Almost don't want to share Christian with you guys, but he deserves all the accolades, and I'd like to give back to the Yelp community for helping me find him. Christian is GREAT. He answers the phone, and if he misses you he calls back in a timely manner. He is on time, has great pricing, and does professional, solid work. In this area, that's a unicorn! We've used him twice already and lining him up for another job. Highly recommend!

I called this company because the hose on the toilet tank broke and flooded my bathroom. Mike came and fixed it but left the hose too long and had a kink in it and the toilet would fill slowly. I don't know how he could have left it like this. A week later when Brad came he fixed it. When Mike was here I told him that I had some other things that needed fixed. I told him when I would let the hot water run in the bathroom sink the pipes in the wall behind the toilet would knock loudly. He said it wasn't a problem. It was the pipes expanding and said I didn't need to do anything. I want to sell my house and I don't think this would pass. I have never in my life heard anything like this. I wonder if he didn't know or did not want to fix it. I told him that both toilets had the sound like someone was flushing them and no one was. This was happening a lot. He fixed the problem and not for long because it has started again. I had some dripping faucets, kitchen faucet that was leaking and a shower head that wasn't working.
Tony's son Matt called me about the cost for parts and labor. I don't remember the exact amount but it was over $600. I said it was OK. MY BIG MISTAKE WAS NOT HAVING IT IN WRITING. I told Matt I wanted to buy a new kitchen faucet and have it installed since it was 13 yrs. old. He said they could fix the old one. I believed him and it was a big mistake.
The second morn. Brad came 45 min. late and no call. When he got here he said he had to pick up the parts but not everything came in and would have to get them the next time. I said it should have been checked before he went. I wasted a morn. waiting.
The third morn. 10 days later Brad came to fix the kitchen faucet and shower head. Tony came to help him on how to fix the shower head. Before Tony came Brad worked on the kitchen faucet a long time and could not fix it. I told Brad how I told Matt I wanted to buy a new faucet and he said no. Brad said it was my money and I should do what I want. Tony came and he and Brad could not figure out how to fix the shower head. He's the owner of a plumbing company and does not know how to fix it. Tony commented how I had good products, Kohler not some unusual brand. My son was here and heard how Tony said I would not have to pay for the labor and parts that did not work on the sink and the time with the shower head. Brad also heard him. TONY IS NOT LIVING UP TO WHAT HE SAID. Tony told Brad he would have to come back and cut a hole in the other side of the wall in the closet to fix the shower. I was really stressed out because of this. My son and I took everything out of the closet. I was to buy a new kitchen faucet which I did for $100. After Brad left I found that he had flooded out under the kitchen sink. I took everything out and it took five days for the cabinet underneath the sink to dry out. I found in the MB the faucet handles on the two sinks that Brad worked on the handles were pushed back at an angle instead of straight out to the sides. That's that way they all looked at Lowes. The faucet handles were straight out to the side. These had to be corrected on the next visit. I told Matt I did not wanted Brad back. The Invoice said I was to be credited for the time spent working on the sink and I was going to buy a new faucet which I did. I was charged twice for labor for the time working on the faucet and the shower head. I feel Matt should pay for the first labor since he advised me wrongly.
Fourth morn. six days later. Mike came back he went to work on the shower head first and it wasn't long before he had it working. I went to him and said you didn't have to cut a hole in the wall and he said he new how the Kohler shower worked. I was so relieved that no hole was cut in the wall. WHY DIDN'T TONY KNOW THIS AS A OWNER OF A PLUMBING COMPANY?
I was charged twice for the labor and parts used on the kitchen sink and shower head. This took four morn. which should have taken only two. I have not paid my bill because I want what Tony said that I would not have to pay for the parts and labor for the first time on the kitchen faucet and shower head. One day Tony was on my ans. machine and asked that I call him on his cell phone which I did and he kept yelling at me for payment. I asked him what the invoice said about parts and labor and he said he did not see it. How could this be ordered and done without an order invoice. I hung up. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO PAY FOR INCOMPETENCE AND STUPIDITY.
I did get credit on the small things for correcting the hose and faucet handles but not for the big things. I was charged the first time for the kitchen faucet and shower head $211.50 and when Mike did the same work it was $235. The original cost quoted by Matt was over $600 and I now have a bill for $902.43.
He now has a lawyer for me and his lawyer says I have to pay Tony's fees.

