Best Outlet Repair in Seattle WA
Requested a quote on yelp and got a response within minutes of posting. Fast professional service during hours most other companies won't even answer the phone. Thanks Will

My outlets stopped working in my 1906 house. We scheduled an appt and then they said they were unable to make it. They were nice enough to re-schedule for me and provide a discount for the inconvenience. They provided pictures of the work - but would have liked to see an itemized list of what was actually done. I like they responded quickly and fit me in. The outlets work now and will probably use them again.

Sad to be writing this review. The technician that came out was amazing. Mark was very knowledgeable, professional, and personable. But the quote he gave me had this $585 line item that was for set up and piping from existing gas line. Well the first line item is supply and install all necessary gas piping and fittings. The second line item is remove existing gas pipe. So what is this third item for?? The total of the first two items was LESS than this third item. Unfortunately Mark didn't have the authority to do anything here. Because the owner, Brandon, had come out to our home last fall, I wanted to contact him directly. As the owner, I would assume he's the one who has the authority to explain, reduce, or take out this weird line item. So I called, and I was told that I could not talk to him or leave a voicemail for him but they did give me an email, which turned out to be just a general email for the company. So I emailed and noted in the subject line that I really wanted the email to go to Brandon. I stated that I wanted to talk about this line item and see if there was something we could do. Apparently he didn't even get the email. I got a reply from a customer service rep that didn't even address the fact that I had was asking to talk to Brandon. It was a stock reply that said they would have the technician call me and explain that line item. I responded and said that they didn't even address the fact that I wanted to speak with Brandon. They then said that Brandon is the owner and he doesn't deal with customers. Really?! Wow. Not only is that a bad practice, but I explained that Brandon was out to my house last fall. So he did indeed deal with customers, at least back then. I then got a response from them saying the best they could do was to give me to a supervisor. At that point I just said no thanks. Really?

Dean is a role model for service.. answers the phone, helps you diagnose what is needed, educates you, doesn't upsell, shows up on time, and solves problems. I had a problem with a defective breaker and he fixed it promptly. It's no wonder he gets enthusiastic reviews...all justly earned. Thank you!

I might be able to give them more stars if they showed up to my house. Don't be fooled by their service window, they didn't actually have a plumber secured for me. They tried to find a plumber during my service window and because I wasn't able to take their call (even though I was working from home waiting for them), they canceled my service.

I have used Hunts for several services and while their prices are really inflated the representatives were nice; however, going forward, Hunt's has lost me as a customer.
I scheduled to have my dryer vent cleaned and was notified on the day of the appointment that they did not have a technician available and would need to reschedule. Given the current labor pool in Q2 of 2021, I understood. I did reschedule and I also requested that I be discounted for the inconvenience. The representative agreed and provided me a $35.00 credit. The starting cost for the dryer vent was $149.00 but could be more if the technician found difficulty getting to the vent. In my case my laundry room is located on the first floor, so I didn't anticipate added charges but did note the Hunt's tends to inflate cost after a given assessment, so I knew it would be more than $149.00. Case in point, I paid $700 for a garbage disposal replacement.
We rescheduled my cleaning for another day. I received a text message confirming the appointment. The morning of the appointment I received a text message and a phone call at 8:08. I had stepped away to let my dog out and didn't have my phone with me. Upon retuning into the house I saw that I had missed a text message and a phone call, so at 8:28 I texted back to confirm my availability. When I read the text message it stated that I must get back to them within 10 minutes. So I called to make sure that they had received my text response. I was placed on hold for about 5 minutes. When I was finally connected to a representative, I was told that I would need to reschedule because I had not responded within the 10 minute window, which is pretty ridiculous. I stated that I had not responded within 10 minutes because I did not have access to my phone but that I was responding now. I also shared that I had previously responded to the confirmation text the day before and that the appointment was set. The representative said you missed the 10 minute window and would need to reschedule and that was all she could offer. Bear in mind, I had been a customer of Hunt's for at least 2 years and had hoped that they would take that into consideration. I was infuriated at the fact that I was being penalized for a frivolous policy that when Hunt's calls, you must respond in 10 minutes or else they arbitrarily reschedule you.
Is their business so good now that they feel they no longer need to service the customer? How is it that Hunt's expectations for the customer is higher than their own? Their service reps are always late and the last one that serviced my home was 2 hours late based on the scheduled appointment.
They have lost a customer and I would recommend that if you're going to pay what they charge you can definitely find better service elsewhere.

Needed a leaking outdoor faucet (hot & cold duplex) fixed. Quoted $2,336.56. Said they had to replace the whole unit and open our inside wall to do it. Quote did not include repair of the wall afterwards. I asked them why they couldn't just replace the stem rods and/or washers. Then we would be attached to it was the answer.
Declined their quote. Ended up fixing it myself for the cost of a couple of washers; less than $1.00. Should have done this myself anyway but wanted to use a professional. Lesson learned!

I called to get county required inspection. They had availability, were professional, clean, and speedy. Had some younger employees show up and they were knowledgeable and professional. Pleasantly surprised. They educated me and the estimate I was given was accurate. Also, i dont know why i thought there would be a mess, but they left the area clean. All in all would highly recommend.

James was an amazing & very knowledgeable & able to fix the leaking water issue, as well cleaned up afterwards when he finished his job and repaired the leak. Friendly & explained all that he was doing while working. Would highly recommend this company. Even thou it was 9:45 @ night when James arrived, he worked diligently until 12:15 a.m.

Black Hills solicited my business after I went on the web requesting work be done in a rental home I own between tenants. Upon learning that the house was a rental and would be unoccupied at the time of their service, they declined the opportunity to do the job for both reasons.
Obviously, Black Hills doesn't need the work and can afford to be picky. That's good to know; I won't bother them again, ever, as I wouldn't want to deprive them of free time.
