Best Sink Repair in San Francisco CA

I noticed a leak in my ceiling Saturday afternoon. I looked on Yelp and found Beastbay plumbing. They were able to get someone out on Monday 08/19/19. I was afraid they would have to cut my wall open but the technician, Marcelino was able to assess the issue by crawling up into the attic instead. He was very kind and professional. He was upfront and honest with me about it not being a plumbing issue but rather an HVAC issue. He graciously referred an HVAC guy that will be out next Monday. Hoping for the best. But if I do have any plumbing issues I will definitely be calling Beastbay to come take care of it. Thanks guys.

Alex from Mr. Rooter is wonderful! He solved a tough plumbing problem at our home. He is cordial, skillful, smart, and professional. A think-out-of-the-box problem solver. I think they do really good. What ever the problems are I see them sweat they really get the job done I feel so bad cause I had an altercation with the tall white guy but now I feel bad about it he works hard and he's cute I feel bad cause I was yelling at him outside but they all do a great job and they get the job done. I would like to see the tall guy again so I can apologize.I would pic them for the job cause they work hard.

Right from the get-go I knew Nick was going to do a great job. Very bright, friendly and informative on the phone, and very prompt when arriving at my home to get the work done. He diagnosed the problem with my toilet (which had been plaguing me for a month) within seconds, made some small adjustments and was on his way out in no time. Now my toilet is in perfect working condition, finally!

If anything else bad ever goes wrong with the plumbing in our home, I will definitely give Nick a ring. Thanks, Nick!

I called On-Call pluming this morning as something was wrong with our sump pump.  All I knew was the damn thing kept running even when it was clearly empty.  We were naturally worried the pump would burn out and then sewage would spew forth in our basement.  Not a pleasant thought.  

Anyway,  I called On-Call and he said he could be here within the hour.  I was going to be out for a few hours and he graciously accommodated my schedule.  When I got back from my appointment, On-Call was waiting in my driveway.  

An hour and a half later, my sump was working once again and my leaky toilet was fixed to boot.  Once he discovered what the problem was (a broken switch), he gave me the option to replace the pump ($1200) or attach and external float that would override the broken switch ($25) which he had in his truck.  I went with the external float.  I really appreciated that he didn't push for the more expensive option that probably would have been more lucrative for him (a trip to buy the new sump, another visit to install it, etc.).  

On-Call was honest, responsive and knowledgeable and prices were reasonable.  I'll definitely call them when I have pluming issues in the future.  And when it does come time to replace that sump, you can bet I'll call On-Call to get the job done.

Greg did some fireplace gas line work for me, and I truly can't recommend him enough.

I got quotes from multiple plumbing companies. All of the rest gave me ranges (some 2-3x of what Greg gave) and gave them with the caveat that it'll probably go up once they did the work. Greg committed to a ceiling (instead of a floor) that was supremely competitive and detailed - he mapped out exactly where lines would go. He was super easy to schedule with (we texted, for those who hate phone calls) and showed up on time w 2 helpers to make it go faster. When they were here, I didn't feel the need to supervise or manage and felt very comfortable with them at home. Gives so much piece of mind to have a plumber on speed dial who you like and trust! We contacted 5 star plumbing the day after moving into our new home. We discovered 2 leaks and a water related past event that we needed repair and investigation on. Adam was the plumber that responded to our request and he was awesome to work with. He identified and fixed both leaks right away.  He also was able to help with possible causes of the previous water issue that left some stains but was nothing to be actively concerned about. I would recommend working with Adam for any plumbing issues that you may have.

A friend of mine who is a licensed contractor recommended Edgar when we bought our house - he said he never got call-backs with Edgar's work.  We hired him to install new plumbing and fixtures for a bathroom remodel and replace most of our galzanized steel supply lines with copper lines.  That was around a year ago, and since then we have had him back to add a gas line for a new furnace, install a dishwasher, and replace a waste line I broke trying to install a new kitchen sink.  I have also called him a few times for advice on projects I wanted to take on myself.  He is honest, organized, helpful, and shows up when he says he will.  His prices are reasonable and he does top-quality work, as far as I can tell.  The one time we had a small leak after he installed a new sink, he came back either the day we called or the day after and fixed it - and it has stayed fixed.  He also cracks me up - I know a lot of plumbers and have yet to meet another one who manages to look like Mr. GQ after crawling around under your house to install a toilet and goes out for sushi at lunch.  What more do you need to know?

