Michael's Handyman Services Plumbing Service
Good- quick availability, fast work, problem resolved
Bad - quality of finished work/product, lack of transparency

Summary - if your problem requires replacing your toilet, I would recommend you to go to the store to ensure what is purchased meets your needs.

Details -
We had Michael's come in to look at a plumbing issue. The person who came to fix the problem suggested that we replace the entire toilet. I had specifically told them that I want the same kind of toilet before he went to the store to purchase. After the work was done, I found that the one installed did not match the base size, seat cover, handles. I was told that what he got was the only kind available. However, this weekend when my husband went to Lowe's (which is the closest place to us), he found the exact one like ours.

Considering I spent close to $600
(which includes about $100 including taxes to get rid of the old toilet), I am not super happy about how the new toilet looks. I don't like the plastic seat and cover and guess that can be replaced but that's for another day. There was no transparency about the options for the new toilet or the breakdown of the cost (how much was spent on the parts vs labor) and there wasn't much choice i had when I saw the new one after it was all installed.

All in One Maintenance Plumbing Service
I hired Leon fixing my drywalls of the townhouse that I am selling.  He responds and cleans up after he is done.  He is also a super nice person.  The best thing about him is that, he is ON TIME.  Yes, it is so difficult to find anyone who will be there at the time that he promises.  Hoping that with these good reviews, he will have time for my other works to be done in my new home to be moved in.

All Water Plumbing Plumbing Service
We had a great experience today with All Water Plumbing. We chose to reach out for a quote because they were local and because we could request a quote through yelp. Julie was quick to respond with an estimate and was able to get me scheduled quickly. Vlad came out today to do the work and was very helpful! The estimate was accurate, and he walked be through every step of what he was doing, and made sure I understood how to avoid these problems in the future. We will absolutely use All Water Plumbing again in the future and would recommend them to anyone looking for a plumber.

Fixer - Seattle Plumbing Service
I got a few quotes and these folks seemed reasonable and had a quick appointment for a sink installation. The fixer showed up timely, looked it over, said it would take about two hours and got to work.

It ended up being over 6 hours, three and a half of which he wasn't even in my home and he called someone else to help him on top of it. My counters are destroyed which they tell me is because of the previous sink installation which was original to the house. The fixer made some weird comments about my house that made me a little uncomfortable.

He disappeared for two hours to get more tools, came back and then immediately had to leave to go to the store for something.

I wouldn't call them again for anything beyond just a small handyman job and even then, I'm not sure. The time being gone and charging me for it is sketchy, especially when it's multiple hours gone to pick up a couple of things that was a long sit of things in the end. Seems like you'd make an inventory of what you would need and make one run instead of wasting time/money.

I'm pretty sure the bill wasn't correct in labor but I paid it anyway and moved on because I didn't sit there and keep a timer on the job. Live and learn. The job got done for nearly twice what I expected in both time and money.

Dan came out quickly and fixed the leak from our upstairs bathroom pipes. Also helped install new toilets and a tub. Not only did he do a great job, but he shared a lot of information and was very personable.

Beacon Plumbing - Seattle Plumbing Service
After tons of thought, we've downgraded our rating to a one start for Beacon and have no plans to use them again.

Our initial service call, while an emergency and expensive as a result, did not fix our issue and required another technician to return to our home with a camera to see where the issue was.  The first service call the guy didn't have a camera with him.

Then the Bobby Wagner commercial for Beacon comes out where he says one of the Beacon rules is to always check that the drain lines are clear.  We paid $350 for the 2nd service call to send a camera down the drain.  That was the ONLY thing that the technicians did on the 2nd appointment and come to find out Beacon considers this something that should be done at the end of every appointment.  So why did I have to make a 2nd appointment and pay $350 for it?

To top it off, the guys that came to our house for the 2nd appointment were less than awesome.  They were not helpful or kind, seemed like they weren't interested in helping us remedy our issue, and were flippant with my husband when he had basic questions.  While here the technicians recommended a full repipe of our sewer line (it's been recommended previously, too), quoted $20K and wrote it on a piece of paper with a line for my husband's signature.  They told him if he signed the paper they could start the work immediately.  They hadn't asked questions about what we want to do, given him information about what's included in the estimate.  Just a ballpark number hastily written on a service call sheet of paper.  These two guys were so unprofessional and frustrating to work with.

My experience on the phone with customer service when trying to make our 2nd appointment was good and I would love to give that team a much better rating, but unfortunately the demeanor and quality service men that came to our home the 2nd time - and being under the impression thanks to TV that we should have never needed the 2nd appointment anyway - was enough for us to downgrade our rating to just a single star.  We paid a lot of money for an issue that wasn't ultimately fixed or even remedied until we had a different company out to start from scratch.

There have been few times in my life when I have been moved to tears and Bob Howard did just that today.
My husband has been deployed 52 months of the 9 years we have been married. He is currently in Korea. We just received orders that he has to PCS to Ft Hood Tx. I put our home on the market last Thursday and it sold same day! With the buyers wanting to close in three weeks. The inspection was this past Sunday, and the inspector raised some concerns about small amounts of water being in the four year old home's crawl space. My real estate agent suggested calling this company. Mr Howard called me back within an hour and said he could take a look same day! He said that the water collection was completely normal and offered to email me a letter to provide to the buyer.
When I asked him how much I owed he refused to accept payment for the brief house call. I couldn't help but start to cry. He told me he was a retired Marine and came from a military family, and that he was happy he could help.
Our entire life has been turned upside down. I am having to leave my great career, what we thought was our forever home, and uproot our entire lives to move across the country. I was completely moved by Mr. Howard's compassion and genuine kindness, which has left me truly touched. This kind of customer service is what we as Americans grew to know and has become all most non existent in recent years. I cannot thank you enough for your kindness and putting my mind at ease. Thank you from the bottom of my heart sir.

Beacon Plumbing Plumbing Service
I just got robbed. Our water heater stopped working and we call Beacon because they could come out within 2 hours. We gave them the age of the water heater on the phone. They told us it would be $75 just to come look at it. We agreed, but we didn't mean he literally would take one look, without testing or checking anything and say we needed a new water heater $1900 water heater and almost $600 for the overflow tank!
Do yourself a favor and don't Call Beacon.
