Short review: outstanding service at a fair price. Very quick to respond with service visits and to respond to questions and price quotes. Longer review:  I have used them for a number of of issues while I've been renovation my bathroom, installing a new hot water tank and a substantial drain issue and each task was done quickly, professionally and every person I dealt with was a delight. They will get all my business in the future (I have a second bathroom but that's next year) and I strongly recommend Josh and his folks.

Fantastic company!! Had a waterline leak from the main to the house. Got a few other quotes. Not only did they come out sooner than scheduled, but the quote beat all of the other quotes. Some will say, you get what you pay for: Let me tell you, not only was their quote the lowest, the knowledge and quality of work was second to none. They fixed the waterline in less than 8 hrs. Almost a year later, no leaks, no loss of water pressure, no issues at all. The owner is knowledgeable and friendly. They have all the necessary equipment to get the job done quickly and right the first time. The technicians are professional and friendly. I would use them for any plumbing needs and have and will recommend them to anyone I know if they have any plumbing needs. Top notch service!!

Service was great. Expensive! Wow. Quoted Price to install a kitchen faucet? $350.  What do you think? Seems over priced. Depends on what your willing to pay for less than 20 min of same day service. You decide.  My opinion? Service 5 quality 5 price 1. Way over priced.  Friendly guy.  Respectful.  Sad about the customer wallet busting cost though.

What a joke of a business!! I would rate 0 stars, if I could!Talked to them on a Saturday and said he would be out Tuesday to service our hot water heater (that was not working). Never heard from them on Tuesday. Didn't even have the decency to answer the phone when I called 3 different times on Tuesday. Not sure how you are still in business, but you certainly shouldn't be with running a business like that.

Call Perrysburg Plumbing, much better service and customer service.

Nov 2012: New furnace from Von Deylen

Summer 2016: Clogged pipe. Tech, Jeremiah gave us a $2000 quote to replace some piping. Steve told him he was wrong and we went with a company in Ottawa. Yep, Jeremiah was wrong, it was just a clog.

December 2016 furnace went out: Called Plumbing and Heating company in Ottawa. They replaced the gas valve. Although, under warranty, we still had to pay for service call and after hours fee, which was about $300.

1/26/19 Furnace goes out again: I decided Von Deylen installed the furnace,  they are going to fix it. Of course, just a few days before the -40 wind chill temps that were coming in that following Wednesday.  They charged us a service fee and a troubleshooting fee, which was just under $300.  We were told it needed a new gas valve and off course they didn't have one.  So no heat Sat-Tuesday night.  They came out replaced valve but still wasn't running right.  So not only was it the gas valve but we also needed a circuit box. The other tech,  Jeremiah (Mr. Know-it-all)  had to bring the other part down from Toledo.  Finally we had heat but we were also told that we needed a collector box. And of course that had to be ordered.

They came back out within a week to put in the new part.  Wait for it........they couldn't install new part because the intake pipe was glued and apparently it's not supposed to be.  I'm sure you can take a guess at what happened next.  Well if not,  let me tell you.  They had to order a new intake pipe because of course, they didn't have that in stock.

While we're waiting for part to come in,  I get a call from Gwen at Von Deylen. She said the president of the company wanted to schedule a time to come to our home and meet with us.  I said ABSOLUTELY.

2/18 The Big Day -  I was excited. I thought,  finally something is going to be done about this furnace. I mean it's not to often that the president of a company requests to meet personally with the customers and at their home.  (Well at least never in my experience). He shows on time.  We sit down and he goes through the timeline of eveything that has gone wrong.  I kept thinking in the back of my mind,  he is gonna make this right. Drum roll please.........WRONG! He only came out to try and sell us a new Lennox furnace and central air unit. He basically told us our furnace was a piece off crap and that is why he don't sell them anymore.  And of course he stopped selling them around the time they sold us ours.  So he knew they were junk then!! He said all the parts are made in China now and blah blah blah. He went on about how he works with Lennox and they have a buyback deal and he only offers this up to three customers per year.  So wait,  what you're telling me is you sell at least 3 bad furnaces a year?  That's just great.‍

