Of the FIVE area plumbers I contacted about a small repair I needed, only two of them responded.  Of the two, only Curtis was willing to do that small of a job.  He showed up exactly when he promised to and wrapped it up in less than an hour.  If I ever have a larger job, I know who I am going to call.

I also appreciated the pleasant woman who answered the phone when I initially called who also let me know when Jason was 30 minutes out.
Another employee called about an hour later to make sure I was happy which was new to me that I thought was a nice touch

After our main water line broke, I called for three estimates, as I do with any work in my home. Re-Pipe Specialists came out for an estimate on time, with samples of PEX piping, and information for me to read through. The representative they sent out was incredibly knowledgeable, polite, friendly, I can't say enough good about him. Of course I'm not knowledgeable about pipes; he made sure to explain things but I didn't feel dumb about it. I actually learned a lot. The price he quoted me was completely affordable.

Fast forward to yesterday, when the crew showed up to get to work. There were a number of guys who patiently waited as I cornered all five cats to get them into one room for safety. They laid down sheets all over the house so the floors would stay clean and did a walk through inspection and explained everything in great detail. The personalities of these guys were awesome. They're from ProDrain, the company subcontracted by Re-Pipe Specialists. I felt comfortable with them being in my home while I was at work all day. They were confident, friendly, and just the nicest guys.

I came home from work and there were no work trucks outside of my home. I walked inside, and my home was silent. No more water leak sounds, no more dripping faucets. I double checked everything - above and beyond work. I think they actually left our garage bathroom cleaner than it was when they got here? Our tap water is drinkable straight from the tap. Our water pressure is amazing. The bathroom shower is amazing!!! There was zero, zero mess left behind. And the pipes are professionally put in place - the job passed inspection today. They literally re-piped our entire home in a work day.

They even watered my daphne plants before they left. Come on!!!! It does not get better than this. The great, positive attitude, the great customer service, totally reasonable price, and the exceptional job... I am beyond happy with my experience.

I can not begin to say enough great things about this company. I have been a customer of Sky Heating and Air Conditioning for a little over 2 years now. It started with having our 15 year old air conditioner and furnace serviced and we were so pleased with the service, professionalism and knowledge of their service tech Rick for our first years maintenance and Gerry for our second years maintenance that we started following their Facebook page and website to see about the other services they offer.

We became very interested in the duct cleaning and Aeroseal service and called them to get information on the process and quote to have it done. After the service manager Michele explained how much more efficient the duct cleaning and Aeroseal would make our existing system we were sold. We booked them for the next week. Again, the crew that showed up, Cesar, Morgan and Corey were very courteous, professional, knowledgeable and answered our many questions. In the Aeroseal process they test the efficiency of your ductwork and we found out that our ductwork has the equivalent of a four foot hole in it, after the Aeroseal it was virtually airtight. In just a few short months we have noticed a considerable savings on our gas and electric bills.

Another service that we have taken advantage of is the Laundry Pro. This device took their technician 15 minutes to install to our existing washing machine. The science is beyond me, but it uses only cold water and NO detergent. This is a big deal because our son has very sensitive skin. The clothes actually come out of the wash feeling cleaner and softer and again only cold water and no soap! More money in the bank for us!

Next on our list of things that Sky Heating and Air Conditioning can do for us will be an air scrubber because our other son has severe seasonal allergies.  

When the furnace and air conditioner that came with our house finally give up the goat you know Sky Heating and Air Conditioning will be getting the call!

Our kitchen sink faucet began leaking from multiple places which set off the water alarm in the sink base cabinet. Sean helped give us information on possible causes. He communicated fast and well with an estimate provided from pictures. The pricing was competitive and reasonable. The job is complete and our new faucet look and works great! Thanks!

Initially I loved this plumber, he did a great job on my kitchen faucet. It was expensive but it was done right.  So a few months later I called because my shower was dripping. When they came I had already obtained the gasket for my shower head but was told it was not needed as it wasn't the gasket but some other minor item which they fixed.  I paid the $200 service charge, which seemed a bit steep for the 15 minutes it took but it was fixed.  No. 2 weeks later the shower started dripping again & continued at odd intervals over the next few weeks until I called to ask them to come back.  Which they did today & at my insistence replaced the gasket & charged me, again. $350 + parts for the same leaky shower. Not happy customer.

Exactly as advertised. If you're wondering how a business can possibly have so many consistently high ratings and great reviews, it's no hype with these guys - they are the real deal! I'm a ten year-plus veteran of the service industry, and Ti and Courtney provided us some of the best end-to-end customer service I've ever seen or received. Responsive, communicative, honest, friendly, professional, on time and on budget.

We'd initially scheduled a water heater replacement for our newly purchased home. Ti explained all of our options clearly, no pushy upsell, just the facts. If you have any second thoughts about their prices, know you will absolutely get what you pay for: thorough knowledge, high-quality parts, and expert workmanship. Considering the amount of damage a two dollar plumbing part can cause your home, is that really where you want to go cheap?

