Best Drain Cleaning in Toledo OH

I'm leaving three stars because the crew that came to fix the sewer line were FANTASTIC, but our experience scheduling the service was a nightmare and merits ZERO stars.

They were despondent for months and when we finally were able to schedule a day, the crew were unable to find someone to perform a ground inspection. The city of Livonia apparently needed 24 hours notice to get an inspector out to the job- seems like they should have looked into that prior to arriving, no? They then told us they couldn't do the job. We had taken a vacation day from work to be available, not to mention we had waited months to have this work done. Understandably, we were hoping to find a way to make it work. We called Sewer and Water Specialists (Monroe) and spoke with Kim. She told us that she had never heard of that before and that the township was in the wrong because they schedule this type of repair 20 times a day and have never encountered this issue. We asked if we could call the township directly to try to request an inspector and she sarcastically wished us good luck and explained that they never do that. We called the city of Livonia. Guess what- they did do that.

So an hour and a half of this nonsense later, the crew stayed to do the job and had to work double time to get it done before the inspector arrived at 3- all because they were set up for failure by their back office support. But the crew was very polite and truthfully did great work. They took special care not to kill our plants and not once that day did they show frustration for the several miscommunications that occurred that morning.

Thank you to the crew for your help- Don, Scott, Amber and Kenny.  Here's to hoping this review will encourage better customer service or at least the utilization of Google calenders or Excel spreadsheets to help facilitate better planning and organization.

We had a really great experience with them! We had quite a few things that needed done/looked at and we had zero issues getting it all taken care of. The service was prompt and timely, and the cost was very affordable. I appreciate the level of care that went into our service visit and I highly recommend this company, thanks!

Plumber came out the same day and fixed my gas leak. I have absolutely no complaints. I'd definitely use them again.

I want to say that I was referred by a friend and they came out on the weekend my water blew up, and they gave me a fair offer for how extensive the damage was and replaced everything thing and it only took a couple of hours I am so so grateful. Thank you again

just had a horrible experience with this company. First my customer tried to call this company after hours last night because he has been working with them for more than 5 years. No answer and no way to leave a message because the voice mail was full. So, he asked me to call this morning because he lives in California. so I call first thing this morning, the person who answered the phone was a monotone depressed voice as I have ever heard. Just said Rooter pro not how can I help you, no name, no nothing. Then I explain the situation and she cant find my customer in their system. Then, she finally gets it. Then I hear in the back ground someone saying that he tried to call my customer back last night, if he really called at all. then this person says that they can get the tenant on the schedule, good. I further explain that this tenants son is graduating today and would like to take a shower. Yes, the tenant does not have hot water, sorry I missed that point until now. then at 11:43 I get a call from the same monotone voice saying that her technician is stuck at a job and cannot get to the hot water tank. do they only have one tech? did they not know that they had only one tech this morning? you have got to be kidding me what a mess of a joke and poor excuse for a company. it is now noon and I have called 3 other companies that said if I would have called this morning they could have got out to the tenant. pretty poor way to handle a customer I will be getting my customer another local company to work with.

Initially he was great.  Made a 2nd appoinment to start work.  He even called to change time the day before, then he pulled a NO CALL/NO SHOW.  Still NO response to my subsequent inquiries.

They came out two weeks ago to look at the work we wanted to have done.  The estimate was supposed to be emailed to us (we gave them the email address that day).  They called several days later asking for the email address again which we gave them.  We still did not receive the estimate.  We called several days later and left a message stating that we had nor received the estimate and left the email again.  We have not heard back from them yet.  We will look for another plumber.

My home warranty uses this business and I really can't understand why. They apparently put these warranty jobs on the back burner. Probably the worst customer service I have ever dealt with fron any service provider. Good luck getting an appointment scheduled.

Our upstairs AC went out in the middle of a heat wave, and Main & Sons was the only HVAC company available to come and check it out within the next couple of days.  I was extremely happy when they called later than afternoon (a day before the scheduled appointment) and told me that they had time to come by and check out our HVAC.  When they showed up, they were definitely less than professional looking (hole-filled jeans/shorts, clothing stained in general, huge wads of dip in their mouths, and too-large t-shirts with the sleeves ripped off).  The technicians were polite enough, but they didn't really communicate outside of We're going to look at your unit, and, We can't get it to work, so we're going to install another one unless I asked a direct question first.  They tried everything they could to revive the unit, but said the compressor was out.  I was informed that the entire system needed replaced (the compressor & coils), and I related that I wanted to upgrade to a more efficient unit.  The tech told me what type of unit he'd be putting in, not listening to any of my requests or input.  He even seemed disinterested in what I had to say - he'd made up his mind as soon as he realized the compressor was bad.  He told me he'd be back that evening with a cost estimate, but he never returned.  My husband had to call the office the next day to find out what the quote was.  We finally received the estimate through the mail a week later, and the estimate was very lacking in detail - Estimate to install a 95% efficient A/C System. Condensing unit is 2.0 ton 13 seer system.  Includes materials, labor and tax.  At no time in the process did anyone offer details as to brand, a detailed price breakdown, anything.  We had no input as to what system was to be installed, nor did they offer any options.  The technician provided us with a quote that was $1000 over all of the other quotes we received.  They were less than professional, didn't feel the need to communicate with me about any of the decisions involved in a major purchase, and got back to us a week after they said they would.  I would not recommend them to anyone.

Zero stars if I could. He came to replace my hot water heater ( after waiting 3 months for it ) when he finally came he was alone, couldn't even get the water heater down to the basement alone and couldn't get the old one up the stairs by himself either. I had to help. At one point I asked if there was anything I could do or get for him and he replied yeah a new life ... he couldn't get the pipes to stop leaking and he rigged together some old copper pipe and soldered it together. Which ended up leaking and he wrapped the pipe  with a styrofoam noodle looking thing that had a slit down it and left my towel on top of it - soaking wet mind you, water all over my basement floor, and water spraying out of the copper pipe continuously. He wiped a bunch of junk all over my towels too ; which he left laying all over my basement. He was 100% un professional and needs a new job. He was super miserable to be around and I was actually really uncomfortable ( a stay at home mom alone with 3 kids ) after he left I called and called and texted - he replied with obscenities calling me a liar saying he'd never leave it leaking bla bla bla - never again. This guy is absolutely ridiculous. My husband ended up fixing it himself $360 later. & He still had the AUDACITY to cash my check.

Called Fri, Nov 5, requesting a plumber ASAP, as an outside pipe for the sprinkler system had sprung a leak and was flooding our side yard. Was told on the phone that someone would be there later that day (or early the following day) to fix the valve. Address and phone number were confirmed, but no one showed up or called that day. Texted the following morning to remind them of the address and the need to get someone here at their earliest convenience. No response to the text and no one showed up that day either. (We paid extra for a different plumber to come out on a Sunday to repair the valve.) Disappointed with the unprofessionalism of this business and would not recommend.

Terrible.  I had to talk to three people to make an appointment, they were two hours late, tracked toilet water all over my house and were not up front about costs. I will never use this company ever again.
