Van Allen plumbing was who I went with when I got a quick response! My moms friend recommended them and I'm so happy! They reached out, I got in touch with them and they came out on the date and time they said and I am so appreciative. My husbands grandma needed a new garbage disposal and the pipe needed some work etc. thank you guys for being so kind and getting the job done at a reasonable price. We will always go through you guys if we need another plumbing service.

Great guys!  They just finished fixing my heater unit blower motor.  In the hottest heat wave of the year, the motor quits, and we lose the AC.  They came out quickly, fit us in an already hectic schedule, and had it fixed the next day.

Great service, fast and efficient.  I expected to be without AC for a week, or at minimum a few days.  They got us up and running fast.

A guest staying at my condo clogged the kitchen sink. I called/emailed 3 plumber in the morning. Later that morning, John was the first (and only) one to call me back. He was busy, however found time to unclog the sink that afternoon. Good work!

Long review, but I feel you need the backstory.

My tub was slow to drain, and I purchased a Home Warranty a couple years ago, so I put in a claim. The company sent out Roto Rooter. I figured, it's a National company, so they should be able to fix this, right?

Well, after the guys said they snaked the drain about 10 feet, the snake wouldn't go any farther. They said, because the house was old, the line needed to be replaced. Sounded reasonable. The bill after snaking the line was over $260! AND....my tub drained slower than before they got there!

In comes Rooter Bee's AJ. He was super logical even on the phone call, and was able to come out the next day. He was prompt, clean, courteous, and incredibly smart and logical in diagnosing what could be happening.

AJ did a full diagnosis before starting to work, which the other plumbers did not. He went into the crawl space and found MY LINE HAD ALREADY BEEN REPLACED!!!  Roto Rooter's guys never went into the crawl space, and if I had taken their professional opinion, they would've charged me for a replacement that was unnecessary!

After coming out of the crawlspace, AJ snaked the drain, and in 20 minutes, it was cleared. His invoice to me was LESS than Roto Rooter, and my problem was fixed!

As long as he will have me as a client, AJ will be my one and only plumber!

Jet plumbing and heating was able to fix an issue with my furnace that I've been dealing with for a couple of years. I live in a newer house and the warranty ran out, the original installer went out of business. The builder recommended a different company who came out multiple times, wouldn't listen to what I was describing as the issue. This company charged us a few hundred dollars and the problem continued. We would wake up in the middle of the night and the furnace wasn't working.

Jet came out and really listened to what I had to say and was able to fix the problem. Now the furnace works and I don't have to worry about it. Over the last 8 years I have recommended to all my customers at work and I've never had a complaint and the prices are always fair. This has to be one of the best companies in Reno.

Very professional! Always clean and neat. Nothing left half done. I was very happy with the work.

ROOT ME!!!!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF WHEN EVER THEY CAN!

I had the misfortune to have this company do a service call on my roof top swamp cooler. Somehow, it started leaking and my HOA called Root-O-Matic to stop the leak. The bill the HOA presented to me came in at 2 hours at 84.00 per hour, 168.00. The repair was for adjusting the float valve.
I felt that this was an excessive amount of time to do such a simple repair. I complained to the HOA. They told me they couldn't adjust the invoice and to call John, and talk to him. I call several times and left messages for John and Luis. I even called, asking for a quote on doing a repair. Neither answered or returned my calls. I had to resort to using a fictions name to speak with Luis. With out going into detail, and acting like a stupid home owner, he accurately diagnosed the problem and said it was an easy fix, no more than and hour. So, 84.00.
I call the HOA back and relayed what I found out. Again, no help but the HOA guy there said he would talk to the owner, John, about why they billed out at 2 hour for a 30 minute job. When the HOA guy got back to me, he said they didn't have a ladder to get to the roof and had to go back to the shop. So I have to pay for their stupidity!!!!!!! I called John again and left a VM. Again, no return call.
If you still think it is a smart idea to use this company, make sure to tell them all the tools that they need to bring. Ladders, hammers, pliers, drain cleaner, might even remind them to bring their truck. Otherwise, they will be more than happy to over bill you when they didn't bring what they needed. Oh, I and I suspect that they will be more than happy to bill you when they don't do the job right too. Just make sure you keep an eagle eye on them.

We had them come out to clear our line and it lasted 3 days. They came back out under the warranty and for some reason couldn't run their snake because we have a possible broken pipe! That's strange it was fine just a few days prior. They tell us we will need to have a camera ran to see and that would be an additional charge and nobody could do that until the next day. We have one bathroom, having no toilet for 2 days is not livable. We end up being left with no bathroom again. We decided to call another company the next day they come out and clear our line no issue. They also ran a camera at no charge! I just find it very odd these guys couldn't run their snake but 2 feet but the new company comes in has no issue!!! We called and requested a refund being they were unable to provide the service we paid them for and the gal at the office said she would look into it and call me back within 30 minutes. Yeah it's been 2 days and still no call back and no refund. TERRIBLE WAY TO RUN A BUSINESS!

Very friendly and thorough. Fixed the obstruction in the tub's waste pipe via mechanical snaking and then replaced some old toilet tank valves. All in the same visit. Excellent job, thank you!

After calling several other plumbing companies and a couple of no-shows, I left a message at JM Plumbing and Josh quickly returned my call. Despite being super busy, he made time to come fix our broken pipe. He was responsive, knowledgeable and did the job at a fair price. I would highly recommend JM Plumbing over any other plumbing companies in North Lake Tahoe.

I needed a new garbage disposal installed. I called 3 companies for quotes. One couldn't quote-had to send a plumber out to tell me the price, one quoted $150. Johnson Plumbing quoted $95. They installed my garbage disposal in about 30 minutes. Ken was pleasant and knowledgeable. I will definitely call them for my plumbing needs!

Hoffman Plumbing did a wonderful service at my house! My house was built in the 70's so I didn't know exactly what the problem was with the water, but they stepped through everything to figure out what parts were needed, left to pick up the parts as they found the problem, told me everything that was going on as they found problems, and I had running hot water the same day!

A-1 Plumbing is an unethical business that overcharges its customers. I was referred to them to repair a leaky toilet water connection (from the water outlet on the wall to the toilet tank). Their repairman Roger decided to replace the fill valve inside the tank (which was unnecessary) in addition to the leaking external flex tubing. He charged $370.00, $185.00 for the fill valve (Lowe's price $18.48) and $185.00 for the 20 minutes of installation. Potential customers should be aware of this fraudulent business.

I called at 9am on Monday to fix my sink, since it was backed up and they had someone at my house by 11am that same day. Excellent customer service! AJ was quick and very helpful! I'm very pleased with the fast work and great customer service! I recommend Roto-Rooter for your plumbing needs!!

I was very happy with their service. I needed to have a water heater replaced. They were prompt, courteous, and quick. The installation was carefully done and everything is working as it should. Price was in line with other places we called. I'll use them again. Happy to have found a trustworthy plumber!