Late in the game I found a leaky washing machine tap, and they were able to squeeze in replacing those on the same service call as the water heater. While the original estimate called for cutting drywall to replace the entire valve box, Ti found he was able to reuse the existing box, saving us over 300 dollars. They could have easily changed the box anyway and charged us accordingly, and we'd have been none the wiser...that kind honesty is refreshing, and can win you a customer for life.

We even just got a handwritten Christmas card from them, and a coupon off future work. Rest assured we will be using it! We highly recommend Sutherland Plumbing.

We had a plumbing issue with our tub drain and needed someone to come out and check it out. John was super helpful and was able to fit me in same day. He explained everything and was able to get everything fixed. Such great customer service and prices also very reasonable. Would definitely recommend and would use them again!

Dave showed up exactly on time and cleaned our blocked drain in about 15 mins. He helped us out on extremely short notice. Super nice person and very reasonable price considering the rush and excellent service. He even cleaned the gross sink sludge afterwards!

I hate to write a bad review, better to let things go and just move on, but I really do not want someone else treated as bad as we were.  We had a leaky steam shower, one of the guys came over and was just lost how to fix it, he said he would contact the company that made the shower and we never heard back from him again.  We called, left messages with a nice girl in the office on a weekly basis and still nothing. They should have just said this repair  was above their heads, instead the just left us hanging.  So a month later I started looking up another plumber to call, but my wife wanted an answer why no one ever called back, so we got a manager who wanted to defend his company so he came over, made a horrible temporary repair and charged us almost $300 dollars, I said one of the parts did not look like a quality part, he said that was all he had on the truck, and IT BROKE 4 DAYS LATER.  All of this was after we had talked about a possible $20,000 bathroom remodel.  Not good plumbers and worst business people.

They replaced our under ground service line because of leaks in the old pipe. Excellent service, Alan is so knowledgeable and professional. He was very responsive, always communicated and kept us informed of their progress. Highly recommend!

Brent, son of the late Rex answered the phone promptly, called me back promptly after getting my details and came and left in a flash.  Nothing was obviously wrong with my water heater and he gave an explanation of how it worked and answered a couple questions I had.  This man deserves your business even if he didn't fix my problem as there was only a slight adjustment needed.  Not your typical plumber in a very good way.

Danaya is terrific! She was the first plumber that found the metric adapters to install an IKEA sink in our 1929 house. I've since used her services to update our plumbing fixtures, add hose bibs, and solve leaks. I've referred her to friends and family for several years all with success. She is very reasonable, professional, and always pleasant. I'm always relieved to know Danaya is on the job.

Ryan was on time, friendly, focused, thorough and patient in his investigation of a few different leaks. He promptly and efficiently corrected the issues showing and educating us about what was wrong and how it was fixed along the way.

This was the second time i used Cornel's Plumbing.  My new washer couldn't be hooked up to the water supply because my house has horrible PVC plumbing.  The PVC pipe had become brittle and fused to the hot water valve.  It was late in the afternoon when I called Cornel's, and they sent a plumber out the morning of the very next work day.  Yay!!!  Although he warned me the pipe could very likely break when he tried to remove it, it didn't, thank goodness.  I was only charged his $150 trip fee.  Double yay!!!  Cornel's Plumbing will continue to be my preferred company in the future.  I highly recommend them.

I called Trident out and a tech named kyris showed up, he was professional, courteous, and explained everything thoroughly.  he gave me a bid  showing me exactly what needed to be done and I was a little skeptical at first but I agreed to the price as it was much lower than the other to companies in Salem that gave me bids. Kyris finished up the work and I was blown at how good he did! I will now use Trident Plumbing from now on.. 5 stars for the above and beyond work he did at his price. thank you

Travis serviced us today. He was prompt and worked very fast. Installed a new under-sink garbage disposal which worked perfectly, and additionally replaced some of the old bendy pipes under the sink with straight ones. It drains much better now. It was 200 even for parts and labor, but he didn't break down the price any further than that. It seems reasonable enough? I don't know the average price for garbage disposal replacement.

Looks like I'm not alone with this review - had a single drain backed up in the laundry room and looked online to see lots of $60-$90 estimates for drain cleaning.  I scheduled online with Roto-Rooter presuming their prices would be in the neighborhood. Definitely they get props for easy scheduling and prompt arrival.  However, the fellow looked at my issue, said, that doesn't look too complicated, and then quoted me $500.  I declined the service, scheduled with the competition and got it done for: yes indeed, $83, with a 90-day warrantee.  If you enjoy flushing your money down the tube that  I am sure Roto-Rooter would be able to clean out for you, schedule with their service.  Otherwise, I suggest the competition, and keep the nearly 700% markup in your pocket.
