

So I hired this company to estimate changing all the pipes in my home before I moved in 2018 Jan. They charged me $39 something for just inspection and estimate. Okay. Then the plumber called me with a quote of $11000 and also told me my water heater is cold and dying. I laughed off and hired another licensed professional. Other company changed the pipes of my entire house for $5500 and said water heater is good. Fast forward to 2021, water heater is still working like a champ with $0 maintenance. Avoid them for large and planned jobs.

Update: They are saying I am not in their system so adding copies of bogus estimates which they gave me. While water heater is still working.

Muhammad is indeed an exceptional plumber, as well as a nice, honest guy.  We've hired him a few times for our plumbing needs (gas leak, leaky pipes, dishwasher drain issue, etc), and he's always gotten the job done at a reasonable price.  We rely on Muhammad for our plumbing needs, and would highly recommend him to anyone in need of a top notch plumber.

Very professional and detail oriented.  Very happy to have chosen Heil Plumbing for our water leak project.  The crew was prompt and finished the job on time.  Cleanup is not a problem for Gary.  There was a big soil buildup in the sidewalk but everything looks great after the work was done.  Thank you.

So we went with another highly rated company on yelp originally and when they came out they gave me a quote and said that it would be another week before they could actually fix my issues. The quote was insanely high, to the point I felt like they were ripping off this little lady.

I got an estimate via Yelp from Donzelle and I asked if he could come. There were a couple more follow up questions in an effort for him to dial in the quote even more and to make sure he brought the correct fixtures.

He was able to fix the leak pretty quickly - but didn't bring the correct fixtures (my fault). He came the next day though to finish the job. Also, he fixed my loose toliet seat that I've been too lazy to fix, as well as giving me some maintance tips to keep my tankless water heater working.

I've had big time plumbers come through and I've had small companies come through. But Donelle is my go to plumber from now on. He was polite, efficient, gave me a fair price, and was a stand up guy. I will be recommending him to all my friends.

These guys were great, friendly, professional, and effective. They fixed an issue with the plumbing of my sink very quickly and showed up on time. They were also very responsive via text/phone call and was highly flexible around our schedule. We would highly recommend their service.

I reached out to get under sink repairs. I got a quick response. They were flexible with my schedule and limited availability and were even able to come after work to complete the repairs. They did better than I was expecting and the price was reasonable.

Mathugh was a very knowledgeable plumber and I am glad he was able to make it out on the same day which I requested. Out of the five quotes I received, he responded quickly and provided a great price. My dishwasher issue was promptly resolved and fixed to the standard and codes as it should have been previously. My condo does not so good workmanship. I'll definitely be using Mathugh again!

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done.  They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.

Absolutely the best plumbing experience I've ever had.

Jorge was first on my list to call when we were having issues with our upstairs bathtub drain, based on previous conversations about a problematic toilet (covered in a previous review).

Called on a Wednesday to schedule them, and Jen was able to get me on the books for two days later (Friday afternoon) to address the tub as well as a lingering issue with the kitchen faucet. She gave me an very reasonable estimate with the appropriate caveats that it could change if there was more to the situation than their initial guesses.

Jorge showed up promptly at 3 (actually a few minutes early!), and was able to fix both problems in just under two hours (including time needed for a quick trip to Home Depot for a part).  The tub was a simple snaking; the faucet issue involved changing one of the shutoff valves... but Jorge went ahead and replaced both for the same charge just to head off any future issues and make them easier to handle in the future. Billing came in exactly as predicted, which was fantastic.  

Jorge was friendly and professional and even had a few friendly suggestions for ways to avoid future clogs... and with a kind offer to call if I run into any future issues.  He clearly cares about his customers in ways you just don't see anymore, and goes above and beyond to make that clear.

I would *highly* recommend to anyone in this area.
