Best Sewer Installation in Toledo OH
Had some minor flooding when power went out/sump pump not working. Was able to schedule a appointment very fast, both Thomas and Mason are very knowledgeable and professional. Work was finished the next weekend for a fair price: new sump pump, water powered backup, pit cleaning, and new piping.
Will be consulting with Water Pros before any other plumbing project that come up. Thanks

I want to say that I was referred by a friend and they came out on the weekend my water blew up, and they gave me a fair offer for how extensive the damage was and replaced everything thing and it only took a couple of hours I am so so grateful. Thank you again

We called on a Sat night, they would have come out then but we decided that Sun AM was better for visibility and such. Rates are very reasonable, staff is knowledgeable and they fixed our issues. There is a reason why they use the word PRO in their name!

Have used Advanced Plumbing for large and small projects. They have been great. Quick friendly service. The staff is very knowledgeable. The owner is hands on.

I'm writing this review for my mom's cousin. She doesn't have a smart phone or computer, but wanted to let everyone know how pleased she was with Alternative Plumbing Plus. She's been living with a basement full of water for nearly 2 wks. She was quoted a price of nearly $7000 to fix the problem. The other company said they had to come in with a backhoe and dig up her yard, to fix the problem. She is on a fixed income and doesn't have that kind of money. She looked in the phonebook and called Alternative Plumbing Plus. They came out right away and she said within an hour, they had unclogged her drain and her basement was already receding. All for under $400. It's sad to think that other companies would take advantage of an elderly widowed woman. Alternative Plumbing Plus took care of the problem quickly and more than fairly. She highly recommends them.

Really difficult company to deal with. Could not answer our questions, and made it impossible to schedule a time with them. Did not call us back when they said they would. We have a non urgent issue and just trying to get an estimate. Shouldn't be that hard
3264 South Ave, Toledo, OH 43609
They came out two weeks ago to look at the work we wanted to have done. The estimate was supposed to be emailed to us (we gave them the email address that day). They called several days later asking for the email address again which we gave them. We still did not receive the estimate. We called several days later and left a message stating that we had nor received the estimate and left the email again. We have not heard back from them yet. We will look for another plumber.
2733 Glendale Ave, Ste A, Toledo, OH 43614
We called them for an issue and there were supposed to give us an estimate to fix the bigger problem the next day. They never contacted us. We tried to contact them for several days and still no response. After they left things are worse than before they came and they will not return our calls. Do not use this company.

If anyone ever needs plumbing or heating work done, DO NOT USE Von Deylen Heating and Plumbing
Nov 2012: New furnace from Von Deylen
Summer 2016: Clogged pipe. Tech, Jeremiah gave us a $2000 quote to replace some piping. Steve told him he was wrong and we went with a company in Ottawa. Yep, Jeremiah was wrong, it was just a clog.
December 2016 furnace went out: Called Plumbing and Heating company in Ottawa. They replaced the gas valve. Although, under warranty, we still had to pay for service call and after hours fee, which was about $300.
1/26/19 Furnace goes out again: I decided Von Deylen installed the furnace, they are going to fix it. Of course, just a few days before the -40 wind chill temps that were coming in that following Wednesday. They charged us a service fee and a troubleshooting fee, which was just under $300. We were told it needed a new gas valve and off course they didn't have one. So no heat Sat-Tuesday night. They came out replaced valve but still wasn't running right. So not only was it the gas valve but we also needed a circuit box. The other tech, Jeremiah (Mr. Know-it-all) had to bring the other part down from Toledo. Finally we had heat but we were also told that we needed a collector box. And of course that had to be ordered.
They came back out within a week to put in the new part. Wait for it........they couldn't install new part because the intake pipe was glued and apparently it's not supposed to be. I'm sure you can take a guess at what happened next. Well if not, let me tell you. They had to order a new intake pipe because of course, they didn't have that in stock.
While we're waiting for part to come in, I get a call from Gwen at Von Deylen. She said the president of the company wanted to schedule a time to come to our home and meet with us. I said ABSOLUTELY.
2/18 The Big Day - I was excited. I thought, finally something is going to be done about this furnace. I mean it's not to often that the president of a company requests to meet personally with the customers and at their home. (Well at least never in my experience). He shows on time. We sit down and he goes through the timeline of eveything that has gone wrong. I kept thinking in the back of my mind, he is gonna make this right. Drum roll please.........WRONG! He only came out to try and sell us a new Lennox furnace and central air unit. He basically told us our furnace was a piece off crap and that is why he don't sell them anymore. And of course he stopped selling them around the time they sold us ours. So he knew they were junk then!! He said all the parts are made in China now and blah blah blah. He went on about how he works with Lennox and they have a buyback deal and he only offers this up to three customers per year. So wait, what you're telling me is you sell at least 3 bad furnaces a year? That's just great.
He tells us he is still losing money but wants to make this right. He said Lennox would give us 15% off and he would give 15% off. If we would take the buyback deal, we HAD to buy a new furnace and central air unit, deal was only good for 30 days and we would were required to give back the furnace that we already paid for!! He said this is so Lennox could see the parts in the Goodman furnace and do whatever. Oh and let's not forget how he made made it clear more than once that he loses money each time he has to order a part for our furnace, which is $50. Well, don't sell crappy furnaces and we ate still losing more money. The discount didnt even cover what we paid for the furnace. What a BIG slap in the face.
2/28 Replace collector box and intake pipe day: Mr. Know it all Jeremiah replaced the two parts. Well Steve had to tell him the furnace wasn't kicking on. Then Jeremiah had his excuses, still wouldn't run right but finally it stayed running. They had just got into their van tp leave and it quit running again. Steve had to go out and tell them again. They came back in, did whatever, got it going and left.
Wait for it.......................
3/3 No Furnace Again: Called for someone to come out. Chris came out and cleaned flame sensor. Started running again but of course, within a few hours, furnace has quit working. We told him to order a new flame sensor and thank goodness we did because something told me this wasn't the end of it.
Collin and Chris were great techs to talk to other than that nothing good has come from this company.
Our warranty is up in 2022. By then, we will most likely have had every part in the furnace replaced.