Great company to work with. I called late at night for a clogged drain and received a quick response. I was extremely satisfied with the service and the price was a great value! Will definitely recommend and use this company again in the future!

Not as promised. Shoddy work. Couldn't even put a faucet on at the correct angle. Actual bill twice the estimate price with no detailed explanation. Poor communication between plumbers and the owner, who never inspected the work site to see what was going on.
Go elsewhere- certainly not recommended if you're looking for craftsmanship.
Failed job.

Anton's technicians are quite good when it comes to installing and maintaining furnaces and air-conditioners. About five years ago they installed a furnace, air-conditioning system, and new duct work in my home. All went well until we tried the air-conditioner which cooled our upstairs nominally, but left the basement much, much colder. The duct worked leaked profusely because it had many gaps in it and too few sheet metal screws. The owner came to my home and claimed the duct work was done correctly and suggested a very expensive procedure to correct my problem. I felt the job should have been done without the necessity to fix the problem. I have complained about the faulty duct work repeatedly but now do not even get a response from Anton's. I'll just have to go to a different company.

The work quality was ok but to be totally honest it's been hard working with them. We'd been scheduled for a week and nobody showed. All day called to try to find out when or if someone was coming. Blocked our whole day waiting and got almost no communication. Owner called and said he'd come to make it right. Which is good. But I won't be using them again.

J.E. Redington Plumbing, is the BEST! Unknowingly he brought his crew over to repair my water meter, but on his first visit he saw that I had a problem with my gate and Jeff Redington and Tim Moore got busy with his drill and screws and repaired it for me the gate while his crew was in the basement repairing the water meter. Jeff said on his first visit he did not know whether to stay or leave because of my dog's, but he stayed!!! Thank you! Tim Moore asked me if I was Paula, I told him that Paula was my baby sister and they would be at Saints Skating ring. Before they left I asked the man in the beige pants his name and he told me Jeff Redington, I said you're the owner! I asked if I can pay them for the repair and he refused!!!!! They both said that my smile is enough! After they left I went in my basement and only Andy was their. I loudly said they all left without getting paid. Andy said their are still a few good people here! Thank you Jehovah! I asked Andy could I pay him, he refused also. I cried and prayed and I Andy Jehovah used him to help bless me with J.E. REDINGTON PLUMBING!

BEWARE!! He came out, cut a hole in our ceiling, put wax around a pipe that he said would hold and stop the leak (it didn't), while he ordered parts needed. Said he would be back between 10-12 on Wednesday. No call no show. We called and called with no response and finally at 5:30 he picked up. He said he'd be here the next day. Thursday came and went and no call, no show! So, here we sit with a hole in our ceiling, can't use the upstairs baths and the holidays upon us. I get it if he reconsidered, the job was over his head, he didn't want to do it, was too busy...BUT, then you call and tell someone that... you don't just leave them hanging. Terrible and I see other reviews here are similar. Unfortunately I looked at Nextdoor.

I needed assistance with drain in the basement that caused water to come up whenever it rained. The technician slightly made the situation seem small although it was frustrating to me. Took him about 20 minutes to let me know that there were roots within the system that could possibly be the problem while stating they were small as if they couldn't possibly be the problem. However, I figured, what do I have to lose other than $230 to get them cut down. Fortunately, the roots were indeed the problem as it has rained numerous times and the rain hasn't had any effect on my basement since.

This was the 2nd plumbing service we called out on the same day. The first company (AAA Plumbing aka AAA Home Services) totally misdiagnosed the problem and told us there was nothing they could do because we needed a licensed line layer and they weren't licensed. We were still charged a $78.50 service call charge. We called O'Fallon Sewer and they came right out and fixed the problem. Nice, friendly and efficient.