He tells us he is still losing money but wants to make this right.  He said Lennox would give us 15% off and he would give 15% off.  If we would take the buyback deal,  we HAD to buy a new furnace and central air unit,  deal was only good for 30 days and we would were required to give back the furnace that we already paid for!! He said this is so Lennox could see the parts in the Goodman furnace and do whatever.  Oh and let's not forget how he made made it clear more than once that he loses money each time he has to order a part for our furnace,  which is $50. Well, don't sell crappy furnaces and we ate still losing more money.    The discount didnt even cover what we paid for the furnace.  What a BIG slap in the face.

2/28 Replace collector box and intake pipe day: Mr. Know it all Jeremiah replaced the two parts.  Well Steve had to tell him the furnace wasn't kicking on.  Then Jeremiah had his excuses,  still wouldn't run right but finally it stayed running.  They had just got into their van tp leave and it quit running again.  Steve had to go out and tell them again.  They came back in,  did whatever,  got it going and left.

Wait for it.......................

3/3 No Furnace Again: Called for someone to come out. Chris came out and cleaned flame sensor. Started running again but of course, within a few hours, furnace has quit working. We told him to order a new flame sensor and thank goodness we did because something told me this wasn't the end of it.

Collin and Chris were great techs to talk to other than that nothing good has come from this company.

Our warranty is up in 2022. By then, we will most likely have had every part in the furnace replaced.

Stan, who I can't be sure is even a licensed plumber because the number on the receipt is not his license number, performed negligent work in several ways.

1. After setting our sink, he applied caulk, and said he would clean it up the following day when he came back to finish the plumbing portion of the job. He never did. We were left with a thick, uneven line of white caulk on our custom concrete countertops.

2. He failed to tighten the plumbing that he installed under the sink. While it appeared fine initially, the pressure from a sink full of dishwater erupted from the loose pipe.

3. He never disconnected the dishwasher hose from the garbage disposal. He removed the disposal from the cabinet to replace the pipes. He then installed the garbage disposal on the opposite side of the sink from where it had originally, which means he had to flip the entire disposal the opposite direction, all while the hose was still attached. He never checked to make sure that in all the moving and yanking of the hose, that it was still securely connected. The hose was not in fact connected securely after he pulled on it and that caused all the water from the dishwasher to dump behind our cabinet causing significant damage to our brand new floor.

4. He refused to properly reattach the water line to our refrigerator before leaving. The copper line had kinked and caused a slow leak, a leak which was not present before. He couldn't fix it because he didn't have the part, even though we live 2 minutes from Home Depot and 5 from Lowes. We told him we needed the ice maker for a birthday party we were hosting the next day, so as long as it was a slow leak, it could wait until after the party. There were 3 different adults present that all heard him say it was a slow leak. We put a towel and a bowl under it and observed it really was a slow leak.

After he left, within an hour of him leaving,  I used the sink to wash some dishes. Afterwards, we noticed a sudden puddle on the floor in front of the sink. We immediately called him to come back. He was rude, dismissive, would not listen to us that it was not from the line to the refridgerator, refused to come back, and changed his story completely saying that he told us the leak was a gushing leak (it wasn't and he never said that. Why on earth would anyone tell a plumber to just leave a gushing leak? That's ridiculous).

When Stan came back after our floor was ruined he was extremely rude and refused to even look at the dishwasher hose where we knew one of the issues was. None of the water damage was near the line to the refrigerator.
They didn't wear booties and left a trail of dirty boot prints through my house, they left the baby gate leading to the basement open while my baby was crawling around, and the guy with Stan reeked like weed.

