When your kitchen sink disposal breaks down, call these guys!  Great customer service.  We had food sitting in there for days and couldn't grind it up--super gross!  Got an appointment and problem fixed ASAP.  Thanks guys!

I just love this team.. working through a major remodel with a very difficult GC and Stanley has been a lifesaver.  Not only is their work top notch - they are also really ethical solid people that are a pleasure to work with.  No drama, no fuss - just really solid work and communication.  

Wish more people in the industry were like this.

I've called twice now in the past year - first for a leaking hot water heater and more recently for a clogged sink.  Both times they have been super responsive, sending someone same day. Compared to other plumbers I called, they were the most responsive and reasonably priced. This week, the plumber came within 30 minutes of my call and unclogged my sink in about 15 minutes.  Since I was paying him for the hour, he offered to work on any other plumbing issues I had.  He was very personable and professional.

Sauna door hinges needed replacement, but the company that made the sauna went out of business. Hassle-Free Handyman found the parts on Amazon and installed them in an hour, including adjusting the doorframe for a good fit. Hassle-free as advertised.

Edgar came to install an under the counter water filter system for us.  He was timely, got straight to work and was clearly knowledgeable in his craft.  He did a great job efficiently and we would easily hire him again.  He made sure to clean everything up before leaving and charged a fair price.

Ben totally saved the day!

We suffered a break-in attempt yesterday morning, which ended up damaging our building's front door frame to the point that it would no longer lock. This obviously needed to get fixed ASAP and I knew that same day availability for a big job like this would be a challenge. Luckily I found Ben's page and gave him a call. He was able to fit me into his afternoon and worked until sundown to get the door frame repaired with new lumber and reinforced. He was polite, helpful, and a total pleasure to work with, and we went to bed soundly knowing that the front door was now even more secure than it was before the incident. Thanks again Ben!

I called Heise originally on a Monday and was told that a technician would call me later that day...no return phone call. I called the next day to ask for an estimate for an approximately $500.00 job. The appointment was scheduled, and then was changed at the last minute.

More importantly, after Dave Heise did show up, he said he would get back to me with an official estimate....that was over 3 weeks ago!  I guess business is so good they can afford to blow people off????

Very fast response and scheduling , even late at night for service first thing in the morning. techs were fast and communicative. Hydrojetted our sewer lateral and showed us the condition with a camera and described the source of the problem (uneven lateral) and described long term solution.

Damon and crew, has come through for me this year on multiple random issues I have had. From gas leaks to water flow, and much more. Berkeley Home Repair has fixed everything promptly and treated me with the utmost kindness. I happy to have them on my team.

Awesome service from Alicia (sp?) who took my call promptly and called back with an even earlier appointment time and the technician Andrew who showed up promptly. Andrew listened to my issue, performed a site survey and explained what he was going to and resolved the issue. He is friendly, intelligent about the work he needed to perform and knew his craft.

Asked for rekeying of five doors, repair of a non-functional bathroom fan, and fixing of a window that wouldn't open. Vladimir came on time and was communicative with me when the rekeying got complicated, but he got it done along with the window repair.

The fan wasn't able to be repaired though Vladimir tried a new switch, and Mike arranged for himself to come several days later to try again. He confirmed the fan itself was working but something had gone wrong with the switch wiring. He got a simpler switch (a simple throw switch without a off-timer sensor), and that solved the issue. In total, I paid $500 for the services (i.e., not including new hardware installed). Mike discounted me $100 for the second visit.

I appreciated that, for both the rekeying and fan, the repairmen proposed workarounds to me that I found acceptable to get the job done. Communications were always polite. I'm very inexperienced with repair costs, but the cost seemed pretty good to me.

Courteous, punctual and professional. They replaced a wax ring for our toilet and snaked the drain to get everything moving smoothly again.
Will definitely use them again for our plumbing needs.

We knew our house had radiant heat set up, but the boiler was old and had not been working. For 3+ years we were trying to find someone who would help us confirm that the pipes in the floor are fully functional and have no leaks. Ramnar was incredible - he came to evaluate what was in the house and what was necessary. Less than a week later, he came with a temporary boiler and set it up within 2 hours to run and test the tubes. He then used a heat sensor to show that the system was working throughout the entire house and we can't wait to swap out the temporary boiler and install a permanent one. Highly recommend!

I'd like to introduce you to my new plumber, Works Plumbing in Pacifica.  I had my first sewer backup in this house in 12 years.  I called my regular plumber (those who must not be named) and they said they'd put me on a waiting list, but couldn't give me a day for service.  Next I called Works Plumbing.  Right from the initial call the staff was courteous, professional, and helpful.  Taani and John arrived less than 2 hours later.  They were both great.  They checked around the property for the best options to address the problem, explained all options available to me, and quickly resolved the issue.  They cleaned up, closed out, and were just as courteous on the way out as they were on the way in.  Living on the coast can be challenging, particularly when it comes to service calls, and even more difficult when something is urgent.  It's nice to have a dependable local option.  I will definitely call Works Plumbing first next time!

Want to share my experience with Arch plumbing so others are aware. I share a condo with one other unit and my neighbors started to notice a gas smell in their garage and reached out to Arch Plumbing to see if they could help identify the leak. We were unfortunately out of town so our neighbors handled the issue. Totally aware my neighbors should of called PG&E but instead they let Arch Plumbing handle the issue. They inspected the garage, found the leak, and replaced one 3/4 gas nipple and cap and charged us $525. Please see before and after photos; it was a simple replacement that PG&E would have replaced for free or way less than $525. While I understand labor cost, the garage space was relatively small and leak was in a easily reachable part of the garage; in addition, it was a minor pipe and cap replacement. I saw the bill afterwards and called Arch Plumbing to get an explanation. It took them a few days to get back to me and I had to follow up a few times. Christian told me, they replaced a few nipples and a cracked cap. This simple replacement would have been free/ much cheaper if my neighbors had called PG&E. We were definitely over charged. The truth is, they are a plumbing company and the right thing to do would have been to have my neighbors call PG&E.

The technicians  are professional, knowledgeable and efficient. Larry has been incredibly responsive (even during his vacation!) for any and all future needs. This cousin-and-cousin plumbing team extraordinaire has come to our rescue three times now, and every time we have been completely satisfied with their work. They arrive on time, are perfect gentlemen, charge reasonable prices, and most importantly, get the job done effectively. I wouldn't hesitate to hire them again.

Had a leaky toilet. Which they did fix for appx $200. Took ten minutes to do.

Where's the problem. Now since that problem was fixed it created a new one. NOW MY TOILET WONT BARELY FLUSH TOILET PAPER. I ask myself what kind of plumber does this work. So was this person that fixed the leak an actual plumber? Or was it someone working under another plumbers license?

So we had the plumber back. Voiced our concerns of the toilet not barely being able to flush toilet paper. And he turns and says it will cost another $200 to fix the flushing power.

So $400 is what the new total to fix the toilet into being a working toilet.

Something ain't right here. This seems like highway robbery!
