Best Outlet Repair in Seattle WA
Quick and efficient service. Installed a new stove plug. Did a great job for reasonable price. Definitely recommend and would use again.

We have used Fixer twice. Light plumbing, electrical and handyman work around the house. The contractor did all the work and left everything spotless and clean behind.

Repair person came and pressed red button on exterior GFI reset button. Took him longer to fill out the invoice for **$318.** (!!) Will never use this overpriced company again.

FWIW I just did hire Dean again. This time to install a couple of Kasa 3-way smart switches to give me some automated control of lights. Yes, I likely could've installed them myself but I was happy to have Dean out to do it knowing it was going to be done right the first time by a pro. Dean is a pleasure to talk to and the smart switches work great.

I asked them to come out and look at a broken hose bib (specifically the pressure valve, which had snapped clean off). It wasn't leaking, but I knew I'd need it fixed before it was time to water the yard.
The plumber who came in was very nice, but after a cursory look outside and at the adjoining wall in the kitchen, wrote up his quote. It was $519 to replace it, over $300 to repair it.
When I looked stunned, he tried to haggle the price with me. I told him I didn't like to negotiate and didn't think I would need to pay anywhere near that amount of money for such a small repair. Since I was in no hurry, I said I'd think on it.
Well, after the shock of that quote, I told my fiancé, who went to Lowes on the way home from work, guessed on a replacement part, and was able to fix it for $11.
I am stunned and offended that someone who is supposedly a professional would try to rip me off for this amount of money.
I can only guess that they're used to people in emergency situations who are willing to pay top dollar to have their problem fixed immediately. Thankfully, I had a non-emergency situation, and now I know I will never call upon these dishonest folks again.

I have used Hunts for several services and while their prices are really inflated the representatives were nice; however, going forward, Hunt's has lost me as a customer.
I scheduled to have my dryer vent cleaned and was notified on the day of the appointment that they did not have a technician available and would need to reschedule. Given the current labor pool in Q2 of 2021, I understood. I did reschedule and I also requested that I be discounted for the inconvenience. The representative agreed and provided me a $35.00 credit. The starting cost for the dryer vent was $149.00 but could be more if the technician found difficulty getting to the vent. In my case my laundry room is located on the first floor, so I didn't anticipate added charges but did note the Hunt's tends to inflate cost after a given assessment, so I knew it would be more than $149.00. Case in point, I paid $700 for a garbage disposal replacement.
We rescheduled my cleaning for another day. I received a text message confirming the appointment. The morning of the appointment I received a text message and a phone call at 8:08. I had stepped away to let my dog out and didn't have my phone with me. Upon retuning into the house I saw that I had missed a text message and a phone call, so at 8:28 I texted back to confirm my availability. When I read the text message it stated that I must get back to them within 10 minutes. So I called to make sure that they had received my text response. I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes. When I was finally connected to a representative, I was told that I would need to reschedule because I had not responded within the 10 minute window, which is pretty ridiculous. I stated that I had not responded within 10 minutes because I did not have access to my phone but that I was responding now. I also shared that I had previously responded to the confirmation text the day before and that the appointment was set. The representative said you missed the 10 minute window and would need to reschedule and that was all she could offer. Bear in mind, I had been a customer of Hunt's for at least 2 years and had hoped that they would take that into consideration. I was infuriated at the fact that I was being penalized for a frivolous policy that when Hunt's calls, you must respond in 10 minutes or else they arbitrarily reschedule you.
Is their business so good now that they feel they no longer need to service the customer? How is it that Hunt's expectations for the customer is higher than their own? Their service reps are always late and the last one that serviced my home was 2 hours late based on the scheduled appointment.
They have lost a customer and I would recommend that if you're going to pay what they charge you can definitely find better service elsewhere.

Yesterday I called and scheduled a drain cleanout for today (June 5). I've used their services before. In 2019 they cleared a drain and installed a Fernal where the root problem was on the other side of the house for half the cost of today's hydro jet cleanup. The price was over $1800. Checking for similar services on the web in Seattle, the price was at least twice and closer to three times that of others. There are other reviews on yelp with similar overpriced issues. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

ZERO STARS
CAUTION!!!!
we had them come out to check the system since we are selling our house
i see in another review the mysterious lid replacement .... by the way their lid is a 200% mark up - they did the same thing to us but replaced a newer one and not the older one (NONE of them were in poor condition)
they over charged us and only when i called them on it sent me a revised bill BUT the credit has yet to show on my credit card
they falsely reported the flow situation to king county as i have had other companies out to verify
i cannot recommend this company ...... period

The driveway drain on our new house backed up into our garage and we needed help fast. Beacon sent out Gato and Esther and from less than 90 minutes from when I first called they had that drain cleared and saved all the boxes just my garage.

We needed a furnace replacement and had Black Hills come out as our second quote. The consultant spent 2+ hours with us - measuring windows, walking the house, understanding our house - before offering a quote. We appreciated his honesty, his willingness to answer all of our questions and the fact that he didn't try to sell us something that would have been overkill for our 100+ year old house. Our install was a few days later and Jake, our tech, could not have been better. He was extremely professional and thorough and worked hard to get our furnace installed in a timely manner, even after the aforementioned 100+ year old house gave him some unexpected issues. This experience was great - we couldn't have asked for better and the fact that they offer multiple guarantee types gives us the peace of mind that we made the right decision.
