Best Garbage Disposal Installat… in San Francisco CA
They reached out instantly and was so patient with me since I was shopping around for different prices to compare. I'm renting out my house I'm currently in and just needed to make sure everything was working and reinstalled properly. They sent someone after being stuck at another job but communicated this right away. and they were able to service our issues when they came and gave a really reasonable price. They sent two people, they were very nice and communicated everything with us. They didn't leave until the job was done and we were satisfied.

I simply do not trust Mr Rooter to be honest and fair. Over the phone, the plumber quoted me $1800 to replace a pipe that he said was leaking at my apartment building in Oakland accompanied with a photo. I decided to see exactly what was wrong, so I drove from San Francisco to Oakland to see personally what was going on. When I got there, what the plumber was quoting $1800 was a simple fix that I could do myself. It required taking out the old galvanized pipe and joint and replacing a 4' piece with PVC. Hardly worth anywhere close to $1800. I told him to just clean out the clogged pipe as originally requested and I would do the rest. All the sudden the $1800 dropped to $275, which was still kinda high, but he was there with the parts, so I agreed. The total job took less than an hour to do. The charge, $300 to clean the pipe and $275 to replace the leaking joint and galvanized pipe.
If I didn't have a basic understanding of plumbing, enough to question his assessment, that job would have totaled $2100 ($300 for the clogged pipe and $275 for replacing the galvanized pipe) for about an hours worth of work. Do you really think I should recommend your services to another unsuspecting victim? Hell no. Your company is what I would call a predator company, preying on those that have no knowledge of what is required, and relying on trust that is evidently absent.
I rarely post reviews. Something has to be really good or really bad for me to be motivated enough to post a review. I don't like companies that do this kind of predatory charging in hopes that the customer doesn't know what they are actually charging for.

If you are looking for a new furnace or ductwork replaced, Tromborg Royal is the answer. They are fantastic. Quality workmanship, always on time, and very respectful of your property. Bryant and Vinnie are the best!! They are so efficient and always left my garage very clean. A pleasure to have in my home and their work was beyond my expectations. You will not go wrong with Tromborg Royal Plumbing & Heating.

Advanced Plumbing & Drain responded quickly and their estimate was the lowest (without scrimping on the essentials) among the four I approached through Yelp. They started working pretty much right away.
The job entailed replacing an old galvanized steel water intake pipe, which was leaking. They broke up a few squares of sidewalk, replaced the existing rusted pipe with approx. 45 ft. of one-inch copper pipe, drilled a hole in a short retaining wall (rather than go over it), arranged the city inspections, and laid down new concrete.
Gabriel explained the work needed to fix the leak and answered all my questions. He and his crew arrived on time and kept the area clean. They worked while it rained too, although the weather was mostly fine.
I highly recommend Advanced Plumbing for a job such as this.

Today was our third time Joven came to do work. Still 5 stars. He is very responsive and readily available. He did great work at a very reasonable price. He is an absolute gem. We have found our guy. Will never call another plumber period.

The only reason is a 3 star and the one is because Dave was very pleasant to work with , did his job and explained everything during the procedure.
I had a water leak in my house almost 2 weeks ago that required to cut in to the wall to find the leak .
Dave and Soul came the day after Dave already cut one hole in to the sheet rock and couldn't find the leak .
After they cut a piece of stucco and found the leak the job was done very quickly , 2 hours in and out .
The problem is that Soul promised my wife someone will come over to patch the stucco the next day for additional $300 after I already paid $600 .
No one came the next day and no one called .
I waited one day and called Soul, he said the guy was busy and will come the next day . No one came and no one called .
I waited 2 days and called again! Same answer, same result .
So bottom line , customer service is sucks .
Eventually I found someone for $150 to fix the stucco.
It's been almost 2 weeks.

I called and needed a toilet unclogged on a Friday and they said they couldn't come until Monday. Not sure if there is anyone out there that could wait three days to use the toilet or have that situation sit for that long. Then, when I asked for a recommendation they told me to go to Yelp! Guess they didn't think this was poor service and I would write a review. Oh well

Luis was super responsive and was able to get the job done the same day. Highly recommend and would definitely use again.

Finally! I've found a handyman that can seemingly handle anything -- and is fair, kind, hard-working, honest, prompt, responsive, on-time, and reliable! Bedr came prepared with all the tools for the job - with more in his car. Bedr spent hours helping me replace a fireplace mantel, patching drywall, sanding it, and then building and installing my relatively complicated and heavy TV mount above my fireplace. He even troubleshooted a funky electrical outlet. As he was leaving he gave me some free advice on a few other things around the house.
Would hire him again in a heartbeat.

