Best Sink Repair in San Francisco CA

I noticed a leak in my ceiling Saturday afternoon. I looked on Yelp and found Beastbay plumbing. They were able to get someone out on Monday 08/19/19. I was afraid they would have to cut my wall open but the technician, Marcelino was able to assess the issue by crawling up into the attic instead. He was very kind and professional. He was upfront and honest with me about it not being a plumbing issue but rather an HVAC issue. He graciously referred an HVAC guy that will be out next Monday. Hoping for the best. But if I do have any plumbing issues I will definitely be calling Beastbay to come take care of it. Thanks guys.

Mr Rooter was 2 hours late. The tech did not want to go under my house. He said his machine was too big. I will never call Mr Rooter again. Too bad you have to give one star, I would give them zero.
I called E-Z plumbing, Percy came out and worked his butt off. I highly recommend E-Z and Percy.

I really can't say enough good about these folks. Although the ads say San Francisco Bay Area, it turned out my Oakland home was outside of their typical service area. That said, they found a slot where one of their plumbers who lives in Berkeley could stop by. It was a bit longer wait than I wanted, but my need wasn't a full-blown emergency, and the wait was worth it for someone with their rep.
A peculiarity of our situation made it such that they won't be doing the final work. That said, Gabriel was fabulous to work with, gave me some excellent advice, and actually got the non-functional pump that was the source of the call to be at least somewhat functional, even if still at a degraded level. In the end, he just said I didn't really do anything. No charge.
I will be singing their praises for a long time to come. Not for the relative freebie, but because they were 100% straight-up throughout the process, were very knowledgeable, and just plain pleasant to work with throughout.
I walked away completely confident that the work they do is as quality as they can make it and will always be fairly charged. That's a lot of good coming from a variety of contracting where even getting them to show up as promised has been challenging at times....

Good rating here. But I was promised a call to my home after 3:00pm. I asked that I be called around then to let me know when the plumber would arrive.

Cancelling other business outside the home, I made sure to be here at 3:00. At 3:00, no show, no call.

I call. The plumber said, I am at my work site. How about after 6:00pm? I understand I need only a minor repair and that the plumber needed to stay where he was.

BUT .... No call to reschedule? No respect for my time? Forget it.

I highly recommend Gregg and Garcia plumbing! I needed a new gas line installed for a gas insert fireplace, reached out to the 3 gas plumbers that O'Kells fireplace had recommended and Gregg came back with the best quote, quite a bit lower than the highest.  

He was prompt with his initial inspection appointment and installation day, very efficient, finishing a couple hours before I thought he would. Passed inspection the next day with the inspector commenting that Gregg's work is so good, he barely needs to check it.   Would definitely hire again.

Very quick and efficient scheduling and the team of 2 plumbers showed up on time. They wore masks and booties and were very professional, kind and very patient with my questions. They fixed my sink quickly and at a very reasonable rate. Very happy to find an excellent new plumber here in SF!

The toilet in our back bathroom stopped flushing.  We tried unclogging it w/ a plunger and put dish soap in the bowl, all the things we usually do, but to no avail.  My diagnosis was that the mechanism was broken, based on the difference in the sound and the way the handle was working.  I called Michael Your Plumber and his outgoing message said the he'd not been well and while he's better, encouraged new customers to call a friend of his.  Established customers were invited to leave a message but the mailbox was full.  I like Michael a lot, so this worried me and I have to get in touch w/ him to see how he is.  But we needed our toilet fixed, so I checked Yelp and found Pipe Arts.

I called Sunday evening and left a message.  The next day I received a call back and we scheduled an appointment for Edgar to come out between 5:30 and 6:00 the following day.  He and his helper came out at 4:30 yesterday, an hour early, which we really appreciated.  They took a look at the toilet and the diagnosis was a blockage, not a malfunction, although he did notice that the flap was worn and replaced it w/o charge.  They snaked it and it resumed functioning.  Edgar advised that there were calcium buildups in the pipes and recommended either getting a hydrochloric acid cleaner or replacing the toilet.  He described how to use the cleaner and where to get it and we will do that.  The toilet is a Toto and only about 6 1/2 years old, too new and too expensive to be replaced.  My first loyalty remains to Michael, but if he's not available and I need a plumber, I will definitely call Edgar at Pipe Arts.

I am impressed with the work of Beder. He is efficient and cleans up after the work. He has installed 2 different TVs on drywall, built floating book shelves in my home office, and built a cabinet to holder my HP printer.
He follows Covid safety precautions. I will contine to use his expertise in the near future.

Zayah was on time, knowledgeable, asked enough questions to make sure we were on the same page, but was unobtrusive and efficient. He diagnosed Missi ng parts we needed, took a quick trip to the store in my behalf, and replaced our disposal/repaired some broken sink plumbing quickly and cleanly. Strong recommend!

All I can say is NO NO NO NO NO!  Unprofessional, terrible work, criminal as far as I'm concerned.  My computer went missing the day they were working on my house - and when the owner assumed I wasn't going to pay for the job (they had the check for $6,000.00 on their desk) - he said he would rip the hot water heater off of my house.  I had to file a police report.  A scary and horrible experience.

Jac came by yesterday to work on a few items. It's the third time she's done plumbing things for me. As usual, she was on time (or early), she was upbeat and good-natured, she worked efficiently and effortlessly, she threw in a few things for free, she undercharged me, and she chatted amiably with me while she worked.

Who ever heard of a plumber throwing things in for free?

She's a real gem. I recommend her unqualifiedly.

Ben was great!  I gave him a call in the morning for a quote,  he was able to schedule me in the same day and come out in the afternoon.  I had two tasks that I needed help with:  fixing a spigot and moving the washer and dryer out so I could clean underneath as we had an overflow issue.  He was polite, efficient and professional.  In just under two hours everything was done.  Ben was an absolute perfectionist. He made sure to test out the washer/ dryer after he reconnected both. He noticed that the washer was shaking a lot during the extraction process.  So he took extra time to level and make sure everything was in good order.

Will definitely be reaching back out for any future projects!

Big thumbs up for Oakland Rooter & Plumbing - their plumber came out and assessed/fixed a variety of plumbing issues around my kitchen and bathroom, giving me plenty of information on what exactly was wrong and how it could best be resolved. He worked quickly and efficiently, was super friendly, and answered any and all questions I had. Much appreciated!

The call nobody wants to make, right?...Not in this case.
I've got to say, Advanced Trenchless is locally the best in the business. Artie is such a friendly, knowledgeable guy with the customers best interest at heart. He's the best! Advanced Trenchless does a great job communicating transparently, candidly and honestly. Their rates are surprisingly reasonable, especially when compared to local competition- But the main focus is this: They get the job done, and they do it well. What else can you really ask for? They're awesome, don't worry next time you need to make that call.

Frank came for a multi-faceted project: unclogging the kitchen sink and replacing a bathroom sink.

He was prompt, on-time, and professional. He explained what was happening, took a leaky valve in-stride, turned off the water to the house and quickly replaced the valves. His work was very thorough, he replaced the bathroom faucet, unclogged the kitchen sink. While he was replacing the bathroom faucet he noticed our bathroom toilet water was running (this was a long standing issue that I had forgotten about) and fixed that on the spot as well.

He did these three projects quickly, was very professional and a great person to work with. He's an honest guy -- I would highly recommend!

Kenny responded to my yelp request for water heater replacement with an actual reasonable quote right away, no in-person consultation required. He then came by just for a second to make sure he got the right materials. 100% recommend!

John had to pull out the big snake for our clogged sink, but he was fast, persistent and professional. Called at 8am, he was out by 10:30, done by noon.
