They came over to fix our sump pump and we're super quick about it. They gave us a great quote, some good recommendations, and were super kind and polite along the way.

Update (8/10/11):
I received a call from Albert himself. He took the time to listen to my concerns and explain in detail the costs and pricing involved. It seems that much of the problem stemmed from the way in which the pricing was explained to me by the plumber who originally did the job, combined with the fact that the first faucet they installed had several problems (that think were manufacturing defects). True to their policy, there was no charge for returning to fix (and ultimately replace) the first faucet. Because of the confusion and miscommunication, I'm not revising my rating higher than a 3 for this particular interaction. However, I can say now that I would feel comfortable using this company again in the future.

I received a reply to my original review from Albert Nahman, himself, the very same day I posted it. That gave me hope that I'd have my concerns addressed. Unfortunately, not.

The owner of the company tried to tell me that the $269 included labor (it did not) and that it was a Wolverine Brass faucet (I checked. It's the cheap Delta faucet I originally thought it was.). I replied that same day to let him know that I thought he was mistaken and to please let me know if I am the one who is mistaken. I also called and left a message on the direct line he suggested I call (which, oddly, had a generic mailbox message). It's now over a week later and he has not replied.

NOW, THE FAUCET HAS A GUSHING LEAK UNDERNEATH WHENEVER I TURN ON THE FAUCET. Sigh. I made an online appointment request, left a message on his direct line, and called the company and left a message in his voice mail there. After several hours without a response, I called back the main line to schedule an appointment with a live person, which I guess I should have done in the first place. They won't be able to send someone until tomorrow, and it's the same plumber. Crossing my fingers...

I've used these guys several times and have been satisfied, but my most recent experience has me choose to take my business elsewhere.

The service technicians I've used have all been completely professional. The work they have done has been competent. I'm not a plumber, so I can't say any more than that. I think their straightforward pricing is a bit expensive, but I appreciated knowing that there was a consistency to the pricing and knew with confidence what it would be.

What has me upset enough to sink their ratings is how much they charged me for a replacement kitchen faucet. Naively, I trusted that the faucet that they sold me would have a bit of mark-up, perhaps 10-15%, and agreed to the replacement. They charged me $269 for the faucet. A quick search online revealed to me later that the same faucet at Lowe's would cost me $88. That's nearly a 100% mark up - probably more since they likely get wholesale pricing.

If you use them, supply your own parts.

The company is either the most incompetent or most unethical or both. We had a problem with a very noisy water heater. They sent a guy out the first time to assess the situation. He was convinced the pressure valve outside the house needed to be replaced, so he came back a week later and replaced it. Did not fix the problem. He came back a week later and installed a brand new pressure valve right next to the water heater. Did not fix the problem. They had no idea how to fix the problem. I called a Roto Rooter guy who came out and fixed the water heater noise problem in 15 minutes. Then these idiots try to charge me for solving nothing. Fast forward a month and I try to turn on my front yard irrigation system - there is no water supply. So another irrigation guy comes out and explains to me that the outside pressure valve that these dummy's replaced (a) did not lead to the water heater and had nothing to do with the water heater, it was for the outside irrigation system, (b) was installed upside down so it shut off water to the irrigation system, and (c) was not needed for the irrigation system either because the irrigation system has its own pressure valves.

Use this company at your own peril. What a nightmare.

On time, does good work, and friendly, but very expensive for a basic boiler service.

I've been wanting to install a tankless water heater for some time now.  I wasn't expecting my water heater to fail on me as soon as it did, but things happen.  I went out and bought a tankless and then started looking for companies to do the install as that's the only way to preserve the warenty.   I had three different companies in mind, but Innovative Radiant Heating was the company I went with more for the fact that they're local and I like to support local businesses.  We talked, got a quote, and they showed up on time to do the work.  They did a great job and were pleasant to talk to.  Everything works great, and we're stoked.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for this type of installation.

