Had Trevor do some plumbing work at my home in Folsom.  Cannot say enough good things about the work.  He took the time to get the job done right and would not leave until the work was completed correctly and to my satisfaction.

I will be using his services again in the future.

I did a fair amount of research in small amount of time when my water heater ruptured. I was quoted by 3 other companies and none of them came within $300 of what Savage and Son quoted. They couldn't get out same day, but I set an appointment or the next day. I called the morning of the appointment and asked that they switch out my kitchen sink and faucet while they were here. They moved their scheduling around and told me it wouldn't be a problem. Carlos showed up right on time. He was SUPER friendly and professional. He fixed everything that I asked of him and the total bill for everything was less than the second best quote I received for just the water heater. I am totally happy with Savage and Son. I have already referred them a couple times since. Thank you guys.

Gibson Plumbing was involved in two of our bathroom remodels, so when we had a issue with our water main we called Gibson Plumbing. From our initial call with Michelle to Cary's speedy survey of our issue and plan to solve our problem, we were very pleased.  Daryl and Sal arrived as scheduled and worked in less than ideal conditions between a tree and brick wall!  Cary returned review the job with us. A toilet clogged in the middle of the night (on a Sunday night, no less) at a vacation rental we manage. I didn't want to risk serious water damage, so I did a quick search and found RAM Plumbing. I had another plumbing company come out three separate times to try to install a water filter, air gap, and toilet. Each time, there was an excuse as to why something couldn't be done. I got sick of it and called Preferred Plumbing. They sent Tony (#74)  and he knocked everything out with ease. If you're tired of dealing with inept people, do yourself a favor and call these guys. Highly recommended.

The worst experience with any in home service. These guys don't know what an appointment means. Cancellation after cancellation. Your time is not as important as theirs and if the job is too complicated they'll just make up excuses to avoid fixing it.

I would definitely recommend this company to any friend for plumbing services. I spoke with the company to compare other plumbing quotes that I received in my area, and got several great ideas about ways to resolve the issue I was experiencing. They were courteous and helpful even though they knew they weren't going to get my business (because I live in a different state). Their ideas eventually helped me resolve my plumbing issues, at half the price!

A plumbing emergency after Thanksgiving had me stressed!  I was looking for someone to come quickly.  After calling around and not able to get anyone until later in the afternoon, I called Gary's.  They were able to get someone over to me in around an hour and he was done in an hour.  I was prepared to pay a fortune but ended up completing everything in an hour on top of it, he told me he thought he could clear the clogged main line with a snake but if it didn't work he would use a camera.  Not wanting to waste time I asked about doing the camera to begin with.  He said no that he strongly felt that the snake would clear it and why waste the money.  Honestly I was shocked most contractors would have just said yes but he didn't.  You have to respect that in a business this day and age where there are so many unscrupulous businesses.  I would say if you need a plumber definitely call these guys!  You will not be disappointed.  If I could I would give more stars!  So grateful that they had the time to come and save my day!

I knew when I bought my 70 year old house that the sewer line was ... sensitive. That compromises would have to be made for pipes well past their expiration date. But this year it became clear that it was time to call in the professionals to take care of a problem I had hoped to avoid - a complete replacement of the sewer line.

I was referred to A1 Plumbing, and from start to finish, they couldn't have been better to deal with. Their estimate was more than fair (and less than I had been dreading). The team arrived on time (a rarity these days). They excavated four deep holes with a care for the existing landscaping. They did the pipe bursting and connections (fascinating!). And then they put everything back together so well that it's hard to tell at first glance that they were even there. All of this they did in two days with me watching over their shoulders, asking questions about the process and taking pictures. They turned what could have been nothing more than a depressing necessity into a fascinating demonstration of skill and knowledge.

No one wants to have to replace a sewer line. But if you find yourself in that position, know that the people at A1 Plumbing are the ones to call, full stop.

We have a vacation home in Incline Village.  It is a vacation home so we aren't there on a regular basis. Also we only visit our house over  long weekends or for several weeks in the summer and winter.  Discovered wet walls one Friday and it turned out there was  a hole in the sewage pipe that came from the second floor master bath.  Apparently a squirrel had eaten a hole through the pipe. Called Roto-Rooter and Bryan  Ahsam came out the same day. Turned out the job was bigger than anyone thought, but Bryan worked hard and efficiently.  He  had to run out for parts several times.  When the Ace Hardware closed he then had to go to Sparks to get more parts.  He returned and continued until about 10:45 pm.  Still wasn't done though so he came back early the next morning to finish the job. He really had to put a puzzle together so I appreciate that he took his time to get it right.  He was very professional. Since we were only up for this particular weekend we appreciated the good service.

I have used D&D for several projects since moving here 5 years ago, including installing a new water heater. They are the best.  Quick response, reasonable prices. I have recently had to call them twice when the pilot light went out on the hot water heater. Both times they were able to divert a service person who had just completed a job to my house within an hour. And, they didn't charge me!  Anytime someone is looking for a plumber I always try to steer them to D&D.

Had a new water heater and central heat/air installed in our 20 year old modular. The service was amazing and everything is working great. What a relief from the heat of August!
Kevin was so thorough and professional. He even came back the following day (his day off) just to check with us and make sure everything was the way we wanted it.

Called these guys, spoke with the owner. Told me he was finishing a job in my park, and would be by first thing in the AM to fix my electrical problem. Never showed although I did see him in my park that day-and never returned my call and message to reschedule. I guess you need a big job and big wallet to get this guys attention. Not a reliable contractor as far as I'm concerned. He should have at least called and cancelled, rescheduled, or at least apologized for hanging me up. A big thumbs DOWN!!
