Best Water Filter Services in Portland OR
We had a leaking hot water line in our crawl space, discovered by an A/C maintenance technician. My husband didn't think it would require a lot of work, but didn't have the time to figure out what pieces he would need to fix it. All the major plumbing places were booked out 5-12 days, and we were headed in vacation the next business day.
Curtis Leonard of Yore Place fit us in the same day, even offering to deliver the necessary part and explain how to do it ourselves to save money! Such a nice guy. I just had him do it for us (it was indeed a quick fix), and he said my husband could call him later with any questions. The other available plumber wanted to charge an extra $100 crawl space fee, even though the crawl space is almost big enough to stand up (we live on a hill). Curtis charged us less than half of that quote. He will be my first call the next time we have any plumbing needs, emergency or otherwise!

As the prior reviewer said, needing an HVAC guy is never really great. But Anthony was informative, prompt, and stayed extra to take care of cleaning out our 30 year old heating ducts -- six hours instead of the estimated 3-4, because apparently it had never been done. He fixed the flow to a couple of rooms that were cold all winter, cleaned out gobs (pounds!) of dust, hair, and dirt, and spent time explaining the process and the updates we need. They didn't charge extra for the super dirty system, either.

Totally impressed. Went out and bought s hot water heater thinking ours was on its last legs ($980). Called Tri County after their competitor stood us up twice. Tri county came out and took a look planning to install today. After looking at it they recommended leaving it be (has several more years life) and left w/o charging for the inconvenience! Will definitely be calling them for all my future needs. Were extremely professional.

Serviceman, Nicholas Bobo, was reliable, efficient, knowledgeable, helpful, and honest. I am very satisfied with what he did and what he explained for me to expect from the next plumber for the follow-up work. He did very thing we needed in a reasonable amount of time. He also made the connection with the plumber who will follow up to alleviate any confusion or missed steps.

Very happy with the service from Ti and associate. Initial inquiry answered within a couple of hours and appointment made. Tried two other local plumbers, who either didn't turn up to appointments or didn't respond to inquiry.
Job was done professionally, and fully explained the costs to begin with.
They also advised on a couple of other queries we had with external taps. Honest responses and helpful.
We now have a new preferred plumber!

The company came the next day to fix a problem with our water main (between house and water meter) They ended up replacing the whole line. They left our lawn in perfect shape, even though the had to dig a hole. the workers were courteous, professional and very nice. They had the problem fixed in under three hours. Their prices were reasonable for the work done.

William, the technician they sent to my house to connect all our under sink plumbing after we removed our sink to re-do our counters was the rudest, grouchiest man! I had called before scheduling the appointment to get an estimate (which turned out to be way more than everywhere else). Unknown to me at the time, they charge based on the job rather than by the hour like most plumbers. Other plumbers were about $85/hr and the job ended up taking 1.5hrs to complete, but I was charged $337 (nearly 4 hours worth of time). When I tested the dishwasher and water filter, neither had water going to them. When I pointed it out, he rudely told me that he had connected the pipes he was supposed to, and if the water was turned off it was not his job to turn it back on. Umm... I think as a plumber that is precisely your job! I would assume when hiring someone to connect your pipes, that testing them to make sure they work is part of the process... One of the pipes was leaking (which it hadn't been before) yet instead of admitting faulty reconnection as I'm inclined to believe, he insisted I needed a new pipe and charged another $99 on top of my already exorbitant rate. He was EXTREMELY RUDE the entire time. The friendliest thing he did was after I gave im my credit card to pay, he told me I would have been better off buying a new garbage disposal, new pipes and doing it all myself for how much I paid him...yeahhh... thanks...

We have used Danaya previously and just recently had to have her back for a project in our bathroom where I overestimated my skill level. She was able to come relatively quickly and finished the job in a prompt and efficient manner.
She is easy to talk with, listens attentively, and asks clarifying questions. She works expeditiously and her rates are reasonable. She is now my go to plumber for any future needs.

I called Trident out and a tech named kyris showed up, he was professional, courteous, and explained everything thoroughly. he gave me a bid showing me exactly what needed to be done and I was a little skeptical at first but I agreed to the price as it was much lower than the other to companies in Salem that gave me bids. Kyris finished up the work and I was blown at how good he did! I will now use Trident Plumbing from now on.. 5 stars for the above and beyond work he did at his price. thank you

We had a dishwasher installed and when we would run it, we noticed water leaking from the garbage disposal line. So we called Go With The Flow Plumbing and they came the next morning to fix the clogged line. He got it done quickly and efficiently! I would definitely refer this company to any friends! They're great.

We're first time homeowners who bought our house knowing that it was going to need to be completely repiped, including the line out to the street. We got bids from 6 different plumbers before deciding to go with Everlast and could not have had a better experience. I'm not usually one to write reviews, so the fact that I'm writing this at all is a testament to how great it was working with Zak and Dylan.
Not only was Zak's bid one of the most competitive (I think only one other company was less expensive, and only slightly), but we got the impression that everyone else who placed a bid would be treating our house like a worksite, while Zak and co. would treat it like our home. Seems like a small thing but it really made us feel a lot more comfortable with the idea of our house getting ripped apart. Repiping the whole house is no small task and we were anxious! Zak was so incredibly patient and thorough from the very start; answering all of our questions and making sure to cover some important considerations for this kind of work that we had probably not thought of as new homeowners. It was an easy choice to go with Everlast.
When the job actually started, both Zak and Dylan were amazing. Professional, friendly, efficient, communicative, personable, etc. Pick a positive adjective; they were that. They were always open to answering our questions with enthusiasm, and without apparent frustration at our naivete, and always checked in with us when they had deviate from an earlier discussed plan, or when they were about to make some necessary noise. They finished a day earlier than expected and the final price matched the original bid.
All in all, we truly could not be happier to have gone with Everlast for the job. If you hire anyone else to repipe your house, you're making a mistake.

As a new homeowner, we knew to shop around and read reviews. We are so happy we chose Malmedal to handle our request, to wrap pipes and replace a Drain line and spigot outside. The folks from Malmedal were as professional as could be and the price was great and competitive. We will choose Malmedal for all of our future plumbing needs without question.

Called them almost 24 hours ago and left a voicemail with 2 numbers. Never received a call back. Even tried to call again this morning and went straight to voicemail again. Probably do a great job as they were referred to me but doesn't really matter when you can't get a call back!

Showed up on schedule, very communicative, did a good job and they were available the next day. There's nothing more I want from a water heater install.

I'm a working professional with a limited background in plumbing. A handful of folks in our condominium needed water heaters installed. Jossy plumbing was so gracious about answering all of our questions and managed the logistics with the upmost professionalism. They were also genuinely kind and easy to work with. They were realistic about bids and costs. It's clear they have decades of industry experience because they knew what they were talking about and were proactive about troubleshooting as needed. They were responsible and responsive. Do yourself a favor and rely on them for Plumbing.

I contacted Rotor-rooter thru the 800 number and a tech was dispatched from the Portland office. They arrived when they said they would and the tech assessed the situation and gave me a quote for $429.00. He assured me that he would be able to take care of my problem. He did take care of the problem, he was able to snake out a hair plug 10' in.The entire process was less than 30 minutes and he proudly charged $429 and never asked if I had a coupon or offered any type of Assistance.

The installers were great. They were on time and finished the job on time. They were very pleasant and helpful with teaching me about the new systems.
Communication with the office wasn't great, they were hard to reach by phone. I recommend this company despite that, they do quality work.
