Best Heater Installation in Sacramento CA

I had such a great experience with Better B Plumbing and Drain. On Thanksgiving, I noticed I had sewage backed up in my yard. I called around and Brandon (owner) was able to come out the very next day and clear the pipe for me. I was very impressed with his excellent customer service and reasonable prices. I was not expecting that anyone would be able to come out over the holiday weekend. I would definitely call Brandon again for any future plumbing needs! Highly recommended.

I should call this the clogged sewer novel since it is a bit long and stretches the imagination.

All facts are true, and I'm sharing it here because you may live in Stockton and may need to know this information.

I'll try to keep it brief:

(Quick explanation: I look out for my Aunt in Stockton, who is 92 years old and lives alone. However, I live in another state so I depend on caregivers to update me.)

1. Thursday evening 11/19/15. My Aunt's bathroom drained clogged. She did not call me. She called a plumbing company, (call this Plumbing Company #1). They had a plumber named Steve who was there for 2 hours. Didn't solve it. No one called me.

2. Friday 11/20/15 - time unknown, Steve and another plumber came out again. Went on the roof, ran a snake down vent pipe for 100 feet. Said they were there 3 hours. Didn't solve it. No one called me.

3. Friday 11/20/15 at 4:19 PM. Caregiver services called me to tell me that their worker told them about the clogged drain and they wanted to let me know.

4. Saturday around noon - I called Plumbing Company #1 to find out what went on. Their secretary said they contacted to City of Stockton to have someone come out since they had been unable to locate the clean out pipe. This is a pipe, normally in the front yard, that the City or a plumber can use to clear a clogged drain.

5. Saturday afternoon - My Aunt said a city worker must have been to the house because they left a note on her door that said we needed to pay a plumber to find or install a clean out access pipe.

6. Sunday- one of the neighbors poked around in the front yard but could not find a clean out pipe. He referred me to another plumber, let's call him Plumber #2. I spoke with #2. He said he would come out Monday morning and if he couldn't solve it we didn't have to pay anything.

7. Sunday evening - since I was now very concerned, I called Plumber #1 and told them they did not need to come back out again.

8. Monday morning - 8:45 - Plumber #2 came to the house. I know because a neighbor was off work and came over to supervise. Plumber #2 and his son-in-law went on the roof and ran their 100 foot snake. Pulled out a few items, but did not solve the blockage. They also dug around in the front yard but could not locate the clean out.

9. Monday about noon - Received a call from secretary at Plumber #1, wanting to know how I wanted to take care of their bill. I told them there were a number of companies in Stockton that said if they couldn't clear the drain you didn't owe anything.

She replied that was not their policy and that I owed a total of $785. for 2 hours on Thursday night and 3 hours on Friday. I told her she could reach me at the hospital because I just had a heart attack. She said they were sending an invoice and would do whatever necessary to collect their money.

9. Tuesday morning - 8:30 - I called Plumber #2. He said they had not solved the problem. I told him I know they tried so he could send us a bill. He said absolutely not, didn't solve it, didn't owe them a penny.

10. Tuesday morning - 10:00 -  I had been researching on the Internet for over two days and finally decided to call another plumber, James from JC Plumbing. By the time I was able to reach James it was getting dark so he said he would come out Wednesday morning (today).

11. Tuesday night - time unknown - Three neighbors teamed up and used a metal detector and steel rod, poked around in the front yard and did not find the clean out. They gave up. Said there probably was not a clean out.

11. Wednesday morning - 9:00 - James came to the property, located the clean out, solved the problem.

I have to say most of the time calling a plumber sucks. This time it did not. Very impressed with service I received. They engaged me and my home in a kind a courteous manner. The work was quick, high quality, and affordably priced. I would highly recommend them to a family or friend for any plumbing needs. Robert and Jorge who helped me were both great!

US Trenchless did a prepurchase inspection of a 50+ year old townhouse we were purchasing.  Their inspection revealed the original line from our property was heavily corroded and needed to be cleaned out.  Although I was not happy about the additional expense related to purchasing, we went ahead and had the line cleaned
Best thing we could have done !  Within a month, the sewer line was clogged and backing up.  I called US Trenchless and they were out the next day and ran the camera down the line.  It was clear.  As it turned out, there was a block in the main line that is controlled and maintained by the HOA.   Had I not had US Trenchless clean out our line,I would have ended up calling plumbers and would have paid them when the real problem was out of my control.

We called Leo around 8 pm after being turned down by several other plumbers in the area (including one we've used a lot in the past).  Leo didn't hesitate and came right over he arrived clean and professional (8pm ) in  Appearance and went right to work. He tried several things to trouble shoot the problem trying to ensure a cost effective repair. Once he diagnosed the issue he went to work quickly fixed the problem and cleaned up the space. This type of customer service is difficult to find in todays world. I'm happy to say I found someone that values a customer's satisfaction as much as he does their money. I'll be using Leo for any future needs.

These may seem like small things but to me, they are everything. I called about replacing a garbage disposal for my Mom in Sun City. We agreed on a price and time and... he showed up when promised, did the work agreed to and for the price. Very polite, professional and cleaned up-I might have actually been cleaner after than before!

