Best Electric Water Heater Installation in San Francisco CA

Truly a family company. Steve and now his sons Scott and Spencer run a top-knotch shop that has been around (I found out) since 1924... they are personable, honorable, and you can not ask for a better group of people to look after your plumbing. Highly recommend.

Tromborg came right away, assessed the work that needed to be done and made an appointment to fix our plumbing two days later.  A big section of our kitchen plumbing needed to be replaced due to a leak, corroded pipes and incorrect plumbing design (is that what you would call it?).  Anyway, it took them nearly all day to replace (it was a lot of work) plus they found a blockage in our pipes and cleared it!

A+ for service from this guys.  Communication was good, and service was fast.  He was able to schedule and come out to fix an issue with my hot water in my shower the next day.   We did everything over the phone, which was convenient.  I would use him again.

Edgar came to install an under the counter water filter system for us.  He was timely, got straight to work and was clearly knowledgeable in his craft.  He did a great job efficiently and we would easily hire him again.  He made sure to clean everything up before leaving and charged a fair price.

I've had them do numerous plumbing jobs around our home over the years. This review is long overdue. The various jobs culminated in his repiping our entire sunset home summer before last when we finally swapped out the old galvanized piping for updated copper. They took care of everything from the permits to putting back the grass on the trench that was dug out to the municipal service line by the street.

They charge a fair price. When I priced things long ago, I found that you could find others who would quote cheaper prices and such but you get what you pay for. Dave et al are always on top of their game, understand and can explain what is needed and how it should be done right and then complete the job as outlined. Unexpected things do come up like when Jim was putting in a new sink in our retiled bathroom and our outside siding turned out to have dryrot and disentegrated when he worked with it. However, he made sure I knew what was going on and went the extra mile to put a caulked temporary piece of wood over the hole to act as a secure temporary barrier.

I think one indicator of a business is how long the team has been working together. Dave, Jim, Fred and everyone have been together for what seems like forever. That speaks to their not being a fly-by-night outfit and being a business who will be there and stand by their work for the long haul. It also says something about the team treating each other fairly and being happy to work with each other.

As others have noted, the lady who handles the calls in the office, once Dave has gone out to job sites after first thing in the morning, can sound a bit gruff sometimes, but she seems to be a softie under that harder exterior. She's very responsible about making sure that people get their issues handled and followed up on. To me, that's what's most important.

P.S. I just have to add that I had to chuckle over the 1 star review below where the customer was having a hot water heater replaced and also complained about being charged for parts when 'perfectly ok' original parts could have been reused. Personally, I don't want older stuff stuck back into the system that's being redone. I learned this long ago, about being penny-wise and pound foolish. It would be just one more cog in the system that is a potential weak link and ready to fail sooner.

Plumbing Guys immediately responded, book an appt for the estimate then booked the return job.  Price was fair.  Appt for the job was a bit off but this is amidst pandemic and terrible air quality so that's reasonable...    Thanks!!!

Berkeley Home Repair did an absolutely fantastic job cleaning up & repairing the dangerous mess of old wiring in our nearly 100 year old home (there was some knob and tube stuff in the basement that had probably been down there since the house was originally built!) as well as installing some new electrical in our garage. Damon, Roberto & Trish truly went above and beyond for us and even voluntarily took care of some other things for us which we didn't know needed fixing. The work was thorough, organized and cleanly done, communication was exceptional, everyone was professional and super friendly.

It's apparent that these really folks understand that the smart way to build a local business is to create strong, positive relationships with their customers. They are honest, transparent, genuine, and stand by their work. Highly, highly recommended!

I have to say I am disappointed..  I called at 9am for a regulator value leak and we are without water since we had to shut off the water to the entire house..  I called at 9am this morning and 4.5 hours later..  No return call.

Needed a couple of things fixed around my house.  Mike was on time and did a great job.

Courteous, punctual and professional. They replaced a wax ring for our toilet and snaked the drain to get everything moving smoothly again.
Will definitely use them again for our plumbing needs.

We bought a new to us home in rural Vacaville with a very nice HVAC system that had a small issue that turned out to be just a maintenance issue I was not aware of. Ramnar returned my call and came out right away in the evening and did a full service check up on our system and even corrected an issue caused by the solar company that inspected our attic for a solar installation. He explained the system to me and was very friendly and professional. I will not hesitate to use this company in the future.

These guys gave me a good quote at first.  But then when i added some more things they seemed to want to pile all the things in to one price that was super unreasonable.  Seemed like they were trying to make it more complicated on purpose.  Not impressed.

Excellent service and company. We unfortunately discovered sewer water in our garage this afternoon. After learning that the city might not come out for up to 24 hours (note, the city guy arrived just 3 hours later), we called seven different plumbers. R&L was the only one to answer and offered to send someone over right away. Thomas arrived about 30 minutes after the call and was awesome. He quickly went to work, cleaned out the street line and also ensured other issues weren't set to occur anytime soon. He also cleaned up the area and confirmed all the work with me before leaving. While the backed up house trap was not fun, we are pleased to find a good company to use in the future. Thanks guys!