One of the top 3 worst companies I've ever dealt with. Jen from their office unfortunately doesn't have time to be explaining billing with me... I have never been told by a company I'm about to pay thousands of dollars too, they don't have time to deal with me. After paying for a repair that did not fix my AC unit, that I also found out part of it should not have been necessary to start with, refused to reimburse me for the failed repair. Refused to even roll it a new one and then inadvertently admitting to price gauging! Filing a complaint with the BBB, FTC, and probably going to have to file small claims now too if I ever want to see my money again. Steer very clear of these people!!!

I spoke with Eric on Friday, September 5th to schedule an appointment on Monday, September 8 for their tech to come to my residence. Appointment time was 12:00pm to 1:00pm. I was soliciting a quote to run a gas line from the house to the pool shed.
I am paid hourly so it cost me money to meet A.S.A.P at lunch. I arrived at my residence from work at noon. I waited until 1:20pm for A.S.A.P to arrive. No call - no show. As I was driving back to work I called Eric and questioned where was the technician and why I did not receive a call informing me that either he would be late or not coming at all. Losing money by driving home at lunch waiting for these guys, I believe would put most people in the not of best moods. Needless to say the conversation was a little heated and Eric was yelling at me as I him. All the while I'm thinking what an unprofessional person/company: 1.) to make an appointment and not keep, 2.) not show up, 3.) not call, 4.) yell at the customer as if I were his child. If they were a no call - no show this time, what about when the work is supposed to be performed? How many other times would they be a no call - no show? To my surprise Steve the plumber from A.S.A.P. called me at 1:40pm and was apologetic-at least someone in the company seems somewhat professional. I explained that I already had other quotes and I most certainly would not entertain the notion of contracting A.S.A.P. due to my negative experience.
I can't believe this company has an A rating. I'm suspecting there must be several bogus positive reviews in order to have the A rating. Fellow members heed the warning and look elsewhere.

Around the beginning of the Month of January, 2022, we started searching for HVAC companies to replace our furnace, which was not keeping up with the thermostat, and it was very cold inside. Upon contacting various companies, Main & Sons was the first to offer an in-home estimate. This is where the bad review starts:
It took a week to get someone here to do the estimate, which was fine, as they said they'd been busy. Once here, the technician was courteous enough, and seemed to know what he was doing. Upon leaving, I was informed that someone would contact me with an estimate. Someone DID contact me the following Monday, wherein they gave me the estimate through email.
On their own website, it says to ask about the makes and models and serial numbers of any product used in the job, so I replied with those questions. Not only did I receive a poorly worded response, but it was one sentence, explaining that when the installer got the info to them, they'd get the info to us. It took two weeks for them to come up with the make and model of JUST the furnace. Meanwhile, we had been struggling to keep our house warm the entire time.
Maybe I could have and should have contacted more companies, because when we finally had enough of being cold, we contacted another company, who had the estimate done the next day, and the new furnace installed the following day.
Here's the thing. Don't give estimates if you don't have a clue what is actually in the estimate, and, if a prospective customer says they are cold, you find a way to help, or you IMMEDIATELY decline to do the job. Simple as that. I will absolutely never be using this company for anything.

Mancini is as assigned to me by my home warranty company, First American Home Warranty. I contacted them on a Thursday and we had an appointment set for the following Monday, 4 days later. He would never give me an accurate time just I'll be there in the afternoon. That Monday he did not show up or call to reschedule. I called the flowing day, Tuesday, to no answer. I called again Wednesday morning and finally got ahold of him. Told me he ran late on a job, which I understand, but the fact I never got a call to reschedule was unacceptable. On Wednesday we set a new date for the next day, Thursday, again in the afternoon. I called at 9am Thursday to get a better time as I am employed and taking time off for this, and no answer. Heard nothing all day and called again at 4pm to again no answer. I called my home warranty company to get a new contractor assigned and they said they will call and check in. They called me back and said they got ahold of him and he said he was still coming, this was at 5pm. Again never called and never showed up. Would not ever use this company again not recommend to anyone, extremely unprofessional and my home warranty got a new contractor.
Overall if I could give 0 stars I would.

Called Fri, Nov 5, requesting a plumber ASAP, as an outside pipe for the sprinkler system had sprung a leak and was flooding our side yard. Was told on the phone that someone would be there later that day (or early the following day) to fix the valve. Address and phone number were confirmed, but no one showed up or called that day. Texted the following morning to remind them of the address and the need to get someone here at their earliest convenience. No response to the text and no one showed up that day either. (We paid extra for a different plumber to come out on a Sunday to repair the valve.) Disappointed with the unprofessionalism of this business and would not recommend.

THIS IS NOT A LICENSED AND INSURED PLUMBER. He damaged my home and did not fix the damage. NOT PROFESSIONAL. Do not let this convicted felon in your home. You can see his record on OTIS, Michigan's offender directory, offender number #716116. Will be contacting the better business bureau for operating under a false license. Stay away!