When we noticed the gusher under the sink, they did send 2 guys over to take a look at it. I sat and watched them find yet another leak near the garbage disposal. One of the guys told me it wasn't tightened. I was very appreciative of the thoroughness.  After the fact though, the owners LIED, and said their guys said everything was tight. Thank goodness for video evidence. They also implied we were trying to get a kitchen remodel on their dime. We had just finished our remodel, hence the new sink.

We've consulted other, licensed, plumbing professionals who all unequivocally said that they absolutely check the dishwasher hoses when performing work like this to avoid situations like this. They also pointed out that, even after the owner Clifford/Dwane, connected the dishwasher hose, it was done incorrectly and could cause us more problems (he didn't put a high loop in the hose).

We had the water damage documented by a restoration company and ASAP had their own restoration company come to our house. Both companies had the same conclusions.

The owners acted like they were going to make it right but strung us along with excuses for over a month.  I believe they were hoping we would get frustrated and just forget about it. When they finally were out of excuses and had to respond they stated that they determined that they are not liable for the damages. It's laughable that they think that they are the authority on whether or not they are liable.

If you use this company, which I strongly advise against, check to make sure every single person that enters your home is in fact licensed. The license number on the paperwork is very misleading as it is not the license number of the person performing the work. Also, be sure to get an itemized breakdown of the parts and labor before paying because they would not send us one when we requested one. Lastly, document everything, every phone call, every conversation, all work done, photos, videos, etc, for your own protection. If you've had issues like us, do your part to hold this business accountable, and file a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's Consumer Protection Office.

Our upstairs AC went out in the middle of a heat wave, and Main & Sons was the only HVAC company available to come and check it out within the next couple of days.  I was extremely happy when they called later than afternoon (a day before the scheduled appointment) and told me that they had time to come by and check out our HVAC.  When they showed up, they were definitely less than professional looking (hole-filled jeans/shorts, clothing stained in general, huge wads of dip in their mouths, and too-large t-shirts with the sleeves ripped off).  The technicians were polite enough, but they didn't really communicate outside of We're going to look at your unit, and, We can't get it to work, so we're going to install another one unless I asked a direct question first.  They tried everything they could to revive the unit, but said the compressor was out.  I was informed that the entire system needed replaced (the compressor & coils), and I related that I wanted to upgrade to a more efficient unit.  The tech told me what type of unit he'd be putting in, not listening to any of my requests or input.  He even seemed disinterested in what I had to say - he'd made up his mind as soon as he realized the compressor was bad.  He told me he'd be back that evening with a cost estimate, but he never returned.  My husband had to call the office the next day to find out what the quote was.  We finally received the estimate through the mail a week later, and the estimate was very lacking in detail - Estimate to install a 95% efficient A/C System. Condensing unit is 2.0 ton 13 seer system.  Includes materials, labor and tax.  At no time in the process did anyone offer details as to brand, a detailed price breakdown, anything.  We had no input as to what system was to be installed, nor did they offer any options.  The technician provided us with a quote that was $1000 over all of the other quotes we received.  They were less than professional, didn't feel the need to communicate with me about any of the decisions involved in a major purchase, and got back to us a week after they said they would.  I would not recommend them to anyone.

This company came to my house to clear my sewer line. He took out a handful of tiny roots and a couple sanitary products. When the sewer backed up into my basement again, he would not come back to fix it. I had another company come out and they pulled out 60lbs of tree roots from my line.

Called Fri, Nov 5, requesting a plumber ASAP, as an outside pipe for the sprinkler system had sprung a leak and was flooding our side yard. Was told on the phone that someone would be there later that day (or early the following day) to fix the valve. Address and phone number were confirmed, but no one showed up or called that day. Texted the following morning to remind them of the address and the need to get someone here at their earliest convenience. No response to the text and no one showed up that day either. (We paid extra for a different plumber to come out on a Sunday to repair the valve.) Disappointed with the unprofessionalism of this business and would not recommend.