Zayah was on time, knowledgeable, asked enough questions to make sure we were on the same page, but was unobtrusive and efficient. He diagnosed Missi ng parts we needed, took a quick trip to the store in my behalf, and replaced our disposal/repaired some broken sink plumbing quickly and cleanly. Strong recommend!

United Plumbing responded promptly on a holiday and offered reasonable pricing. Erik arrived on schedule and fixed our plumbing issues efficiently and pleasantly.

Ben was great to work with. We had him come out to help replace a garbage disposal unit. He was the fastest to give me an available slot within the next 24h out of 5 other handymen on Yelp and was easy and smooth to communicate with via text. He was knowledgeable at the job and very efficient at getting the work done, as well as fastidious e.g. during tidyup. I would recommend Ben!

Just over three years ago we had them install a sump pump in our driveway. They put a metal grate over it and I asked if that would catch the debris that would inevitably fall through. The guy told me it would be fine and not to worry about it. Three years later after our big rains, the driveway flooded. It was under about 6 to 7 inches of water for many hours. After siphoning out the water, I saw that the pump was running but not working and had spewed oil inside the hole. This was an almost new pump that they had installed. I called them to come and check it out and they told me the pump needed to be replaced since there were more rains coming. I paid them another $1200 to put in a new pump. it feels like a racket and I'm disappointed the company did not take any responsibility for installing a pump that only lasted for three years without giving me any instruction or guidance on how to maintain it and implied that no maintenance was necessary. They acted like it was my fault when they told me there was nothing I needed to worry about. I am disappointed in this customer service.

We just used Wizard again and just like always it was a very pleasant and professional experience. Alex and Francisco were very honest, friendly and professional. They fixed our problem in a very thorough and timely fashion. I highly recommend their services. I would give extra stars if I could!
I have used Wizard Plumbing on at least four different occasions over the past few years and each time they are very professional, extremely knowledgable, and nice. Bart came over last week and was very helpful, honest, and did a great job. They definitely deserve the five star rating!

I am a property manager in San Francisco and have worked with Alansi's on multiple occasions. They know what they are doing and charge a fair price. Recently, I worked with Mo on a particularly challenging job and he went out of his way to accomodate some tenant scheduling issues. He didn't have to do that, but he did and I appreciate the effort.

I can't say enough good things about Oakland Rooter. Our master bathroom toilet in our condo was leaking into our condo garage. Another plumber came out to take a look and he advised that the problem was with the flange, provided a high estimate and said it would take four hours. I asked Oakland Rooter for a Yelp estimate and Ignacio called me on Sunday and made an appointment for Monday. Will arrived on time on Monday wearing a mask and socially distancing, took a look in the garage, said we should check out the wax ring first, popped the toilet, quickly replaced the wax ring, and the leak was gone. He even swept up afterwards. Both Will and Ignacio were clear, super nice and professional. All this for a fraction of the estimate of the other guy. I will definitely call them for any future plumbing needs. Thank you Oakland Rooter!

Had a drain back up in the basement today. Got Heise's name here on Yelp and called them. Am I glad I did!
The ever present Dave answered the phone and after doing some quick problem solving over the phone (figuring out how big a job it would be), told me someone would be there between 3 and 4 PM. Dave called back a little while later and asked if he could have someone there between 1 and 2 PM which I agreed to.
At few minutes before 1PM my dogs starting going crazy. I looked out the window and there was the plumber standing outside. Plumber was in and out in 40 minutes. I mentioned to him that I was paying for a hour of work at the minimum and asked him would mind checking an outside drain for me. He cheerfully said he would and found a tennis ball that had somehow gotten in there when the grate was off ($#@#$%$U% dogs!).
Heise's charges $120 per hour with a one hour minimum. Don't know if that is reasonable but I am happy.
To recap:
Someone actually answered the phone at the business instead of getting routed to a service.
The person spoke clear English.
Plumber showed up on time.
Plumber was pleasant.
Work got done quickly.

Frank has done two jobs for me and he is wonderful-- fair, polite, professional, and punctual. The first job was in Sept. 2014, replacing angle stops for all the sinks in my house, and installing 5 faucets. Today he replaced the old rusty hose bibs for the washing machine, as Sears couldn't hook up the new washer until they were replaced. He explained potential issues to me and did a great job. Thanks Frank!

Had Kenny install a seismic shut-off valve on my house.
Gave a fair quote, was prompt to arrive, did the work quick/with high quality.