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with in my life. The incident happened 2 years ago at this point, but I am still so enraged that I wanted to write a review. They almost blew up my house. They are the most irresponsible, sexist, disrespectful, dishonest, and abhorrent company. Hire literally ANYONE else than this company.
We had just purchased our home and needed a gas line installed so we could use our new gas stove when our appliances were to arrive the next day. I called tiger because I see their trucks everywhere and they had decent reviews with the BBB. HUGE mistake. We already had gas in our house and our basement was unfinished so all they had to do was run a short gas line a few feet to where our stove would be placed. They quoted me a price 5x what anyone else would charge($850) but being a new home owner and being in a rush I agreed to the price without knowing any better. They used the cheapest materials out there and were extremely rude to me.
Fast forward a day and we were getting ready to leave for a week long vacation. We rarely go down to our basement, but I just had a feeling that I should. So I went down there and thought I smelled something. When my fiancé and I came back upstairs we felt sick. We were concerned that there was a gas leak. My fiancé went back down to turn the gas off quickly and we called Ameren. We were instructed to get in our car, not close any door or even hang up the phone to avoid possibly igniting the gas, and drive down the street. Meanwhile all out of neighbor's and the DAYCARE across the street were in danger as we hoped our house didn't explode. Ameren arrived quickly and found a massive gas leak. The Ameren technician said there must have been no way that Tiger ever checked for leaks (like they told us they did) as the leak was massive from them not screwing something together correctly. He said had we not caught the leak before we left town there likely would have been a catastrophe.
When I called tiger first thing the next day all they said was that well your house didn't blow up and the leak was fixed to there was no problem. The manager I spoke to was more concerned about what my fiancé thought about it than me. Apparently with this company women have no rights. I wish I had recorded the conversation because I have never in my life spoken with someone as sexist and disrespectful as this company. People would be shocked with how the manager spoke to me.
After multiple phone calls and threatening a horrible review with the BBB I was refunded part of my money ($550 of the $850 I was charged initially) I then spent way too much time pulling their fucking stickers off of every appliance in my house.
They only reason this company has a decent BBB rating is because they bribe people not to write bad reviews but shutting them up with refunds after mistreating them and screwing them over. After this was all over I began talking to people about Tiger and everyone I spoke to knew they were a horrible company that makes their money by screwing over little old ladies and people who don't know better.
I have made sure to tell everyone I meet to never use this company and I will do so until the day I die. This is an irresponsible, selfish, and dangerous company. Do NOT use them if you would like to keep your house and family safe.

Beware of Unreliable Contractors!
Hey everyone, I need to share a frustrating experience I had with a contractor who not only did a shoddy job but also refused to come back and fix their mistakes.
I hired elite Home services to complete a project at my home, expecting professional and quality work. Boy, was I wrong! From the moment they started, it was clear that they lacked attention to detail and craftsmanship. The end result was a disaster, to name just a few issues , my tenants can't get full use of their bathroom faucet after they installed the new faucet, I couldn't get an answer as to why my light fixtures we're not working when doing an electrical inspection just over all they have me sloppy finishes.
Naturally, I reached out to elite Home services to address the issues and have them rectify their mistakes. But to my utter disbelief, they flat out refused to come back and make things right! after I threatened to take them to court they then offered to come back out, but only picking and choosing what they feel is a completed job, but then never setting a confirmed time to come out to do the rest of the install correctly .
It's as if they took my money and ran, leaving me with a half-finished and poorly executed project. Talk about unprofessionalism!
I've tried reasoning with them, explaining the importance of delivering on their promises and fulfilling their contractual obligations. However, they have shown no remorse or willingness to correct their errors. It's incredibly frustrating and disheartening to be left with a subpar job and no resolution in sight.
I'm sharing this review to warn others about the unreliability and lack of accountability displayed by elite Home services. If you're considering hiring them for any project, I strongly advise against it! Save yourself the headache, disappointment, and wasted money.
Let's hold contractors like elite Home services accountable for their poor workmanship and refusal to stand behind their services. We deserve better! Spread the word and help others avoid falling into the same trap. Together, we can make a difference!
