Best Bathroom Remodeling in Portland OR
Kevin did a great job! He responded within minutes of my request for a quote--he even suggested i call 3 other plumbers for quotes, which I did and he was right: his price was the same or less then all three I called. He was able to come out, confirm the quote and have a new hot water heater installed THAT DAY. I'm sure not all days are that open and we got lucky, but he was great and we are thankful! He answered all our questions thoroughly and brought our new hotwater heater up to code--where the old one wasn't as well as changed out the stand in sits on for a new metal one. I would definitely use him again!

Called and set an appointment. No one showed up and no one called back. That's the definition of a flake in my book.

I thought these guys were awesome. Showed up on time. Did their thing without much guidance from me. In other words, they fixed everything while I watched tv on the couch. They seemed very knowledgable and I felt totally comfortable having them come in and out of my house to grab supplies and what not. They fixed everything perfectly. Highly recommend!

I just had these guys come out for some outdoor work. INCREDIBLE guys. Worked hard, got everything fixed up. Wonderful. The problem is the office/owners. They charged $100 just to give an estimate. But, they said, we'll deduct that from your final bill if you hire us. Well, I got my final bill and they REFUSED to deduct it. They lied and they cheated. DO NOT EVER GO TO THIS COMPANY.

Did a wonderful job. Got in contact with me quickly after I requested a quote, and got me on their calendar. Victor was on time, very clean, worked quickly, had great communication about the job and came in at what I was quoted for the price. What more can you ask for?
I would enthusiastically recommend this company to anyone needing a plumber.

Service was professional from start to finish. I called to schedule and was given prices. Parts and labor were provided as quoted. Jake arrived on time and was quick and thorough. I would definately use them again.

I've had Advanced Plumbing out for 3 issues so far (rebuild kitchen sink plumbing, run 50ft gas line for fireplace, install toilet and water heater expansion tank). All 3 jobs were done quickly and professionally. Really impressed in their scheduling to jump on a job in a week or two (rather than 3 months out like everybody else). Their techs are neat and earnest in their work, and done at a great price! Highly recommended.

Please Avoid Paul's Plumbing Service
My whole problem with Paul's plumbing service started after I got a quote over the phone ($150/hour +parts), from his partner in crime Josh, which did not at all represent the final bill: $3200 for about 5 person hours (~$600/hour), abject refusal to itemize parts or labor, absolute refusal to put any sort of warranty in writing.
When challenged, Paul will completely ignore the word quote or even acknowledge that one was given over the phone, only reference the bid that he gives you in person and then mansplain to you that the bid is the actual total amount due at the end of the con-job regardless of how long ... or ... in my case extremely short ... the time it takes to do said job. To be clear, there were two people on site, but only one of those people actually did any work .. and, to save money, I personally dug the hole in my front yard which allowed them access to the water main ... as for parts, a plastic tube and fittings ... maybe $100?
In the end, I complained to Paul that the final price was unfair and that my wife and I felt that he took advantage of us. He was completely unremorseful and took it upon himself to defend his actions by mansplaining the fact that we should have known the difference between repair or service work and a bid (which we were presented after he arrived ... without telling us that there was any difference at all).
- Please avoid Paul's plumbing service
- Do not sign a bid after you have been given a quote
If I had known what I know now, I would have chased him off of my property with a big stick (with dog shi* on the end of it).
Paul will look you in the eye and tell you Yelp Loves Me -- direct quote. I hope this review puts a dent in that (as he did our bank account) and I hope Yelp loves you just a little bit less today, Paul. ... and you can quote me on that.

They did a great job cementing a new mailbox and post for me. They arrived on time and finished the work in a timely manner. We had good communication ahead of time so there were no issues of misunderstanding each other. I felt the price was a little high but will probably use them again for jobs in the future.