Harry Clark cost me money and time as I was trying to sell my house in the Oakland hills.  They have hyped themselves as the experts on the recent requirement for an EBMUD Certificate of Compliance on any sewer lateral older than 10 years to real estate companies all over the area. Not true! My Realtor had heard their hype,  however, and called them to test my lateral.

My situation is a little different in that I have an ejector pump that pumps sewage to the main line....but plumbers are usually aware that water goes down, not up. When their tester came out, he pointed out that the lateral was not slanted down to the main and therefore was not correct.  Hmmmm.  Why would I have a pump if gravity would do it? He didn't get that. His report (took a week to get it) was Bull****.  Absolutely inaccurate.  His boss agreed and said he would come out and give us a new report.

Again, a week went by and then his boss sent my Realtor a non-report.  It said absolutely nothing.  I wondered what EBMUD would think when they got it.  This guy also said one thing to me and contradicted himself to my Realtor.  A simple hurdle was getting ridiculously out of hand.

I called another company and they got the whole thing taken care of in two days. Done.  

I have used Harry Clark for HVAC maintenance, since they put in my furnace and HVAC system when I built the house in 2001.  I had no idea their plumbing services were so poor.  Do yourself a favor, tell your Realtor not to call them when you want to sell your house and need a sewer lateral test.   Hire Pipe Spy!!

Awesome job by an honest person that took the time to show me exactly what she was doing and why. I would most definitely call her again. I don't trust strangers in my home but you know right away that Jac is someone you can trust and that makes all the difference.

Ben totally saved the day!

We suffered a break-in attempt yesterday morning, which ended up damaging our building's front door frame to the point that it would no longer lock. This obviously needed to get fixed ASAP and I knew that same day availability for a big job like this would be a challenge. Luckily I found Ben's page and gave him a call. He was able to fit me into his afternoon and worked until sundown to get the door frame repaired with new lumber and reinforced. He was polite, helpful, and a total pleasure to work with, and we went to bed soundly knowing that the front door was now even more secure than it was before the incident. Thanks again Ben!

Amazing service and customer service! The young lady who answers the calls (jasmine I believe- if I'm wrong sorry!!) is so kind and very helpful. Literally had someone out to my house within the hour! Dante arrived so fast and was so sweet to my three year old who was just peppering him with questions and wanting him to play. Dante is one solid, solid dude. Dante fixed my leaking shower head and saved me from yet another ginormous water bill yay! Dante unclogged my basement drain which had mysteriously stopped working. The culprit- a wee toddler sock!! Dante is outstanding. He was super patient, kind and engaging with my three year old, Dante arrived so fast and was so professional and fixed all our plumbing problems in the blink of an eye. Thanks so much and if I ever run into more plumbing problems I'm calling you guys first'

I am very impressed with Oakland Rooter and Plumbing. I needed to have a corroded pipe fixed, an automatic gas shut off installed, and the overflow pipe from my water heater extended. When I called to get a quote, Fernando was able to come to my house very quickly. Oakland Rooter's prices were better than their competitors. When I scheduled to have work done, Oakland Rooter was able to schedule the work quickly. All three jobs were completed the same day. Fernando scheduled city inspections within a week of the work completion date. All of the work passed inspection. Fernando was great to work with. I am happy I found a reliable plumber!

We are new to the area.  This team was amazing!  They efficiently figured out our problem and competently performed the necessary work to get everything back in order.  In addition, due to a serious emergency our dogs had been left alone for the day.  The technicians were not deterred, made the scheduled appointment, took great care of our dogs and assisted us with another issue that was not part of the original order.  I do not know when we have been better treated by a home repair and maintenance team and we are seniors so we go back more than a little!  HIghly recommended doesn't begin to cover it . . . in addition to skill and competence they possessed kindness and consideration.  Definitely went beyond the call of duty.  Outstanding service.

When we needed a new toilet, we  found Heise's Plumbing on Yelp and they lived up to all our expectations.  Dave explained everything thoroughly and was very fair on pricing.  The guys that installed the Toto Drake toilet were clean and professional.  Couldn't ask for more.

We needed to replace a water heater and asked around for some quotes. STK was by far the most reasonable and was able to come out the next day. He didn't try to add on any costs or try to bait and switch the estimate which what the other guys tried to do to me. He came in and did the work and everything seems fine all at a price that was very affordable considering the work needed.

I picked this company based on the good reviews on Yelp.  I had a very negative experience.  They took advantage of the fact that I needed the work done quickly to give me a price that was easily three times what it should have been.  Then they did a crap job.  I later found out they were operating under a suspended license.  When I emailed them to let them know, I never heard from them again.  Tells you everything you need to know.