We will hands down use Ted again for future needs...

What?????  An HONEST plumber?  Why YES!  These guys are as good as it gets. Had them come out today to inspect a potential leak. Jeff was on time and informed me what the issue (actually lack there of) was under my house FREE of charge!  Gotta love a company that gives TOP NOTCH customer service!  I would definitely utilize their services again!

Erik was recommended to me by my contractor who helps me with my rental properties. I had a leaking water pipe under the slab foundation. Water was everywhere and the water bills were through the roof. Erik came out on short notice and took a look at it and did an initial survey and determined that he would need to break through the concrete slab in the master bathroom to find the source of the leak. Knowing the sense of urgency to get this corrected, he was out the next morning on a SATURDAY with his leak detector, jackhammer and drop cloth to get to work finding the leak. It was like a small lake outside the house. He set up a pump to evacuate the water and set to work getting through the floor and find the leak. He pinpointed the leak with amazing accuracy. He had the pipe repaired that day, and by early afternoon, there was no more leak. He was neat and tidy going in and out of the house and not making a mess at all. When the job was done, everything was as neat as could be. The sense of urgency was not lost on him, and I am eternally thankful for the work he did to get my property in good working order again. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you, Erik for saving the day!

Prompt, honest, and skilled service from Jeff who came to repair my water heater . Only to discover parts were hard to come by and the maker was misleading us with parts that weren't needed.
 So, I decided to go with an American made water heater recommend by Jeff. In my experience as a retired contractor this is an ongoing issue dealing with foreign made products.
 All was installed in a short time to my satisfaction. Also, Thanks to Troy for making it all happen. I will call on Abe Lincoln Plumbing for all my future pluming needs.

Called AJ at 2pm on a Saturday due to a clog in our garage sink. He was at our house 15 mins later and fixed the problem at a reasonable price!

Called due to a plumbing issue that I needed help with ASAP and he came immediately the next morning. He even charged us the exact price he quoted on the phone. It the price was very fair and when he came he quickly identified the issue and fixed it with ease. He was so nice and I recommend him for any plumbing issues!

Figs Plumbing is great.  They show up on time, and know what they are doing.  Plus the price is reasonable.   I will contact Daniel at Figs Plumbing for all my future plumbing needs.

Doug is the best plumbing contractor I have ever dealt with.
Our new house came with an in-law unit that once had a kitchen, but was removed prior to the sale. Why do people do that?
The sheetrock was left open, where the plumbing was removed from the walls. With one detailed phone call, Doug was able to diagnose what was needed to fix the place back up by asking lots of detailed questions.
He showed up at 7:30 on a Saturday with all the supplies needed to do the job. All of the following was accomplished in one long day.
Ran new water lines (soldered copper pipe) to kitchen sink, bathroom sink, and new runs for laundry.
Ran all 2 ABS drain lines from kitchen sink, bathroom sink and laundry room.
Ran new vents through roof for all.
Ran new 3/4 threaded gas lines for stove and dryer.

Doug is a real pro with all the right tools to do the job right the first time.

Oly is fantastic. He answered when I called (rather than making me leaving a message and wait for a callback). He came out within a few hours of me calling, diagnosed the problem within a couple of minutes, and went right to work clearing my kitchen drain pipe. He had the line clear and the space cleaned within 30 minutes of arriving and at a very reasonable rate. I will be using these guys for all of my plumbing needs going forward.

My home warranty company couldn't find a plumber to manage a sewage backup, so I called a few 5-Star companies here on Yelp. Sadly, everyone was booked, as it was the Saturday of the 4th of July weekend.

Boyd agreed to come out within 2-3 hours (PERFECT!). I had a preapproval for hydro-jetting the sewer line, which Boyd also has... others did not (expensive equipment).  They came out, cleared the line and then pushed a camera down inside to help identify a broken pipe that may have been missed by others.

The only piece they slipped on was the request for hydrojet upon arrival. The technician they sent out did NOT have the equipment with him and had to come back.

All-in-all, my tenants were happy, and that's what's important to me as a landlord.

We felt confident when we were contacted by A Better Plumbing. However,  as we attempted to call back it took nearly an hour before we were able to connect to the office. Still,, we made arrangements to have a person to come assess/repair the problem we were having. That person never showed, we never received a phone call from from anyone. Hopefully there was not a dire emergency they had to tend to.  But it has been 3 days, still no call from this company or Home Advisor. Will be a long time before we deal with HA, as they have not called either to follow up.

Don't waste your time contacting them. After going through the process they won't give any sort of estimate over the phone. They use the classic salesman technique, we need to be in your home, don't carry pricing in the office. While I get it, pricing can vary, you aren't going to convince me that you haven't done any installs before and are unable to get an idea of what a cheap water heater install would run without being in my house.

You know how much water heaters of specific types cost and you know how much your labor is worth. That should be more than enough to provide a basic quote. Instead they turn away business by not providing simple information.

Additionally, they won't work on homes in escrow. So if you are thinking about escrowing then don't go with them.
