Best Leak Detection in Portland OR

Re-piping my house was not something I wanted to do. It was a job of necessity. We have a house built in the 2000s with CPVC pipe. I've had a number of plumbers out to the house since we bought it 5 years ago.. every single one describes this piping as a 'ticking time bomb'.

and our time was up. twice in 1 year we sprung a leak- and so we went forward with our re-pipe job.

So from the get go , when we sprung our first leak Repipe was great .. offered some fantastic advice that helped us get our insurance claim filed and paid when our insurance company was advising us to not file.

second leak a year later and they honored the quote they gave us a year prior, and also took off a fair amount to compensate for the work that was done during our first event.

They were quick , efficient and surgical .. we were prepared to repaint the entire interior of our house.. fearing the worst. In the end. We have some touch up work to do behind 2 toilets. The rest can wait.. behind the fridge, in our bedroom closets.. who cares.

Totally impressed with their ability to respond to my emergency situation within three hours. Others That I had contacted first said they were out 3 to 6 weeks. A very nice pleasant Mr. Rooter gentleman showed up ready to go to work. He did the evaluation of the situation,  explained to me what needed to be done and give an estimate of the cost for the work to be done and then set to work immediately.  He was done within about an hour and a half which I thought was remarkable. He also Was exact as to the estimated cost and completely cleaned up the area so you would hardly know he was there and double checked both toilets to be sure they were properly operating.  I really appreciate the professionalism of this company I would very definitely recommend them to anyone.

I work for a restaurant chain in the Portland area and we needed our kitchen drains unclogged from a grease buildup. We originally had Rescue Rooter out and it was very clear that they were trying to run up the cost of the job without actually getting it fixed.

Sutherland just replaced my main water supply line.  The old line from the meter to the house had a leak.  They were able to get a crew on the job the day after I called.  Their team explained my options, then did a great job replacing the water main.  They also ended up replacing our 20 year old water heater... all done in one day.  The crew was easy to work with, were very professional, and did a great job cleaning up after the job was done.  I couldn't be happier with their work.  I highly recommend Sutherland.

Keith is an absolutely amazing guy!!!

He showed up at exactly the time of the appointment.  I explained what was going on, he asked very good questions and gave me a bit of his background and how he got into his business. He explained what he was going to do and how long it would take.  He then geared up and proceeded to find not one but two leaks in the main water line for my house.  He explained that his accuracy was pretty good and that if the leak wasn't where he said,  he would happily refund the call out charge.

When I started to dig at the first location, the leak was EXACTLY under the X that Keith had put there.  I mean EXACTLY!  The second leak was also where he said it was (no mark here due to it being at the meter box).  There is no doubt that Keith knows what he is doing and he is extremely pleasant while he does it.  Keith answered my many questions and gave me a list of local businesses that could help me fix the leaks he identified.

Chris installed a new residential water heater in a timely manner. It's nice to have hot water again. Prompt and quality service. He was upfront about installation pricing. Would definitely use Cates Plumbing again on future projects.

Amy in the office was one of the nicest and most professional people I have dealt with since moving to Portland 5 years ago. Rick, our service tech was both professional and knowledgeable, he was on time and fast in diagnosing and repairing our heating unit. Sky is very reasonably priced and was able to see us on the same day we called without heat. We called 5 other companies and Sky was the only company able to see us. 5 stars for Alan! I called them about 8:15 this morning. I was told they would arrive between 10 & 12, which they did. Alan diagnosed the issue with a tub drain, gave me an estimate,  cleared drain, was friendly, explained things well and cleaned up thoroughly. Also replaced toilet flapper. I'd hired this company in the 70's to replace our service to the street. It is wonderful after all these years to find a company with the same honest & capable services.

