Best Cabinet Painting in Washington DC

Received four quotes for three major home projects: A complete master bathroom remodel, a new deck, and replacement of a drop ceiling with sheetrock and repair of a water-damaged wall in a guest bedroom.
The first three quotes were from high end remodelers. A friend recommended Allen Geoffrey's Handyman Services to us (she had just had her bathroom remodeled). Geoff and his crew (Mark and Brian) came out to survey the jobs. They spent more time with me going over what work we wanted and what our major concerns were. They suggested a comprehensive plan of attack from top to bottom. We were consulted at every step of each of the projects to ensure that our expectations and design elements were incorporated.
Their price quote came in thousands (yes, thousands) of dollars less than the three previous quotes. While they don't provide the design assistance of the high end contractors, they met us at a big box contractor store and helped us color-coordinate our design interests. They took care of ordering all the various pieces parts needed and got us a significant discount on materials.
First, they replaced the deck to install flashing (that the previous home owner neglected to do), that led to the water damage in the guest bedroom. The deck was brought up to code and revealed serious problems with the previous deck installation.
After the deck was done, the crew split off into two teams, one working on the master bathroom, the other, working on the guest bedroom.
The crew took care of hauling off all old materials and cleaned up after each day. The work was first-rate.
As with any major home project, unexpected/unforeseen problems arise. While removing the water-damaged sheetrock in the guest bedroom, major water damage was discovered to the exterior wall. Geoff gave me a very reasonable labor estimate to repair the wall. That wall is now the strongest in the house.
They show up when expected, every day, until the job is done.  They go beyond what is expected to ensure that the client is happy with the direction the project is headed.
I highly recommend these master plumbers. I guess my highest endorsement is that, when our kitchen cabinets come in, Geoff and his crew will be doing our complete kitchen remodel (again, coming in thousands of dollars less than the high-end contractors). If you need any work done to your home, give them a call. They will not disappoint you.

Tony redid my bathroom and installed an incredible steam shower!  It was a complex project but thanks to his expertise in electrical, design and plumbing it went very smoothly.  Tony and the Ruach team are always on time, work very efficiently and most importantly honest.  They will be my first call for any of my future home projects.

I live in Michigan and have property in McLean, VA.
After the last hard winter in Virginia the windows and patio doors were damaged by adverse weather and careless tenants in the McLean property.  So I decided to fix the affected Windows or replace them based on feasibility either alternative.  Naturally my first  couple of stops were the 2-big box home stores.  Mind you, since I live in Michigan I went to the stores here and asked for competitive bids for work and material to be performed in McLean.  They both provided estimates and were in excess of $30k.  I asked for the itemized costs and they would not offer that.  So,  I researched and found L. Lugo General contractors.  Called up Mr. Luis Lugo (a very fine gentleman)  and he had the windows' measurements done and an estimate provided with costs itemized.  His bid was almost 45% less than the least expensive bid by Home Depot!  The proposed windows were top of the line fiberglass Marvin Windows.  Much better the big-box chain store contractor grade brands.  He was on time, on schedule, within the budget and most impressively he sent me photos and videos of the work as it was progressing.  He made suggestions where necessary. Remember, I am in Michigan and his company is doing the work in Virginia so this was all long distance.  I highly recommend him.

Hector did a great job replacing our faucet and at a reasonable price. Showed up on time and was nice to deal with. Definitely recommend.

Extremely professional, prompt, courteous and well priced. I called a bunch of other companies and JA was the quickest to return my call, give me a quote and schedule service. I will be using them for all my projects!

Good communications, they were prompt, and clear about when they would arrive, how long the work would take, absolutely clear on price, good value. They were professional, did good work, no time wasted. Downside, there was some damage to the walls that was unanticipated, I think the job (idiosyncratic older structure) required improvisation, but some of the holes in my drywall were unexpected, despite assurances beforehand that they would not need to open up the wall.

If I could give this guy 'zero' stars I would, as he started the job but never finished! He cancelled on us a total of four times, and when trying to get in touch, he was always very slow and unresponsive.  We had a leaking shower and wanted to have the leak fixed, replace the damaged flooring with tiling, and have the bathroom repainted. After constantly chasing him, we finally got Lee out, he cut a hole into our wall, did some poking around, left, then he cancelled two successive appointments to continue the work.  His last excuse was, 'I have the flu, can I come Wed?'. He never came back, never contacted us, and this is the fourth cancellation.  DO NOT GIVE THIS MAN ANY MONEY and certainly do not waste any time, as he'll waste your time, too, starting and never finishing!  Please move on!
