Best HVAC System Maintenance in Virginia Beach VA
I must say when our A/C crapped out on us I was so nervous to call around getting quotes/appointments to repair it.
Cool Breeze was referred to us by a friend and I am so glad they were able to help us. The technician, who also happened to be the owner of the company came within the hour like he said he would. He did an assessment, replaced a part, and checked our Freon level in 1 hour!
The price was very reasonable and he was very kind, honest and informative. I feel VERY comfortable going though this company in the future for our heating and cooling needs!

Of course the AC breaks when my husband is not here! Mrs. Dodd was so helpful when I called. She walked me through some things on the phone just to make sure it wasn't a breaker or something simple. Mr. Dodd arrived on time, prepared and very knowledgeable. He had exactly what we needed. Very fair and accommodating on a hot Saturday. Exactly the personal service I was looking for from a small business. We will use them again and I highly recommend.

Initially, I was excited when Brandon came to my home to diagnose my AC unit. It went sour when I verified his information about a brand he recommended as economical but reliable and sturdy. Long -short, the brand was subpar (cheap-not rated by any reputable consumer outlets). Next, I told him I wanted a new unit but a specific brand. A couple days passed without feedback so I moved on. This is a new company with a young owner but promising with a bright future.

They've definitely lived up to the bad reviews received on here. Worthy of a zero or negative star rating.
They were sent to me through American Home Shield over the summer to look at a system that is in a rental property. At the time, they told AHS that air handler needed to be replaced. But they also proceeded to tell my tenant that major construction was needed, the upstairs closet would be taken away, and that she would not be able to live in the house for several days. Obviously afraid of being displaced temporarily, she didn't want me to move ahead with the work until it was necessary to heat the house. Bell Cow submitted a quote to American Home Shield that mentioned I would need to pay about $800 out of pocket, while Bell Cow turned around and called me directly saying that I would need to pay about $1400. When I reported the differences in numbers to AHS, they basically said that unless Bell Cow submitted revised numbers, the number they received is what stood as far as they are concerned. When I called asked Bell Cow about the things mentioned to my tenant, Michelle said none of that held true. Naturally, I did not authorize this work with so much unresolved.
In November, I called AHS to move forward since winter was approaching. Bell Cow took several weeks before they acknowledged having the air handler. AHS still told me the figures they had were about $800. This time Bell Cow tells me $1300 + cost of access (to be fair, the cost of access is a normal additional fee). It took several calls to AHS to even get an idea of why the numbers differed. One rep went as far to say that AHS really has no role in the matter beyond the initial connection between customer and contractor.
Bell Cow sent out a technician on Nov. 30 who proceeded to tell my tenant that they would have to take away a closet that is near the return duct, bring the air handler through the roof, do major electrical work, and that the house wasn't safe. When the tenant told them to update the homeowner (me), they said it was her job to do so, not theirs. Did Bell Cow bother to call myself or AHS? No.
I called another contractor with no AHS ties who had previously recommended replacing the entire system and provided a straightforward quote that included ALL needed work. That company told me it was a one day job. I have scheduled the work, so just awaiting that to take place.
Good news was the fact that I was able call back AHS and take advantage of their cash option, which at least addresses a part of the cost of the system.

This guy is very rude and a rip off artist. He charged me $700 for changing a fan capacitor in my A/C and replaced the wire ends that hooked to it, he charged me for a bunch of stuff he didn't do, and I had to have another company come out and rework his work where he used the wrong wire connectors and the A/C only worked two days before the wire connectors he used fell off. Then he had 100 excuses why he doesn't guarantee his work. Don't trust anything this guy says . He should not be allowed to touch anything on an A/C. He could have burnt down my house. He is just looking to gouge who ever he does work for, BEWARE!!!!!.