This was the second time i used Cornel's Plumbing.  My new washer couldn't be hooked up to the water supply because my house has horrible PVC plumbing.  The PVC pipe had become brittle and fused to the hot water valve.  It was late in the afternoon when I called Cornel's, and they sent a plumber out the morning of the very next work day.  Yay!!!  Although he warned me the pipe could very likely break when he tried to remove it, it didn't, thank goodness.  I was only charged his $150 trip fee.  Double yay!!!  Cornel's Plumbing will continue to be my preferred company in the future.  I highly recommend them.

I've been using Northwest Plumbing & Drain for over 10-years. Most of my problems have been fairly minor; however, I've recommended him to numerous friends where they have had him remove old pipes and replace with new. My experience has been exceptional and I would not recommend him if otherwise. He's responsive; answers all my questions; makes recommendations for preventative maintenance; reasonably priced and he always leaves his jobs clean and organized.

Fast response-called on Wednesday afternoon and they sent a tech out the next morning and fixed my leak coming from upstairs bathroom within an hour, very efficient! Will be using again.

Great business!  I've used Mr. Reyes and his company, My Plumber, LLC several times. He installed a sprinkler system for us along with repiped some of our interior plumbing. Great work, extremely reliable, and charges a fair price. Very happy!

Henco responded immediately to a plumbing emergency at our house. They provide a reasonable bid to re-plumb the entire house and were able to start the same day. They were efficient and professional. They rescued us from a disastrous situation, and, in the end, charged less than they quoted.

I am very pleased with with the service provided to me by Go With the Flow Plumbing. I got tired of the low pressure and outdated hardware in my shower so I decided to get this fixed and forget about it. Vadim came out within 1 hour of contacting him and did a phenomenal job. He was very professional, courteous, and efficient. Now the pressure is back and it looks like new! Did I mention that the price was SUPER affordable? I can't say enough good things about Pacific Crest Plumbing's entire team.  Anna, in the office, was there to take my call and promptly got me to Nick, who listened to the description of my problem and gave me a fair and accurate estimate.  I was able to get an appointment in  just a few days for my non-emergent problem.  Nick and Cody have just left after rapidly and professionally doing the work I've been trying to get someone to do for months.  Most other plumbers didn't even return my calls.  These guys took care of the job quickly at a very reasonable price.

I would definitely recommend Direct Plumbing Solutions. Eric and Tyler came out quickly to assess the issue. Not only didn't they arrive promptly but they were respectful wearing both mask and booties and they were in and out quickly. I hope that if I have a future plumbing need that the management company that owes the property we rent has them come out to fix it again.

I'm a contractor, and I thought I'd try using River City for a portable toilet at a job site. There wasn't one aspect of the whole experience with this company that wasn't a major hassle. The quoted price wasn't even close to the final cost. The toilet was delivered damaged and unable to be secured. A replacement took weeks and since the original couldn't be secured, it was used and abused by people who had access to it 24 hours a day. They were unresponsive by email and by phone. I keep getting invoiced for very strange, small amounts 5 months after I paid the final invoice and they picked up their unit. To their credit, they eventually fixed one invoicing mistake, but I'm still trying to close the book with them...today I got a bill for 2 dollars and change.

I don't think I've ever left a one-star review, but I truly would avoid dealing with this company if you have other options. Luckily a porta-potty is a relatively small transaction, so I'm not out much. Maybe they are more responsive to larger customers, but I see a lot of red flags and will not be using them again.

I contacted Rotor-rooter thru the 800 number and a tech was dispatched from the Portland office.They arrived when they said they would and the tech assessed the situation and gave me a quote for $429.00. He assured me that he would be able to take care of my problem. He did take care of the problem, he was able to snake out a hair plug 10' in.The entire process was less than 30 minutes and he proudly charged $429 and never asked if I had a coupon or offered any type of Assistance.

Needed main sewer cleaning as it was completely blocked. Eulisese, Eli and Chad did a great job and also ran a scope thru the pipe (at no additional cost) to check the condition of the main sewer line.

The guys worked hard, were professional and really nice to talk to.

Will definitely join their maintenance plan when I get paid.
