Extremely happy with Berkeley Home Repair! I needed a kitchen faucet replaced, pronto!! Not a big job but one I could not do myself. Found them here on YELP and as it was stated, they responded back within 10 minutes! Wow!! Such a prompt response is quite a rarity these days, and the rest of the interaction was just as smooth.

They were able to squeeze me same day (another wow!). They were on time, courteous and professional. They can  handle projects of all sizes, and while I don't often have 'large jobs', it's even more comforting to know I can depend on them to help me with everyday projects, which do seem to come up quite often, and unexpectedly.

Erast is awesome!  We panicked on Christmas because we had rain coming through the ceiling of our newly purchased home.  He went way above and beyond, digging up the building permits of the renovation on our house to find the original contractor (including name and phone number), advising us on how to work with contractors on the repair, and next steps.  He did all of this without us paying him a dime!  I highly recommend working with Erast, it's such a nice feeling to have an honest, helpful company that legitimately cares about people being taken care of.  I've never had this level of support from a construction company.  Thanks!

Needed a very big sewer job done. The Bayshore plumbers were friendly, respectful, and thorough and worked with us to strategize a solution for complex issues to try and for example spare going into a shower (which would be much more expensive to re-tile) or damage too much hardscaping outside. They really worked as a team to figure out a trenchless solution for us (I think they discussed it as a group with a lot of their experts!) and while there was an unexpected pipe hit in the process (it happens!) they were very reasonable in their approach to repair the damage and did not charge for the repair work, to make sure everything was functioning for us ASAP. Also made outdoor concrete repair look great! Big plumbing work in the home is never enjoyable, and there are usually some unexpected complications especially in such an old home with 70 year old pipes, but this team made it manageable and provided updates throughout. Would definitely use them again for big plumbing jobs!

Had high hopes after seeing all the positive reviews here. Contacted Yevgeny via phone and told him what I need done and asked if he was able to help. He asked for photos and things seemed promising. After a couple of texts about the project (installing an exterior security camera with wiring needing) I never heard back from him again. I don't know if my project was too small on the scale of electrical work and not worth it or what, but would have been nice to have some follow up and/or follow through. I'm the one paying for service so I won't follow up and chase you down for work if you don't want it. First impressions do make or break deals.

I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Unger for bathroom remodels, these guys definitely know their stuff.  When it was time to install frameless shower, several estimators told me they rarely see completely straight walls, usually it's done at an angle.  The truth is our walls are slightly crooked/tilted like most walls out there, but Nikolai did such an exceptional and thorough job with the tile, he essentially straightened it out.  Karen too was wonderful with the tile work (his specialty), but he also went above and beyond with many little projects that were outside of his scope of work, like polishing countertops damaged by another contractor.

The price was very reasonable, on the lower end of the estimates I've collected, but here's what impressed me the most: there were no change orders/unexpected charges for little surprises along the way, even though it certainly added more time to the project to fix those.

Yes, Dmitriy does talk a lot (he's very passionate about what he does), but he never talked over me like another reviewer suggested.  He was very easy to get a hold of even on weekends and would return calls and texts within hours and sometimes even minutes.  I appreciated that he followed up to check if we were happy with their work a few weeks later.

Luis is terrific! He has helped me with various home upgrades. He is great to work with and very responsive. He does beautiful work. Highly recommend him for your construction projects!
