Best Air Duct Installation in Seattle WA
Wow! I had a last minute emergency and they were able to show up and help me get water running back in my home. My hose bibb decided to break causing me to be without water. In less than an hour, Kajik was able to assess and resolve. So impressed by the personable experience.

Thanks to Ally - James and David - for a great customer experience. The company communicated about arrival and confirmed our appointment in advance. James and David arrived, assessed our gas rerouting needs, and got to work. I appreciated that they explained what they were doing and why. They answered any question I had and made sure I knew how to get the system online after other trade work was done. I think we got good work and paid a fair price. We'll keep Ally on the short list for any future projects.

We had an electrical panel upgrade and some other associated upgrades done on our house. I am sharing our experience with Seatown; first, the work did not pass the City of Seattle inspection and required Seatown to return and do some modifications. Second, on the scheduled day for the modifications, Seatown didn't show up in the 2 hour window (no phone call from them during that time). I waited another hour and a half and still a no-show, then I left. They called that night to say they didn't come because they were super busy that day.
And, by the way, I believe Seatown charges on the high side, as I had several bids, but went with them because my neighbors recommended them. Additionally, I had to pay half the cost 2 months in advance because they were booked out and wouldn't book me unless I paid half the amount. Maybe this is customary, I don't know. Would I use them again? no

Just wrote a review on Google as well, but wanted to pass on the same great words about Joe the Pro on Yelp.
Joe and his local team were fantastic replacing our water heater. Quick turn around (from the initial call, to making an appointment, to an in-home estimate, to getting the install done). Solid product knowledge and recommendations. Professional and friendly. Highly recommended. Joe the Pro is truly a Pro.

I'm looking for the installation of a new garbage disposal and removal of the old one. I called the Hunt's Services but they refused to give me a quote, instead they said they would send out technicians to evaluate the work and give the estimate of the cost, with $59 minimum dispatch fee.
We scheduled an open window from 9:00 AM to 12:00 noon, however, with such a wide time window, they still ended up being late for 15 minutes, without any explanation.
But then when the technician inspected the kitchen, he said there needs some extra work done to reroute the pipes so it will cost a total of $612 before tax for the work, which is 1.5 hours as they said!
I don't think this price is honest, and I got a quote from some other companies that the total labor should not go over $200 even if like they said, some pipes need to be rerouted to fit the new garbage disposal.
I would have given them 1 star if not eventually they waived the $59 dispatch fee because of some technical issues. Otherwise, you would have just paid that money for nothing, or an over priced bill.
Will not use them again.

Summary: Saved ~$11k by not going with Beacon! This review is for the Bellevue Office. Had a leak in my water main. Hydrostatic pressure was pushing water into the house at a rate of about 20 gal per hour. Called Beacon. They came out (for ~$150) and without doing any digging told me a needed a new water main from the street to the inside of my house - would cost around $12k. I asked why they could not repair the galvanized pipe and they told me that since it was underground and no longer code it would be illegal for them to try to repair it and they could lose their license. I asked how they knew it was galvanized all the way to the street and the technician told me I guarantee that it is galvanized. I sent them home and called some other plumbers who told me that although not code anymore they could repair the galvanized if it is in good enough condition. I had another company come out and they started digging and found that the water main had indeed been replaced with poly and was in great shape. The problem was that the last 8 feet that goes into the house had not been replaced and was still galvanized. Ultimately, I saved myself around $11k by having another company suggest that we really figure out the problem. I would not recommend Beacon to anyone after this experience. I think they try to take advantage of you when you need them most.

Absolutely horrible and unethical company! I hired them in good faith to install a new faucet. This was at least the second time we used them. So, I was comfortable.
The installer used screws that were way too long. The screws went through the wall and into my dishwasher, which ruined it.
At the time we had no idea why our dishwasher was not working. We only discovered it after we bought a new one and the installer pointed it out to us. The installer did a great job taking photographs of the damage caused by Beacon plumbing.
We promptly contacted Beacon plumbing and relayed the information to them. The manager, a coward named Mark Jensen, quickly dismissed the damage they caused saying they were not responsible despite the fact that an independent person pointed it out to us. This person also took great pictures to prove his findings.
The manager, Mark , a total jerk, denied any wrongdoing and refused to make it right. We paid them on time for the services that they provided, but when we found out they made a mistake, they did not own up to it.
Fortunately, we are financially able to survive this fiasco. If you were looking for quality, ethical work, please look elsewhere. You will not find it here. This is a horrible company, with a HORRIBLE manager.
Also, please take the time to see how Marc Jensen responds whenever someone confronts him and posts a negative review on here. He never takes ownership of his mistakes. Instead, he takes a defensive posture and blames his customers. Clearly, he has no idea what customer service looks like.
Mr. Jensen, please have a blessed day :)

I was looking forward to using this company, but after calling the first time, they were supposed to call me back, never did- I figured no big deal, it was leading into a holiday weekend. So I call them this week, set up an appointment for 10am- and at 1030 I get a call that they need to push it back to the afternoon. I'm at work and I had my partner already change his work schedule to be able to do 10am. By 1030 no one has shown up and I finally get a call that they need to reschedule again last min. I understand that things come up but I work in an appointment based industry and would never inconvenience my customers repeatedly like this. I wish I could say that I would want work done but being on time and respecting others time is in tune with doing a quality job as well so I'll hopefully find a different company that can do both.
Edited to add: I wish your speed and accuracy in replying to yelp was used today and this past week. Then I'm sure I had stayed a customer.

Ridiculously overpriced (yes, I should have read reviews more carefully before calling them).
They quoted 150 for a leaky faucet and 190 for a clogged WC. My local plumber, who I found through my local hardware store, charged me $140 for both.

Travis and Mike are the absolute worst. All those commercials are driving me insane.