Jazz was very quick in responding to my service request, and was able to schedule an appointment during the week of Christmas.  Sanny, the technician was able to pinpoint the problem as to why my furnace was not igniting.  Sanny came back to install the part that had been ordered the following week.  Overall, satisfied with the experience from start to finish.

Raymond was extremely helpful when we had a problem with one of our coaxial outlets. During this pandemic, where Internet is vital for working from home, we were very grateful to have his detailed explanations and quick efficiency when diagnosing and solving our connection issues. Not only that, Raymond recommended other steps we could take that would help us get the connection speed we wanted. Furthermore, Raymond showed a particular patience with any questions or concerns we had. Thoroughly impressed and we will look for him if we need anything else.

We recently had mini splits installed in our house. We looked at different vendors, but were impressed with our engagement with Bellow's and their professionalism, responsiveness and overall knowledge of their product and service.

We had a defective gas stove in living room. Despite three visits and charges it was not working. The area was freezing. Conor and Local Plumbing diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and the stove works like new. He even showed us how the remote control worked- no vendor ever bothered to do this.   In an area where there are so many options, you'd be well-advised to use Local Plumbing.

I made an appointment to have Magic Plumbing come out and give me an estimate on what I thought was a plumbing problem. The receptionist was very informative about their process.  Carl called me to make the appointment but later had to change the time.  Then Alberto came and did a thorough investigation of my problem.  He noticed water was leaking through the wood to the basement.  The pipes were not leaking.  He saved me from an unnecessary plumbing job that another company was going to charge me to do.
The whole estimate was free.  Amazing service!

I cannot say enough good things about Bryan and Desmond from Moore. They came out today to help clear out the main line after a gross sewage overflow mess. They were patient, kind, and informative. First off, they came out when every plumber could not get to us in weeks.  Cleared our mainline in less than 15 minutes for $88 and also fixed a clogged sink ($35), a loose faucet, and made time to caulk our shower and bathtub (which had been a nagging need that we just never got around to). Prices were so reasonable, and the whole process from booking to job completion was seamless. In a world where it's hard to trust, if you are not getting ripped off by the experts, it's nice to have Moore now saved in my phone.

Ron is the real deal!

He was the only one of the vendors that I reached out to give me advice first to try before his visit. I tried to get him out several times and because he was sick he could not make the first appointment. While sick, he was very responsive on checking in with him daily until I could get on his busy schedule.

Finally, when I had him come out to visit my house, he prioritize me and even drove out of his way from Pacifica to Oakland to San Mateo early in the morning (during a death in the family - wow)!! We ended up being ghosted by my Tenants and could not get into my house. He still not only gave me very good advice on the furnace but he gave me advice on how to handle my Tenants who locked me out!!! What great above and beyond service.

Now compare this service with CP Mechanical who was hired by my Tenants who said that I need a whole new HVAC system which first needed rodent droppings and asbestos abatement first. That would be $15K!

Turns out his original advise over Yelp would have worked if my Tenants would have let me in to try to change the furnace speed.

Ron's great service saved me $$$$!!

Joe quoted me $260 over the phone and then his partner showed up and charged me $160 just to look at the job. Joe came out and charged me $660 for a job (extending a pipe for a faucet on my deck) that took much less than an hour. I complained about the charge for a simple job and he took off $100 but still charged me $660. I feel ripped off and will never use them again.

I am so pleased with our service from Ontario. Sad to say.that our warehouse toilets were backed up due to staff flushing flushables.

There is no such thing as a flushable wipe. We should all know to only flush the four P's

Mike's crew put a water heater in our house a while back and did an awesome job! They even let my kids help drill holes for the drain tube. Recently I had a problem re-lighting the pilot. I called Mike and got a voice mail saying he was away on personal business and wouldn't be returning calls. I left a message anyway and within 15 minutes he called me back and walked me through the re-light procedure. I am so impressed that he took time out of his personal vacation time to reach out and help me. Thanks Mike for keeping us from cold showers. Awesome service!
